Old Oaks Touring Park

“The Good Dog Guide highly recommends The Old Oaks Touring Park, after spending a fantastic weekend there. The park is set in a beautiful location with stunning views, just a 30 minute walk from the Tor. We loved our pitch it had it's own chiminea, with plenty of logs for sale on site. All the pitches are set out around large grass areas with lots of space in between for privacy, each pitch is set on gravel for parking your van with your own grass section next to it for lounging, perfectly thought out covering all options & types of weather! The facilities were spotless, large private cubicles with a toilet, basin & shower in, plenty of room to get changed & excellent hot powerful showers. Harvey Hound loved the large doggy exercise run, it is completely enclosed with poo bins each end, there was even a hand sanitiser, warm dog shower & separate machines to use for your doggy towels, blankets & beds, WOW they really have thought of everything! On arrival we were given a doggy information leaflet on places to go, walks & things for us & Harvey Hound to enjoy together. The town of Glastonbury is also very dog friendly, we were welcomed in to the shops, Harvey Hound in tow, the pubs & restaurants accepted us all too & there was always a water bowl on offer. If you are planning a trip to Glastonbury then The Old Oaks Touring Park is an excellent place to stay, one of our top 5 favourites in the whole of the UK.
