Terrier Rescue

Terrier Rescue is a specialist Recue for working type terriers and a part of Rescue Remedies a registered Charity We are based in Surrey and use kennels and foster care for homeless dogs and support for families and dogs while awaiting their forever owners. We take council pound dogs, and other death row dogs and give them their second chance and are looking for responsible owners will to keep their dogs on leads and under control.

We are dependent on goodwill & volunteer fosterers, donation of dog food, admin support; spreading the word in search for good homes and above all, offer a homeless dog their home for life.

We aim to give a truthful description of the dog to the best of our knowledge and assessment. All our dogs are neutered prior to adoption (exception puppies or if medically advised against). Our dogs have received at least one vaccination; are microchipped; flea and worm treated. Any health issues are investigated and treated prior to adoption where obvious e.g. most older dogs have dental work offered them. We do not discriminate against a dog on age or health. We try to help a varied representative mix of dogs but do have a terrier bias to our overall numbers.

Rescue Remedies carry over a 100 homeless dogs and home approx.450 dogs per annum.

Our running costs are paid for by our volunteers. Contributions we received pay our vet & kennel bills. We are always grateful for any contribution made to our dogs.

Any enquiries after homing a dog should be place via completion of homing questionnaire via our website. If we have a dog with very specific needs; we may be prepared to travel further afield for the right home. We are also specialists in Staffies and bullbreeds.

We are not breeders and cant magic the dog of your dreams but explore with you if with an open mind we can find your next companiona varied representative mix of dogs but do have a terrier bias to our +overall numbers.
