Park around Ilex way & from the central grass area cross Aldsworth Ave at the gap in the trees.
Follow the bridal way along the tree lined avenue past Goring Hall (Left), the Park (left) with cricket & football pitches, open fields (some of you will want to watch out for Squirrels).
At the far end, Sea Lane, turn around & meander back or turn left & walk along to the beach.
At the beach you can go Left or Right.
Left:- Follow the grassed area to the woods (public toilets at beach end of woods) some will need to watch out for Kite Surfers & Picnickers.
If your ready for home head north along the foot path through the woods (you will need to cross 3 roads) until you see some playing fields to your left. Diagonally opposite is an opening between a flint wall & some trees which leads back to the Park you passed at the beginning of the walk.
If you need a bit more continue along the sea front/beach to Sea Lane Cafe & then back to the woods (you can return to Ilex Way directly from Sea Lane Cafe along Sea Lane).
Right:- Follow the path to the right, or walk along the beach, to the Blue Bird Cafe (Dog Friendly) have a Tea & return or you can continue along the sea front past Kingston Gorse into East Preston or from the Bluebird Cafe carpark take a wander along the river Rife.
Some people never make it out of the Ilex & Park - who can blame them - others like to walk through the woods to the beach & back
