Lower Hill Campsite - Dog Friendly Campsite in Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Lower Hill Farm is a family business nestling amongst the woods at the foot of Wenlock Edge. The farm covers 230 acres of the beautiful and unspoilt county of Shropshire.

We offer pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents.

Or there is opportunity to stay in one of our fully equipped Roundhouses (sleeps 4) or Apedale View (sleeps 2). The Shepherd’s hut (sleeps 3) is suitable for that “basic get away from it all” with glorious views of the Wrekin.

For the lovers of the outdoors, The Bullrush has a fire pit, picnic bench and small gas BBQ which enables you to enjoy being by the poolside, morning, noon and night

For that special occasion our lodges with wood fired hot tubs, sleeps 4.

Our Shacks all sleep 4 people (double and bunk beds) and have the option of individual wood fired hot tubs.

An onsite Honesty shop stocks essentials for your holiday. Plus, a recent addition is the wood fired pizza oven set in its own hut. Complementary Wi-Fi is available in all glamping units and camping pitches.

Located just ten minutes drive from the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge and twenty minutes drive from historic Shrewsbury, Lower Hill Campsite is an ideal location from which to explore Shropshire.

An excellent shopping centre with all the big brand names is close by at Telford.

Caravans and Tents
Our pitches are terraced on the hill side, so everyone can enjoy the panoramic views. Access to the field is both at the top or the bottom. We are always available to help out, just follow the instructions on the signs please, we are always available to call or text.

Electric is available on most pitches.

We allow off the ground fire pits, and have some available to hire. Logs and starting kits can be purchased from the on site Honesty shop, as can BBQ meats.

Free WiFi is available.
