My name is Linda and I am a qualified dog behaviourist located in CORSHAM. I am a fear- and force-free practitioner.
I also do home visits in CHIPPENHAM, CORSHAM, MELKSHAM and CALNE.
I do behaviour consultations at your home and send you an email summary of my visit - suggesting home environment/behaviour modifications.
It is usual for us all to go for a dog walk during my first visit. We discuss your dog's walking equipment and I may suggest making changes to elements of this.
I usually recommend 1-3 follow-up visits so that we can review the behaviour modifications suggested in my summary.
I am interested in/knowledgeable about most dog/puppy behaviour issues. Issues I am commonly asked to help with include: pulling, dog-dog reactivity, excess barking, jumping up, and separation anxiety.
I am interested in your dog's harness being a good fit (not too baggy) and also in the subject of head collars/front ring harnesses (for dogs who pull or who are dog-dog reactive).
I am able to advise you about keeping the peace in a multi-dog household and enjoy working with families who may also have a baby, toddlers, or a cat.
I was brought up with English springer spaniels (two or three at a time) and have worked for 4.5 years in a large dog boarding kennels. I have worked with police dogs, prison dogs, rescue dogs, and pet dogs.
I am KIND, QUALIFIED, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and INSURED. I aim to enable good citizens at both ends of the leash!

Reviews
“I can highly recommend Linda as a knowledgeable and dedicated dog behaviourist. Since I was a child, I have always been fearful of dogs but when I recently spent a few days with Linda and the dog she cares for, Ellie, all my fears evaporated in the first few minutes. Ellie was obedient and well behaved at all times. I also found that Ellie was gentle with every dog she encountered while out on walks.”
