At The Tontine, we know that dogs are man’s best friend.  We have put together the ‘purfect’ dog friendly hotel package so you can bring your pooch along to the Tontine Hotel for a nice little holiday that’s bound to get those tails wagging!

Our Riverside lodge bedrooms, many of which have recently been refurbished, are dog friendly. If requested, we will provide a cosy dog blanket, bowl for fresh water, and a doggy treat too so you can trust that, this holiday, you’ll have one pampered pooch.

Your dog isn’t confined to the bedroom at The Tontine Hotel either. You and your dog are welcome to come and relax, eat, and drink in our hotel bar, bistro or garden.

The surrounding Peebles countryside has the most scenic walks and we will happily provide you with maps and more information so you and your furry friend can get out and explore the beautiful Tweed Valley, before retiring back to the Tontine Hotel for a well-earned local beer, wine, and bowl of water for your thirsty pooch.

Rooms
All of our 36 en-suite bedrooms feature new super-comfortable Hypnos beds and are fitted with a flat screen television, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, and a welcoming tea and coffee tray. Cots, highchairs, irons, and boards are available by prior arrangement and there is car parking, on-site, free to residents.   Secure, high-speed WiFi is available throughout the hotel free of charge to all residents. We are proud to use only the very best, freshest, locally sourced produce throughout our menus. Our head chef, Alex, and his team work closely with a range of local suppliers to create delicious seasonal menus reflecting the abundance of excellent produce available in and around the Scottish Borders.
