Flowery Dell Luxury Pine Lodges/Log Cabins, near Richmond in the Yorkshire Dales, is the perfect place for Scandinavian style woodland serenity, without leaving the UK. The small family run site is set in a peaceful valley, though civilisation is only five minutes away and offers a great luxury alternative to Pet Friendly Yorkshire Dales Holiday Cottages.

The lodges are centrally heated and fully equipped; most have south-facing enclosed balconies for balmy summer evenings - meaning you and your dog can enjoy some alfresco dining.

There is lots of wildlife to interest you both: rabbits and birds abound and you can expect occasional visits from foxes, badgers and deer. A tennis ball's throw from the doorstep is Hudswell Woods, a National Trust property that’s doggie heaven, with paths criss-crossing and leading down to the River Swale, where your four-legged friends can enjoy a dip!

Walking books are in all lodges featuring walks to suit all dogs - from the golden oldie who likes a little stroll, to the energetic who like to take their owners on serious walkies. There is a Dog exercise area near Hazel, Hawthorn & Maple & short walks around the site as well as a circular walk taking in a short stretch along Hudswell Lane. There are several longer walks from Flowery Dell including Hudswell Woods & the Drummer Boy Walk.
