Beechfield House is a stunning 4 AA red star, 24 bedroom, luxury country house hotel in Wiltshire.  Family and dog friendly, we are conveniently located for nearby Bath and the many attractions in Wiltshire, including Longleat Safari Park, Castle Combe Motor Racing Circuit, the ancient sites of Avebury and Stonehenge as well as Lacock and Castle Combe villages where parts of Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and War Horse were filmed.

The outdoor heated pool is gorgeous in the summer, whilst in the winter open fires are as warm as the welcome. Friendly yet professional staff complement this wonderful building.

Doggies
We are delighted to welcome dogs to Beechfield House. The grounds of our dog friendly hotel contain a whole host of areas for you and your 'best friend' to stretch your legs.

We have carefully selected rooms especially for you and your canine companion so it is important to notify us prior to your arrival that you will be bringing your dog with you.

Rooms
Beechfield House comprises 24 good-sized bedrooms all refreshingly different from one another and all named after the trees you can find in the grounds.

All the beds have divine, pure Egyptian cotton sheets and there are Egyptian cotton towels. All rooms are ensuite, have digital widescreen LCD TV, a hairdryer, complimentary magic potions in the bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities. All rooms also have the benefit of superfast broadband wifi internet access.

Gardens & Pool
Beechfield House sits wonderfully centrally in 8 acres of grounds, comprising a walled garden and terrace area, formal lawns and flower beds, informal woodland and grassland and wild garden.

There is a croquet lawn and on the former tennis lawn football goals are in place for a family kick about.

For the more energetic our outdoor swimming pool is conveniently located within the walled garden and is the perfect spot for a swim from early morning to late evening. Heated to a wonderful 80F, it's open from late March to late October.

Alternatively the pool area is a wonderful location to while away a sunny day relaxing on one of the very comfortable loungers. Drinks, bar meals, and afternoon tea are all served to the pool area.
