School Farm Holidays - Dog Friendly Glamping in Shrewsbury, Shropshire

We are a small family run site offering unique luxury one and two bedroomed glamping pods and four bedroomed cabin surrounded by the glorious Shropshire countryside. Each unit has a private patio and seating area with stunning views and peace and quiet. Feel free to walk in the fields, pick fruit in the orchard and picnic by the brook. We have a new Nature Trail Eye Spy for the children, Walks from the doorstep and games room for rainy days. Plenty of on site Parking.

Centrally located in the UK in Shropshire’s AONB we are ideally placed to relax and reconnect or visit local attractions such as Ironbridge, Blists Hill, Attingham Park and Wroxeter Wroman City.  Less than a hours drive from Birmingham and 25 minutes off the M54 and yet a world apart.

Owl Pod (sleeps 3)
Open Planned with a comfy KingSized bed and couples hot tub outside this is the perfect pod to get away from it all and chill out with your loved one. Facilities include:-
Kingsize bed (with option of futon for extra guest if needs be)
comfy sofa - wall mounted TV
Ensuite bathroom with large walk in shower - Small dining table with 2 chairs. Fully equipped kitchen
Privately situated at the top of the site and not over-looked by any other pods with the opportunity to park in the top car park right next door.

Squirrel Pod (sleeps 4)
Squirrel Pod has 2 bedrooms which can be made up either with 2 small double beds or one double and one twin. Ideal for two couples away together with their own private space, or one couple or a family who welcome the two separate bedrooms. The pod has a large dining table with four chairs plus comfy seats for watching TV and relaxing.
The bathroom has a large walk in shower. Wake up to watch the sun rise over the Wrekin without having to step foot out of your pod – Spectacular

Hedgehog Pod (sleeps 4)
Hedgehog Pod is at the North end of the site and has spectacular views across to The Wrekin.

Facilitys include:-
One large double bedroom with Single day bed
Sleeping for up to 4 using bed setee in living area or 2 single beds made up in bedroom Plus standard full sized double bed - please state preference when booking
The pod has a small dining table with two chairs and an additional two folding chairs if you choose to share or entertain.
The bathroom has a bath with powerful overhead shower.

Rabbit Pod (sleeps 4)
Rabbit Pod is ideally suited to a family.

Facilities include:-
2 bedrooms, one with a small double bed and the other with two single beds.
The living room has a dining table with dining chairs as well as a small sofa and tub chair for watching TV and relaxing.
The bathroom has a bath with powerful overhead shower.
This pod looks out towards the Welsh hills with our gorgeous half timbered church in front.

Stag Cabin (sleeps 9)

Facilities include:-
Double bed with single bed over-head) and one zip link (please state whether you would like made up as king or 2 single beds). One bathroom (with overhead shower) and one shower room.

Spacious and sociable kitchen / Dining / Living area for all the family and friends to spend quality time together. The kitchen is top of the range and has a huge quartz work surface and breakfast bar, dishwasher, two undercounter fridge/freezers, built in electric cooker and large gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. All crockery, pots, pans and utensils provided to make this a fully functional kitchen. Fully centrally heated with unlimited hot water this timber clad building is stylishly decorated to make this a memorable and cosy vacation.

The Cabin has unlimited high speed fibre wifi and ample lights and sockets for everyone. There are plenty of grass and paved private areas outside the cabin to relax and take in the views

Things to do
School Farm Holidays is set on a small 60 acre farm in the centre of Sheinton, a small rural village in Shropshire. The name Sheinton comes from the Saxon “Shena-tun” meaning beautiful place.

Sheinton Church of St Peter and St Paul, opposite the farm, dates back to Norman times and boats a half timbered bell tower and entrance porch. It was partly re-built in 1660s and thoroughly restored in 1854.

With the farm set up above the hamlet be prepared for the far reaching 180 degree views and huge sky where with minimal light pollution you will never be far from amazing sun rises, sunsets and starry skies. Around 40 acres of the farm is used for sheep grazing. The remaining land includes a 4 acre orchard and 16 acre pasture with beautiful brook at the bottom, where guests are encouraged to roam and discover the huge array of bird, animal and insect life.

The land is not over grazed to allow the wildlife to flourish and the wild deer to graze freely. Make use of the deer hides to spot and photograph the wildlife as it appears. We have a small herd of pygmy goats who are great characters and enjoy talking to the guests more than doing their job keeping the brambles at bay. On rainy days feel free to use our communal games room to play table tennis, pool or just relax with like minded guests.
