Woodcombe Lodges and Cottages is a family business providing top quality Self Catering Holiday Cottages & lodges in Exmoor. We are a small site with only six Lodges and two cottages set in 3 acres of gardens.

Location
We are perfectly placed for a holiday in Exmoor within easy reach of Dunster with its castle and medieval Yarn Market, Watchet harbour, the picturesque villages of Selworthy and Allerford, Porlock, Porlock Weir harbour, and the attractive resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth as well as the South West Coastal Path.

The town is a 20 minute walk away through the parks while the National Park is on our boundary. The views across the valley to Grabbist Hill are superb while the walks from our door are many and varied.

Outdoors
There is a pleasant garden area set aside for the cottages adjoining the remaining 2 acres of gardens. Outdoor tables and chairs are provided for each cottage for you to enjoy the beautiful location, views and fresh air.

We accept dogs in most of our Lodges but not in the cottages.

Holly Lodge (sleeps 10)
Holly Lodge is a large self catering holiday lodge with magnificent 180 degree views running from the sea, over the valley and across the slopes of Exmoor. There are two verandas with chairs and tables to enjoy alfresco dining or just soaking up the sunshine.

The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has two king size double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, a twin bedroom (with one adjustable electric bed (extra charge) and a bunk bedded room which has an a single bed and an option further single bed available. There is a main accessible bathroom with shower over and an accessible shower wet room with shower chair. The open plan living areas is split into a kitchen and dining area and the other with comfortable seating for all and a flat screen TV and Dvd. (there is an option outside peak season to hire the Lodge without the bunk bedded room and the main bathroom- details shown under “sleeping” below)

Set in 3 acres of gardens and winner of the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last five years. It has fabulous views over the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It enjoys a good level of privacy being some 50 metres away from it’s nearest neighbour with it’s own area of lawn adjacent to the Lodge.

Pine Tree Lodge (sleeps 4)
Pine Tree Lodge is a cosy single story Lodge set in 3 acres of gardens and winner of the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last four years. It has fabulous views over the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It enjoys a good level of privacy being some 50 metres away from it’s nearest neighbour with it’s own area of lawn adjacent to the Lodge.

The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has a king size double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower over and an L shaped living room with sitting and dining areas and a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Cedar Lodge (sleeps 4)
Cedar Lodge is a cosy single story Lodge set in 3 acres of gardens and winner of the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last four years. It has fabulous views over the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It looks over a wide area of lawn and has parking adjacent to the Lodge..

The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has a king size double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower over and an L shaped living room with sitting and dining areas and a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Yew Tree Lodge (sleeps 4/5)
Yew Tree Lodge is a cosy single story Lodge set in 3 acres of gardens and winner of the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last four years. It has fabulous views over the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It overlooks a wide area of lawn and has parking for up to two vehicles adjacent to the Lodge.

The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has a king size double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower over and an L shaped living room with sitting and dining areas and a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a single bed chair in the living room for an additional guest if required.

Laburnum Lodge (sleeps 6)
Laburnum Lodge is a three bedroom single story Lodge set in 3 acres of gardens and winner of the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last four years. It has fabulous views over a wide area of lawn across to the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It enjoys a good level of privacy being set back at the end of the site.

The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has a large twin/double bedroom with en suite shower wet room with shower wheelchair, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom (not wheelchair accessible) and further bathroom with shower over. The L shaped living room has sitting and dining areas and a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher.
