A small Family run business with 4 MegaPods, a Woodland Lodge and exciting Pod Hollow.

Our site, situated just four miles from the East Anglian market town of Bury St Edmunds, is home to various types of accommodation including four cosy MegaPods, a more spacious Woodland Lodge and our most recent addition: Pod Hollow, a homely, halfling-inspired subterranean dwelling.

In line with our Suffolk glamping theme, all the accommodation here at West Stow Pods, is fitted with en-suite facilities, designed with your comfort in mind. And trust us, there’s nothing quite like stepping outside your door and having Suffolk’s wonderful rural landscape stretching out before you! Suffolk Glamping at its best.

Mega Pods

Situated in privately owned woodland in picturesque Suffolk, West Stow Pods welcomes you to stay in one of our four MegaPods.

Each MegaPod is fully self-contained and is suited to sleep up to four people.

The Pods are situated about 80 feet apart in a calm woodland area, offering privacy if you are traveling as a couple or single family, but within a reasonable distance if you are glamping with a bigger group.

Woodland Lodge
Our Woodland Lodge is the ideal accommodation for those who want to get reacquainted with nature without sacrificing any modern comforts.

The Woodland Lodge is situated near a quiet country lane and in proximity to our little car park. It is a prime spot for getting out and exploring the neighbouring Suffolk countryside and all its beautiful walking, horse riding and cycling trails.

The Woodland Lodge is dog-friendly and has complimentary WiFi. Also Includes Bed Linen and towels.

Cedar Lodge
Our Cedar Lodge is a cosy cabin situated in our mature woodland. There is parking outside for ease of unloading and it sleeps two on a very comfortable sofa-bed. Duvet provided.

The Cedar Lodge has a well kitted-out kitchen complete with oven, hob and microwave. There is a mobile BBQ and decking with table and chairs.

The Cedar Lodge is dog-friendly and has complimentary WiFi.

Pod Hollow
Seek your next adventure at Pod Hollow, a homunculous-inspired subterranean dwelling.

From its rolling hills and fields, to its ancient forests and wild brambles, the Suffolk countryside is full of wonder. And what better way to experience its magic than by staying at Pod Hollow, a charming, and subterranean dwelling built into the side of a grassy knoll.

With two double bedrooms, a sitting room, kitchen and more, Pod Hollow brings together old-world charm and modern comforts in a restful and idyllic environment. It is a home fit for any of Middangeard’s hairy-footed, homunculus (a little person; or a representation of a small human being.
