Ever since Frances was a child she has enjoyed capturing the world around her through art. Her passion for animals combined with her natural ability to depict detail was the start of a journey into the world of being an artist.

Frances is a self taught artist and has been exhibiting her work in local shows and exhibitions since she was 12 years old. She did however graduate with a National Diploma in Art and Design in 2011 after feeling she needed to pursue her art as a career. In 2014 Frances went full time as a self employed artist and works in Ipswich, Suffolk but sells  her work worldwide.



She works in a style called 'photorealism', which is highly detailed and should look close to or as real as a photograph. It is quite time consuming but very rewarding. She puts lots of effort into bringing the image to life with extra focus on the eyes...the windows to the soul. Because Frances' drawings are created by the gradual build up of layers upon layers, a rubber is only ever needed to clean any white paper at the end.

You'd need to choose the size that you'd like (there is a choice of 4 sizes, prices start from £80 with the option of having it mounted or framed).



A photograph will be needed to copy from too which can be emailed over or sent in the post.

If the drawing has a deadline then that needs to be given.

Once completed the drawing will be sent in the post for free and the invoice emailed for payment after you have received and are 100% happy with the drawing.



A 10% deposit is taken on sizes A3 and upwards.

NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR MULTIPLE ANIMALS/SUBJECTS in the drawing. Prices are for size of paper chosen not amount of animals included.

Please allow 2 - 4 weeks for your drawing to be completed depending on size.
