Candy offers private sessions using training methods based on positive reinforcement - a reward-based approach designed to help you get the best results from your dog's behaviour.

By listening to your specific needs, if you are dealing with a particular behavioural problem, we can address fostering a stress-free, healthy relationship between you.

Services:

Puppy Welcome Package: We will cover everything you need to know about giving this new family member the best start in life. I will be with you every step of the way to assist and advise you, making sure you are on the right path to start your lives together.

Surviving the first few weeks can be challenging, so I will provide help and support with sleeping at night, routines, socialising, play biting, toilet training, house set up, introduction to the harness and lead, social manners and crate training.

Group Classes:  Small group classes offering basic obedience dog training skills    A fun, reward-based course where you and your dog will learn new skills for enjoyable walks, a calm dog and all the support you need going forward. Classes are held on Tuesdays in Sutton Green near Guildford.  

Private Sessions / Behavioural Issues/Obedience Training: Some dogs and their owners might prefer training alone as group sessions can sometimes be too stressful or distracting.  Or, you might want to train your dog during a time and day that better suits you and your family.

The aim is to use reward-based training, ensuring all dogs are respected and able to learn in a fun setting where their well-being is first and foremost.    With positive reinforcement, your dog will feel more able to make the right choice without feeling threatened, scared or worried.

Online Advice:  Advice can be given online via Zoom or WhatsApp FaceTime.  Please contact me for individual prices for this service.   There will be a 20 minute chat followed by a form sent to you for you to complete and return for me to look through.  (This gives me information about your dog's routine, health, lifestyle and information regarding the behaviour you'd like to change).   We can schedule a date for a Zoom consultation, and I will then be able to prepare a training plan for you to follow.  You will be able to contact me at any time if you need support with the plan and I will be checking in from time to time to find out how you are getting on, and whether I need to adjust the plan if something isn't working for you.
