Pedigrees 'n' Pooches are a dog grooming husband and wife from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, Trevor and Vikki Pearman. They have always been animal lovers having had, as a couple, dogs and cats for well over 20 years. Currently they have 5 dogs.

Lacie, a white standard poodle bitch, a KC registered show dog and a model for creative grooming competitions.
Apache, a black standard poodle dog, kc registered show dog and model for grooming competitions.

Trevor brings his fully kitted out, self sufficient mobile salon to you.

Due to limited space, the mobile service does not offer grooming for giant breeds, nor ultra sonic teeth cleaning, or micro chipping.

Covering Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Bungay, Gt Yarmouth, Southwold, and the surrounding villages.

Trevor has been grooming for over 10 years, he and his wife opened their own business Pedigrees 'n' Pooches in 2012, starting in a log cabin, moving on to a high street salon, and in the latest step forward, relocated to work alongside a daycare for dogs. He works there part time, but is focusing on this new venture, his own mobile dog grooming service.

He has successfully competed in many grooming competitions, and has placed multiple times.
He and his wife own several dogs, including 3 standard poodles, a miniature schnauzer, and a northern inuit. 2 of the poodles have shown at crufts, and their newest edition, a white male is due to start showing when he reaches 6 months.

His love of dogs is only interrupted by his love of the water, and it is this, that brings him to the area.
He is a volunteer rescue diver for the powerboat racing at Oulton Broad, so now spends a lot of time back in the area he spent many happy summers in his younger years, staying with family.

The Grooming Process
Depending on the condition of the dog, and the required style, we may do a rough clip off pre bath. If not, they will get double bath in the correct shampoo to suit the dogs coat, skin, or health conditions. They will get as many baths as needed to ensure they are fully clean, (flea shampoo incurs an extra charge).

Next they will be towel dried, and then with a suitable dryer, they will be fully blown dried, and depending on coat type and condition, fluffed, de-matted, and de-shedded.

They will then have their ears cleaned, and if necessary plucked, and nails trimmed.

This is followed by the finishing haircut, whether it is clipped, hand scissored, or a combination of both, depends on the desired style, and finish of the dog.
