Animal Elves – Pet Boarding & Pet Sitter in Hersham, Surrey
At Animal Elves, both our human helpers and our elves want to make sure that your pets are looked after to the highest standard - whether this is throwing tennis balls for them consistently for an hour, tickling chins or painstakingly hunting dandelion leaves to pick for a tasty snack, we will do our best to make your pets feel at their best.We offer a range of services to try to best meet all your pet's needs and cater for as many different types as we can. We like to be as flexible as possible, to be able to fit in with you, but we also like to be responsible - that's why you won't see us pack walking with 10 dogs or overcrowding our boarding accommodation. We also like to meet all of our clients and their pets first, so you feel comfortable and happy when your pets are under our care. Although we cannot guarantee you will ever meet our magical elf partners, as they are magical and quite shy, please rest assured that you will meet our human helpers and they are just as nice.
Animal Elves are based in Hersham and we operate in most parts of Elmbridge, Spelthorne and Kingston-Upon-Thames.

Pet Boarding
When you go away there can be a lot of stress. Don't worry about your pets though, we're here to take that stress away. Picture The Ritz. Picture butlers, celebrities and silver service. OK, we admit even if our elves dressed up as celebrities, we're not quite as glamorous as The Ritz. But - we definitely treat all pets that are boarding with us with silver service and prize them as high as any celebrity!
Whether it be a radiant rabbit or a dashing dog, whilst you are away from them we want to make sure that your pet has the comfiest night's sleep they can have and our elves have teddy bears on hand to ensure this if necessary. This is followed by breakfast (which can be provided in bed if your pets are feeling particularly leisurely), then for dogs it's off on a lovely hour walk and for your little animals it's a day of sunbathing and grazing on delicious grass before an evening meal and then off to bed. Our elves are quite strict about bed time but will also provide a top quality tuck in service ensure sweet dreams.

Dog Day Care
If you're heading out for a day trip or a meeting, where unfortunately your dog cannot accompany you, then we would love to have them with us at Dog Day Care. Different to someone just popping in for a walk or feeding, one of our human helpers (as the elves can't quite manage cars) will come and pick up your dog in the morning and bring them back to their house to spend the day. As well as feeding (if needed) and plenty of fuss and attention, they will also get to go out on a lovely hour long walk to burn off some energy before curling up on a comfy bed for a nap. We will then drop your dog off back in the evening, so they are ready and waiting with wagging tails to welcome you back home again. If our elves had tails, they would be wagging too at the thought of it!

Dog Walking
Walking dogs is one of the best parts of our days, for both our human helpers and our elves. Even if it's so early in the morning our elves haven't even done their hair, once we're out on a walk watching a dog race around at top speed propelled by a wagging tail, we can't help but start our day with a smile.
So we want to make sure your dog is smiling too - you tell us whether it's an hour's walk, for those dogs that have bundles of endless energy and madly lolling tongues, or a half hour walk for those dogs who would prefer a slightly more dignified pace. If you want your dog to have an off lead walk, all we ask is that your dog is well trained at coming back when called as our elves, though great at throwing balls, are not so good at hide and seek..
