Whether you are here visiting family or enjoying a country break, we hope you have a restful, refreshing stay here at Phepson Farm.
Diamond Cottage
Welcome to Diamond Cottage, one of our most recently converted barns. With terracotta tiles throughout, exposed oak beams and large French doors, Diamond Cottage has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The living room has a double height ceiling open beams and trusses with French doors leading onto the patio and garden. There is a large master bedroom with a sumptuous king size bed and a twin room, ideal for friends or family.
The Granary
Our latest conversion is the Old Granary Barn (sleeps 5), this three bedroom cottage has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area taking up the whole ground floor, with a modern country feel and space for a family get together. Upstairs there are two ensuite bedrooms, one will be a double and one will be a twin (can be a snug superking) with full length window looking out over the stone balcony stairs. There is also a small single room for those staying as a family.
The Granary is a perfect retreat for the family. The large shared garden has patio furniture and a BBQ is available on request.
Wildlife Walk
Phepson Farm is managed to help conserve and nurture the natural habitat, aiming to maintain the historic landscape and conserve different species of wildflowers and birds. Our wildlife walk gives you the opportunity to walk along a route around the farm and see some of this work in progress. You may notice works such as tree planting, hedgerow restoration, hay making and grazing. Historic features being maintained include medieval ridge and furrow and a settlement indicated by earthworks platforms. Some of the birds to look or listen for are Lapwings, Skylarks, Song Thrushes, Yellowhammers and Reed Buntings.
