"When my children asked for a puppy I was worried as I was due to go back to work after maternity leave. Walk-a-dog was recommended by a friend, so thought I would give them a try. Our little pup is now 2 years old; Carl and the team have looked after him since he was 7 weeks old. In this time they have managed to integrate him with other dogs, exercise him daily, and have been no end of help with tips on chewing, toilet training and any other worries we had as first time dog owners. "Walk-a-dog has been looking after and walking my dog buster from October 2011, when we got him as an 11 week old pup. We started off with puppy visits twice a day until his inoculation period was past and progressed to daily walks after that. This allowed buster to become extremely well socialized with other dogs and we now have a dog who is never any issue with other dogs and only ever wants to play with any dog that comes along. Buster absolutely adores Carl and Katie and on the odd occasion I have been in the house when Walk-a-dog comes to collect buster he is so excited and pleased to see them it is unbelievable, we don’t even qualify for such a big welcome coming in from work at night. Carl and Katie are extremely helpful, reliable and very flexible if you have short notice requests just takes a small text or a phone call and they fit me right in to a very busy schedule, I am certain buster has benefited hugely from their involvement with him. Walk-a-dog are a very professional service and NOT one like it I have seen before! It allows us to have a pet dog whilst still working, as we would not have considered it otherwise. "I met Carl and Kate a few months ago when they came to my house to meet me and my Springer. I had just gone through some major life changes- new high stress job working shifts and a new house and was looking for some help with Harley as he requires lots of exercise.
