I teach one to one sessions using training methods which offer positive reinforcement; a reward based way to teach YOU how to get the best from your dog.
By listening to your specific needs, if you are dealing with a particular behavioural problem, we can address the fostering of a stress free healthy relationship between you.
I truly believe a happy dog has a happy owner and a strong bond is formed.
Services:
Puppy Welcome Package - We will cover everything you'll need to know about how to give this new member of your family the best start in life. I will be with you every step of the way to assist and advise you, making sure you are on the right path to start your lives together.
Surviving the first few weeks can be challanging so I will provide help and support with the following - sleeping at night, routines, socialising, play biting, toilet training, house set up, introduction to the harness and lead, social manners and crate training.
Private Sessions / Behavioural Issues - Some dogs and their owners might prefer training alone as group sessions can sometimes be too stressful or distracting. Progression is quicker, in a 1-2-1 session, as it is easier to focus on particular sections of the course.
The aim is to use reward based training, ensuring all dogs are respected and able to learn in a fun setting where their wellbeing is first and foremost. With postive reinforcement, your dog will feel more able to make the right choice.

“Candy has offered invaluable advice and help with my puppy. She is personable and reliable and one of the best dog trainers I have met, I would recommend her to anyone wanting puppy advice because those first few weeks can be difficult if you are unsure of how to welcome your new puppy to your home.
