Wold Meadow - Dog Friendly Glamping in Wold Newton, Yorkshire

Welcome to our wonderful world of Wold Meadow Yurts, a hidden glamping gem in the North Yorkshire countryside. We have six luxurious Yurts with outdoor hot tubs and good facilities. We’ve named each one after the stunning wildlife you can sometimes see in the area!

You’ll also discover each Yurt has a log burner, a hot tub, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pans, electric cool box, non-breakable glasses, outdoor dining furniture and more. Wold Meadow Yurts are made in Yorkshire, based on a traditional Mongolian design. Idyllic and peaceful, we look forward to you joining us for a glamping experience.

Adults Only
Our site is for adults only so it’s a child-free zone for your staycation. We have good onsite facilities including showers, toilets and cooking areas. Each of these luxurious, circular, canvas dwelling has its own personality, tastefully decorated and colour-coordinated with a wildlife theme. We’ve combined all the elements of the finest glamping holiday, including fire pits, bbqs all tucked away in a rural location.

Who we are?
We – Jayne and Graham White – wanted our guests to enjoy the wide-open skies, the incredible wildlife and the warm Yorkshire hospitality which you’ll find in the area. We want you to enjoy the outdoor life along with relaxing luxury with our glamping accommodation. Our vision was born from the oodles of hospitality experience we’ve had over the years ensuring that you’ll get a wonderful glamping experience. We have lived and worked in the area all our lives and we have a wealth of knowledge that is second to none.

This is combined with an eye for detail which will inspire you so you stay with us time and again. We ran our own very busy leisure and tourism business for 15 years which we sold in late 2019.

We had this vague notion that “we could take things easy”. We found that taking things “easier” was not for us so with the help of our daughter Charlotte, we have now set up our new business, Wold Meadow Yurts.

Situated on the edge of Wold Newton village, Wold Meadow boasts indulgent, luxurious, circular canvas dwellings. Each yurt have their own personality, carefully curated to ensure our guests have a cosy experience. We would be delighted to be part of your glamping break, during which you can make those extra-special memories.
