Ryedale Dog Field - Secure Dog Field in Malton, Yorkshire
Ryedale Dog Field and Railway Dog Field are secure, enclosed fields offering dog owners the space to let their dogs exercise off the lead and allowing users the sole use of the field for their booked slot.
Located in the village of Broughton, less than 2 miles West of Malton, the fields are ideally situated for the convenience of dog owners in Malton and Norton and surrounding villages and are easily accessible from the Pickering and Kirkbymoorside areas.
They are ideal for exercising and training dogs as well as providing a safe place for dogs (or their owners!) recovering from injury or treatment or simply for dogs who like their own space. It is a useful asset to people who have a new dog in particularly a rescue dog or rehomed dog, providing a secure area for you to be able to bond.
We allow up to 7 dogs at a time and prices start from £5 for half an hour’s use of the field for 1-3 dogs or £8 for an hour.
About
It was noticeable that there is a shortage of places where dogs can naturally exercise themselves. Having visited a similar project and recognized there is a need for such a space, we have established Ryedale Dog Field to benefit the local community who like to let their dogs run freely.
It has a wide appeal to all dog owners, not just those with reactive dogs as it provides an ideal place to train and learn recall without interruption from other dogs or the fear of your dog running away.
Ryedale Dog Field
Ryedale Dog Field is a two acre site enclosed by 2m fencing with rabbit wire secured to the bottom of the fence to prevent even the most determined of diggers and scramblers from escaping with a bin provided to dispose of poo bags.
It has a picnic table, a shelter known as "The Kennel" where walkers and their dogs can take cover from bad weather or shade from the sun and some jumps for a little added fun.
