Alyson's k9 Grooming

“My dog has disliked all past groomers I have used. But at Alysons he seems to be settling well. He is with her for an hour and always comes out happy. I stay now and again with him and he’s happy with me staying or leaving him. They don’t tie him up and there’s no other dogs there so I think it’s more relaxing for him. After 3 years of going here I would now never use anyone else, just very glad i found a groomer who focuses on the care and feelings of my dog. He always looks and smells amazing too. ”

“Best groomer I've taken my dogs to. She's so caring. My dogs hate hate hate the dryers at groomers and other groomers they've been to would make them get dryed by tying them up so they had no choice but to stand there and have this force of air pointed at them. They used to come out petrified. Alyson lets me wash the dogs at home and I let them air dry the night before and then alyson just cuts them. It takes just under an hour for the 2 of them now so it's much better for them, they used to be at the last groomers from 9 till 3 or sometimes later. I Highly recommend Alyson”

“I had heard such great things about Alyson and the way she conducts her business. I was very unhappy with my groomers of the past 3 years and so I thought I would give her a try. She asked me if I wanted to stay with my little shitzu Lacey, so I did. Alyson was so lovely through the whole process. I didn't realise my little Lacey hated the dryer so much and I am mortified that my previous groomers never told me about this, it's no wonder she came out so unhappy from there everytime and she would have been tied to the table with a force of wind pelting at her. Be careful of groomers who groom behind closed doors, you don't know what goes on behind the scenes Iv certainly learnt my lesson. Anyway Alyson reassured me that everything would be ok and we can take it slowly with Lacey and it makes me feel better that I can stay with her everytime when she's being groomed. There were no other dogs there which was great as everyone gets their own appointment time. I came from Carmarthen to Gorseinon and I will do so every 5 weeks so that I know Lacey is at the best possible place. I honestly can't thank you enough and Lacey came out looking and smelling beautiful ”

“I took my cavashon and westie to Alyson for the first time today. She had been recommended to me by quite a few people. I wasn't very happy with the groomers I was with as they were always there for so long and came out traumatised every time. But with Alyson I had heard that it only takes about an hour for each dog and I was impressed with what I had heard about her letting customers stay and that she uses no restraints or cages like all other groomers do plus I don't know anyone else that let customers stay. Well all I can say is i am so glad I listened to the recommendations I was not disappointed, from the time we went in she was amazing with them. I stayed with them when being groomed and I was really impressed. My dogs normally come home from groomers and don't talk to me for the rest of the day but we left there and they were absolutely fine. Highly recommended”

“I searched for the best dog groomers that would treat my two fur babies to the high standard that I treat them as their Mammy. They're after all not just dogs! I thankfully came across Alyson's page and read how she didn't use restraints, cabinet driers and how she has incorporated fun into the establishment by putting in a ball pool. My two girls love her and have built up a wonderful bond with her as have I. Alyson let me stay and even help with their first groom and I loved it but now I enjoy seeing how relaxed Poppy and Mabel are with her which leaves me with some free time. She also trained Mabel in her puppy classes she lead and taught Mabel alot. Alyson has advised me on brushes and how to maintain the girl's long coats. I really cannot recommend her highly enough and I will never use anyone else. She runs fabulous competitions, has great prices, sends you pics of your fur babies at Christmas etc. Don't look any further than the pamper Queen Alyson who will treat your fur babies like her own for the time she has them. ”

She also grooms one to one and so your dogs are the only ones with her during the groom. She also looks the front door so you know they are safe and the door is not opened again until you return and the dogs are then put on leads before she opens the door. They also have a ball bit. I often return to collect them and alyson is playing with them sitting on the floor. I highly recommend this groomers ”
