Kutz 4 Muttz - Dog Groomer in Huddersfield, Yorkshire
Regular dog grooming is important for the health and well-being of your dog. It helps keep your dogs coat in good condition, reduces skin complaints, prevents coats from matting and keeps it looking nice.My name is Beth. I am a professional and fully trained dog groomer in all aspects of canine care.
At Kutz 4 Muttz I cater for all coat types and coat styles. I am conscious that some dogs are anxious when being groomed. My aim is to ensure their visit causes the least amount of stress possible for your dog.
When your dog first comes to the salon I will give a full health check allowing me to assess your dogs skin and coat condition. This ensures I use the correct products for your dog.
A full medical record will be taken and I will discuss with you your dogs likes and dislikes.
We will discuss what type of cut you want and a price will be agreed which will depend on coat length and condition.
Why come to Kutz 4 Muttz?
No cages used - No cage driers, only hand held ones - Minimum stress for your dog
Caring friendly staff - Easy parking

Anxious Dogs and Puppies
At Kutz 4 Muttz we offer your dog the opportunity to come to the salon for a small fee and to be left for an hour to get used to the surroundings. Your dog will be brushed and played with. This will encourage bonding with the groomer and create confidence, thus when it comes to the full grooming process it will be less stressful.
Bach Flower Remedies For Dogs
Having been trained in the various components of Bach Flower Remedies for people I have further undertaken specialised training in Bach Flower remedies for dogs. I am now certified having achieved my Diploma (with distinction) in specific assessment and recommendation of Bach Flower Remedies for dogs and can now undertake consultations.
A full assessment consists of behavioural diagnosis to ascertain your dog's emotional traits and recommend the most suitable remedies to help address any issues.
Each of the 38 remedies were discovered by Dr. Bach. The remedies are directed at particular characteristics or emotional states e.g.
Elm - Overwhelmed by responsibility
Gorse - Hopelessness or despair
The therapist will look at your circumstances and mix 2 to 4 different remedies which are mixed with spring water and taken four times a day.
