“came for lunch with friends as two people were celebrating their birthdays, very disappointed with our starters, and also two of us had the duck which was very dry and tasted as though it had been cooked hours ago, when we were asked how the meal was we then told them of our disappointment - we were offerred something else- too late - overall not the usual Spotted Cow experience”

“ I have been a regular at the spotted cow in Angmering for many years as it’s my local. Over the last few months I have noticed a great deterioration in the quality of food and hot drinks so I bought this to the attention of the staff on numerous occasions. In the end I put my honest review on TripAdvisor and to my disbelief the staff worked out the review may have been submitted by myself, so they informed the owner who in turn has told their staff to refuse to serve me. Clearly this has hit a nerve and I wonder if there is a link between selling and the quality of service. Instead of approaching me and offering a gesture of goodwill or a thanks to help them improve things, I’ve been treated this was way. Suffice to say I will not be recommending this place to family, friends or associates.”

“Great place to take the dog and have a pint! Dogs given water and good walking nearby. Bar staff and Mike all make a fuss of dogs, making everyone welcome. ”

“The perfect dog pub, with the downs not far away The Spotted Cow is ideal place to stop on the way back from a long walk. The staff are all very friendly, and make you and your pet feel very welcome! I would highly recommend popping by and trying it for yourself. ”
