and lifetime solutions. I cover the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire areas & sometimes further afield, as required.
I do not use any aggressive or harsh training methods and both you and your dog will be treated with the utmost respect at all times.

'Jumping up' - House training
Obedience training - Destructive behaviour - Irrational behaviour

I am passionate about helping dogs to have happy and fulfilled lives. Please be assured, I use only calm assertive energy and my knowledge to train dogs. I will share this with you - no gimmicks or gadgets and definitely no physical aggression.

Services:
One-to-one consultations: A maximum two-hour session, carried out in the dog's normal
environment will allow me to assess your dog. We will begin by discussing the
problems and I will observe the dog's behaviour and your relationship carefully.
I will then interact with your dog to obtain a fuller understanding of them and from this
devise and practice the necessary training required. I will provide you with
an individual report on my observations and recommendations for your dog and provide ongoing
advice/support through phone and/or email. Training and behaviour modification is always
a long term process requiring patience and commitment.  However, many of my clients are amazed
at how much can be achieved in just one session.  Having professional help
and a clear plan makes all the difference.

Follow-up one-to-one sessions: Some owners benefit from a follow up session to re-visit
training techniques or address additional unwanted behaviours. This is more often the
case with serious behavioral problems.

Continued support programme: Some dogs, such as those with very acute behavioural
problems, may benefit from continued support on an ongoing and regular basis.
Such sessions can be booked in advance at discounted rates.

Pack walks: Many dogs that are reactive (aggressive), become over excited or
nervous with other dogs can benefit enormously from carefully controlled
walks with calm positive leadership in the company of
other non-reactive dogs.

Help with choosing your dog: Choosing the right dog for you and your lifestyle, be it
a puppy or a rescue, is very important. Dogs vary enormously in all manner of ways,
both by breed and individual personality. I can help you choose the right dog either
through advice, or by accompanying you in your selection. Trust
me, making the right decision will make a big difference!

“We met Tracie 15months ago for first time when benson was highly reactive to vacuums. Ironing boards. Line props and brooms. Literally within 30 minutes we had a new dog. Talked us through why and where we were going wrong. We had a grandchild earlier this year and Benson became a problem around him. Another 2hr session where she walked us through all the scenarios and again he calmed down. We can now have a family walk together and home visits with no anxiety or stress. Still work to do but that’s on us. Tracie has said she will be with us during the next phase which is coming and we know she will. We cannot thank her enough. She has changed our lives twice now for the better in a massive way. Can’t recommend her enough. So knowledgeable the dogs love her and you will be so impressed with how she can change your lives. Thank you . ”

“Tracie provides an excellent training service and pack walk where everyone is really friendly and supportive of each other. Tracie also recently walked and spent time with our dog whilst we attended a wedding, and did so without any hesitation to help us out whilst providing an excellent service. Thank you ”

“Tracey from Dog Star Services did an excellent job with Teddy who is a very timid 2 year old cockapoo, she offered me so much advise and help and already it is helping. The pack walk is also very good and I will be taking Teddy, it will defo help him get used to other people and other dogs. I would 100% recommend Tracey. ”

- Mandy Connelly

“We have a Yorkshire terrier that does not walk very well on the lead and is highly reactive when out in the community. After approaching dogstarservises I cannot thank Tracie enough. Her knowledge and understanding of canines was amazing and results after just one training session! ”

- Kersty millership

“We have a very reactive 4 year old male labrador. Having unsuccesfully attempted to work with trainers previously we finally approached our vets for advice. Dogstarservices were recommended. Upon meeting us for the first time, our dogs issues were quickly assessed, as indeed were some of our failings which were adding to the problem. We had a clear assessment, realistic and targeted advice, and a focused strategy for moving forward. Our dog regularly attends the scheduled pack walks for reactive dogs and he's a changed boy! Yes there is still some way to go but the changes in him have been amazing. Dogstarservices gets our highest recommendation. Very professional and very understanding of owners and how to put them at ease which is common anxiety. ”

- Andrew Broome

“Highly recommend Tracie. Worked wonders with our chocolate lab, getting him walking outside after nearly 2 years! Knowledgeable and professional. 5*”

- Helen

“Great one to one training with my Caucasian shepherd Yogi off Tracie as i needed to get him to walk with me instead of pulling. Lovely lady who teaches you where your going wrong and gives you and yr dog homework to correct the mistakes. Yogi didn't know pulling was wrong and shouting mad it even worse. Would definitely recommend Dog star services .”
