Welcome to Lobster Pot, located in the picturesque town of Hornsea, in the county of East Riding of Yorkshire. We offer comfortable and dog-friendly accommodation for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Our house is perfect for couples or small families who want to bring their furry friends along. With its cosy atmosphere, you'll feel right at home from the moment you step through the door.

Inside the house, you'll find all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals, and the cozy living area is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the town.

There's a lovely private and secure garden, 6 foot walls and gates so you and your dogs can enjoy. It's the perfect spot for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. And with the beach just a short walk away, you and your four-legged friend can enjoy long walks and playtime in the sand.

Local Area Information
The house is just a two minute walk to the long sandy beach, town, leisure centre with swimming pool and the start of the Transpennine Trail.  10 minutes walk to the Mere and Wassand Hall woodland walks are also within easy reach. Lots to do in Hornsea and also a great base to explore the Yorkshire Coast.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the east coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington.  This old Victorian resort has long, wide safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens on the front, ideal for families.  

The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes.  Hornsea town is very dog friendly with many bars and cafes being dog friendly.  There is a good selection of restaurants and take-aways.  Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing crazy golf a lovely cafe, shop and boat trips.  

Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest puffin populations in Britain.  

There is lots to do in Hornsea and it's also a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, North Yorkshire Moors and other East Riding and North Yorkshire coastal resorts.  The historic city of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.

Dogs Very, Very Welcome
No charge for dogs.  The beach is dog friendly all year with just a central section reserved for swimmers in summer.  The house is very, very dog friendly with no restrictions.

For your dog there are stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs should you use them.  If you need a crate just ask and we can provide one.  The house has dog bowls, throws, towels, poo bags and treats.  We allow multiple dogs to visit, numbers dependent on number of guests to ensure a comfortable stay.
