Camping and Caravanning at Sumners Ponds
There are three camping areas, ‘Bluebell Park’,’ Ribbon Park’ and ‘Sumners Park’, which is a lakeside camping area. There are a mixture of grass and hardstanding pitches some of which are positioned right next to the lakes so are ideal for people wanting to fish. In peak times it is often possible to accommodate tents in our overflow camping field, but this area does not have any electrical hook-ups.

Ribbon Park, the new addition to Sumners Ponds is situated in between Farm Pond and Ribbon Lake, is ideal for Angler and Camper of all ages with the added benefit of running water available at each pitch. Ribbon Park is also well positioned for access to the woodland walks and cycle routes around the farm.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the campsite for a small additional charge. Dogs should remain on a lead at all times in the camping and fishing areas. Your day visitors are also welcome at no extra charge. Visitors' cars should be left in the car park by the entrance.

Reviews

“I have just had another fantastic stay at this campsite. The site is beautifully laid out, plenty of room between pitches with very clean well equipped facilities. Amazing cafe, serving delicious food with a small bar. Great local walks for your pooch with lots of local dog friendly pubs to keep you refreshed along the way. ”

“A fantastic site, set in beautiful countryside, with it's own fishing lake, lots to do & see in the local area & amazing walks. The site is so dog friendly they don't even charge for our four legged friends! Facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean, great showers & heated too. Very good food served in the site cafe, 10/10 for the breakfasts & service. Our only complaint is that we wish we had found your site years ago, we will defiantly be back again & again!! Thank you for making our stay so perfect..”
