Dog Friendly
As dog owners ourselves, we are happy for you to bring your pet with you when you stay at The Haven.
All we ask is that your dogs don’t climb onto the bedding and chairs.
Please also clear any waste up from the garden. There is a dog waste bin just around the corner on the edge of Nepcote Green which you can use.
Findon is a very dog friendly village with a good number of waste bins scattered around the village. The village green (known as Nepcote Green) is less than 100 yards away. It’s a great place to exercise your dog.
You will also find that if you want to dine out, your dog will be welcome in many local pubs where you can eat in the bar area. The Gun Inn, The Village House and The Black Horse are all a short walk away.
Further afield, there is a wide and long promenade in Worthing. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches at Worthing and Goring between May and September but all other local beaches are dog friendly.

“A lovely home from home from which you can enjoy many glorious walks in the beautiful Southdowns withs dogs. Nice dog-friendly touches such as dog towel, wipes, bowls etc which made us feel welcome (along with the complimentary bottle of wine and chocs!)”

“Our owners love to make their holidays complete by having us two dogs with them ( well all those great walks keep them fit) but in the past they have found accommodation that accepts dogs to be very basic....but not anymore since they discovered The Haven (our mum said it lives up to its name) it really is 5 stars, comfortable with all the luxuries, it must be the best as we have stayed three separate weeks this year...if your very lucky like us you may see Lottie the beautiful Cocker Spaniel when she brings her owner Elaine along. With lots of licks and barks Sammie and Georgie , ”
