“My boxer loves agility and is just going to start going to doggie day care miranda and her team are fantastic patient with the dogs and very patient with the owners ”

“I have been training my 2yr old dog at SCDT for over a year he has come on leaps and bounds. We primarily do agility but Miranda has been there along the way to help with all the little niggles that have popped up (i.e recall) I can't rate Miranda and her team highly enough I have had help from all of them in workshops and classes, Friday evening is the highlight of my week. Keep up the good work :D ”

“My GSD Kiki and I have been having 1:1 training with Miranda and she has changed so much. Shes responding to my commands and is a much happier dog. In the beggining Kiki was extremely dog aggressive and she nearly ripped my arm off she pulled so much. But with Miranda's help she has become much happier. She doesnt pull on the lead anymore and we had a bark free session this week, which is so so amazing for her! Miranda is truely wonderful. She is very knowledgable and approachable. Im truely honoured to know her. ”

“I cannot recommend Sussex County Dog Traning enough...I haven't a negative thing to say about them. They really are fantastic...i have been made to feel welcome and a friend rather than a client everytime, Not once have I come away without the feeling of achievement and learning something new each time. Their training methods are positive and force-free (I wouldn't want to train my dogs any other way) and they are always there to help. Whether I'm training my dog in agility or having a 121 in trick training I am always 110% pleased with what my dog and I have learnt :-)”

“My 5 month old Puppy and I have loved the classes, and have been coming since she was around 12 weeks old. Fantastic techniques and relaxed, reward based learning for useful everyday skills needed, with some fun stuff thrown in (we love the 'meerkat' pose and skateboarding!) Can't wait until she's ready to try out agility and some other fun classes!”
- Claire
“I love my weekly training sessions. They are brilliant fun and a great way of socialising - dogs and humans! We learn tricks to make it more fun and interesting. I've just passed my bronze and silver Kennel Club tests. You get lots of help and support from the trainers. People comment on how well behaved I am and my mum always tells them that it is thanks to SCDT. Thank you Miranda and all of the other staff and helpers”

“Our rescue Labrador puppy was a nightmare in her early months having been rejected by her mother and so not schooled in puppy manners. The team at SCDT have worked wonders over the last two years and introduced Tilly to so many new experiences that she has become a most wonderful young dog. Positive training with a constant emphasis on having fun with your dog and excellent socialisation.”

“I would always recommend this training school always calm and reassuring when dogs don't do what you want them to do So many classes available and small classes and 1 2 1s”

“At SCDT there is a band of dedicated and enthusiastic trainers led by Jeff & Miranda. The ethos of the company is 'have fun with your dog, learn together and train using reward based methods.' I take part in flyball & agility classes and 121s. All great fun for both dog and handler. We have learnt a lot together and the bond between myself and my dog has deepened. It's a 'Yes' from me and a big 'Yes' from Timmy”

“I am currently attending the puppy class with my 14 week old puppy Heidi. Everyone there is really helpful and understanding and have a great deal of knowledge which they are more than happy to pass on. They are teaching us brilliant techniques to take home and practice. I am really looking forward to the next couple of weeks and then intend on taking further classes. Thanks Sussex County Dog Training for providing such a fun and relaxed class.”

“I have taken part in a class aimed at beginners/younger dogs and I have also completed several one to one sessions at sussex county dog training. All these sessions have been helpful, very informative and a lot of fun for both myself and my dog. The classes are well timed with lots of different things to work on which means that no one gets bored. The reward based training is very effective and very easy to transfer to real life. I mention that because I have taken part in previous classes where the skills taught were not so transferable. Miranda and her colleagues have always been incredibly helpful dealing with my numerous questions and I have recommended this centre to many people as a result.”
