Nice walk of about an hour and three quarters (4.2 miles) with good views across to Cissbury and over Long Furlong, only one hill to climb, it's not too steep but seems to go on forever! In the woods up that hill you can hear Parakeets squawking, not sure how they came to be there.
From the car park, walk straight up along Honeysuckle lane to the end at Long Furlong, cut across the field to Findon Cricket Club and then follow the path back to Findon Church and Findon Manor House, go along the path parallel to the road a bit and then go right, up the hill and back to High Salvington again.
When you walk down Heather Lane on the way back, about halfway down there is usually a dog bowl with water in it left outside one of the houses which is always a treat, I usually wait to to get home and have a lager though!!!
