High House - Dog Friendly Holidays in Beccles, Suffolk

Our pretty Suffolk house in a village setting is close to the coast. The quaint resort of Southwold just 5 miles away or the quiet beach of Covehithe, two miles distant. The pleasant market town of Beccles is seven miles away.

You will find all you need for a comfortable stay, pretty countryside around and plenty of local places to visit and lots of activities for children.

Upstairs a master bedroom with ensuite shower room and super-king bed, a second bedroom with linkable beds and a large twin room. There is a bathroom with WC and overhead shower. On the second floor - another cloakroom and two bedrooms.

Outside the enclosed lawned garden holds seating for up to ten. There is a washing line and a gate out to the green.

Dog Friendly
We welcome two dogs because we know how much pet owners appreciate being able to holiday with their dogs.

There are plenty of scenic local footpaths on which to walk your dog and local beaches are all open to dogs, mostly without any restriction.

We know that as a responsible owner you will wish to ensure that there is a holding space for wet and muddy dogs. The kitchen and utility both have doors leading in from outside the house and have washable floors. Your pet is most welcome in the lounge downstairs but please don’t leave him unattended if he is in the habit of sneaking on to the sofa!  

 Dogs are accommodated at a charge of £30 per week. We are pleased that the thoughtful and responsible behaviour of our guests' means have not needed to impose a security deposit charge for dogs..

About The Area
Just two miles from the Suffolk coast at Covehithe and five from the quaint seaside resort of Southwold,  High House is in the perfect location to enjoy a country or seaside holiday. The village of Wrentham has a village shop with part-time post office, a wine shop a clothes/general hardware shop, a children’s playground, a cafe and a pub. Another country pub is about half a mile away on the edge of the village. The village straddles the A12 but High House is quietly tucked away from the main road with a small green in front of the property. Small supermarkets and boutique shops are a short country road drive away in Southwold – a delightfully old fashioned bucket and spade resort.
