West Close Farmhouse - Dog Friendly Holiday Accommodation in Leyburn, Yorkshire

West Close Farmhouse Holiday Cottages, set in the heart of Coverdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park are two individually designed, stone cottages converted from barns, each having their own unique style.

These 2 bedroom, cosy, country retreats are set in the grounds of West Close Farmhouse, and both enjoy spectacular views over Coverdale and the North Yorkshire Moors.



Each cottage is dog friendly and has its own conservatory to take full advantage of the wonderful views. They each have a log burning stove and wifi internet access. There is a large and secure parking area adjoining the cottages and a storage area for bicycles.

If booked together the cottages are ideal for groups of 8, with the opportunity to use a large dining room for communal meals and relaxation (see Group Holidays).

Within easy reach of Leyburn Market town, Middleham, with its horse racing connections and historic castle, and Masham with its very own breweries.

West Close Cottage
Sleeps 4 (+ cot)
West Close Cottage is a converted split-level, single-storey farm building worked in local stone, with unobstructed views over Coverdale, lower Wensleydale and beyond into the Vale of York.
The property is entered through a conservatory into the lounge with a stone fireplace, with log burning stove, and with exposed roof trusses and a railed gallery feature.
Surrounding the lounge are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and fitted wardrobe, the other with two single beds and dressing chest. There is a lobby with cupboard and adjoining bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and wc.
Leading from the lounge (down three steps) is a large, well-equipped fitted kitchen/dining room. The lounge, kitchen and conservatory all offer spectacular views over the dales.
This innovative conversion, supplemented by tasteful decoration and furnishings, provides a high standard of accommodation.
There is a large secure floodlit parking area to one side of the cottage.

Field Cottage

Field Cottage is a single-storey building worked in local stone and converted from a former barn.
There are unobstructed views from the sitting room, conservatory and kitchen across Coverdale, lower Wensleydale and into the distant Vale of York.
Great care has been taken in the conversion and a high standard of accommodation is offered.
The cottage is entered through a small conservatory and porch, with room for coats and shoes, which opens into a modern, well-equipped, fitted kitchen and cosy lounge with dining area and a stone fireplace, with log burning stove.
Leading from the lounge is a short stairway, which in turn leads to two bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and wc. One bedroom contains a double bed and the other, two single beds.
There is a large private secure floodlit parking area.
