I was a little worried about him going somewhere new but as soon as I met Steve and Shirley I felt so much better. Max has just spent 5 days with them and Steve kindly sent me a text to let me know that everything was going well and also sent a photo of Max enjoying the lovely sunny weather laying on Shirley's lap. Tracy really does take into account your pets needs when finding sitters which was especially important for me as Max is a miniature Terrier so a secure garden was particularly important. I would definitely recommend PetStay. ”

“I first contacted Petstay a couple of years ago when we needed someone to look after our dog Poppy while we went on holiday as we would not be happy to put her in kennels. My son had always looked after her but he was about to move to America. I searched the internet for alternatives to kennels and found Petstay, I contacted Sally who was very efficient, getting back to me straight away and after asking a few questions about Poppy's needs she put us in touch with John and Frances and we haven't looked back since. At our initial meeting it was obvious that John and Frances loved dogs and Poppy seemed very happy and comfortable with them. Even though we knew they would look after her well we were still very apprehensive about leaving her, but we needn't have worried she thoroughly enjoyed her time with them and John emailed photos of Poppy to put our minds at rest. Poppy requires medication and it is never an inconvenience to John and Frances to administer her tablets. Poppy has now stayed with John and Frances five times and she bounds happily into their home, always pleased to see them again, when we drop her off. It is obvious to us that John and Frances love having Poppy to stay (even though she is a demon with their mail!!) We can rest assured that when Poppy stays with John and Frances that she is happy and content and she will be back to stay in the summer. “We wanted a home from home environment for our dog as we were embarking on an epic journey for over three weeks on a family holiday to China! Wow what a great service we got from PetStay right from the start - from my first enquiry to finding a suitable potential home very quickly and then setting up a meeting with Liz and then smooth payment and clear instructions. The form to complete about Pippy's daily routine and preferences was very comprehensive and made discussions when I met Liz really useful so we were both clear about what Pippy needed. This is our first family dog and the first time we had left him for any time. But we need not have worried - he was already starting to settle in and becoming part of the gang with Toby and Squib! We need not have worried in the slightest. Liz and Malcolm had got things all planned and sorted and Pippy was already having a good time. A phone call when I got home really reassured me and put my mind at rest. Also texts whilst we were away were very reassuring. Meeting up with Pippy again when we got back went really well - he was so pleased to see us ( we were so relieved he had not forgotten who we were) - lots of yelps, licks and jumping about when he caught sight of us! At the same time Pippy was obviously happy and settled and looked really good. Groomed daily and with sparkling teeth after daily cleans too! And an added and unexpected lovely touch was to be given a few snapshot photos taken during his stay showing him clearly having a great time! So overall - delighted. Would we use PetStay again? - definitely, would we recommend Liz and Malcolm - most definitely and will we tell our friends how happy we were with the service - Definitely YES! ”

“I would just like to thank you for all your help in securing Bertie a 'home from home' experience whilst we were on holiday for two weeks. Bertie is a very gentle and loving dog who doesn't suit kennels, so when we were unable to find someone to care for him, you came to our rescue. From the outset you were diligent in finding the right carer for our Pointer and arranged a meeting so that we felt comfortable in where he would be staying. The carer was perfect and Bertie was happy and relaxed when we went to collect him. He had had such a brilliant time I think he wanted to stay! “We found the thought of leaving Maggie, our Border Terrier, really difficult when going on holiday. We looked at kennels but didn't feel comfortable in leaving her in such a different environment. We decided to look at Petstay and that's where we met Sally and Garrod. Sally and Garrod have been exceptional. They have made sure Maggie's every whim is catered for: from giving her porridge in the morning, to ensuring that she has at least an hours exercise each day. Not only that, they have sent us regular e-mails and pictures to keep us up to date with how she's getting on. I now no longer worry about leaving her when we're away. I know she is happy - the tell-tale sign is her tail wagging as she arrives, which makes the whole process easy for us. They are fantastic! Paula North”
