Calleron - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Queen Carmel, Somerset
We hope you love our quirky home as much as we do! Calleron is in the centre of a busy village just a few minutes drive from the A303. We offer spacious, comfortable dog friendly accommodation for 2 people and up to 2 dogs (please enquire if you have more hounds). The accommodation is over 3 levels with a spacious lounge / diner, kitchen with all the amenities, double bedroom with lots of storage and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is also a small courtyard and off street parking for 2 cars. Please note however, the front door is at the top of a flight of stone steps so is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.
Calleron is on the High Street running through the bustling village of Queen Camel where there is a convenience store, post office, a cafe and a pub serving food all within easy walking distance.
The village is ideally situated for those wanting to visit Haynes Motor Museum, The Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, Glastonbury and its Tor, the wildlife park at Cricket St Thomas, Montacute House, Stonehenge along with other attractions. Yeovil is the nearest town with a good number of supermarkets along with independent shops. Bath, Exeter and Bristol are a short drive away as is the interesting town of Sherborne with its independent shops, a castle and an abbey. Queen Camel itself has a good number of walks close by and is about an hours drive from the wonderful Jurassic Coast and the holiday town of Weymouth.
