Ty Coch
Ty Coch (Red Cottage) is a recently restored barn where we’ve kept many features such as thick walls, beams, slate window sills & slate tiled floors to keep the cottage ambience but with modern facilities.

Originally a long single storey outbuilding & it is the first property you’ll see on arrival once you drive along our farm lane. Sleeping 7 + our travel cot, we added a dorma bedroom upstairs which is now the master King Bedroom with it’s own shower room right next door. On the higher end of the ground floor here is a double bedroom next to the main family sized bathroom with a bath & separate large shower cubicle, toilet & vanity sink unit. A Triple Single Bedroom is located at the far end of the hall. This room can become an extra family room with 2 beds pushed together. All the bedrooms will be freshly made up to your requirements including bath towels & hand towels in all wash rooms. The bedrooms & stairs are carpeted therefore pets not allowed in these rooms, there is a stair gate provided.

The back enclosed garden is accessible via the back door of the cottage & has a lawn area, BBQ patio area with rustic dining furniture. The washing line & recycling/storage shed are at top end of the garden out of the way & you can also exit the garden here onto the footpath.

There is parking for 2 cars on the brick pavia drive at the front of the cottage which has open grassy areas each side of it. This is the area you will see first on arrival.

Ty Gwyrdd
Ty Gwyrdd (Green Cottage) was sympathetically renovated in 2010 from an outbuilding & has been used as a holiday let since this time. The cottage itself is furnished to a good standard throughout making it comfortable for couples or families. Visit Wales have rated it 4 Star.

It sleeps 5/6 people + travel cot in 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, some on ground floor for ease of access.

There is parking for 2 cars right beside the cottage & a private enclosed garden which is ideal for bird watching or just relaxing & enjoying the spectacular sunsets & views whilst having a barbeque on the patio area. The garden is child & pet friendly adjoining 1 of our fields, often home to sheep or ponies.

Outside the conservatory is the patio area which has rustic furniture. A newly constructed garage now houses the recycling bins, BBQ, swing ball & other beach toys, kids surf boards, sun parasol, beach windbreak. It’s also good for storage of large items & drying out wetsuits.

Location
Plas Drygarn Holiday Cottages are located near Crymych, a small town in North Pembrokeshire. Both our cottages were originally farm outbuildings & they nestle in the lower yard of our small holding well off the main road. Ty Gwyrdd (the green cottage) was renovated by my husband’s building team in 2010 & Ty Coch (the red cottage) started letting from October 2021. They can be let together for larger family groups. Our own Farmhouse is at a higher level along the same lane allowing us all some privacy in this beautiful secluded location with Foel Drygarn in the back ground.

Our Animals
During your stay we can arrange a tour of our chickens, peacocks, dogs, horses & sheep. Little tour & egg collecting by arrangement

Reviews

“We have visited this cottage twice. We have an elderly family member who suffers with mobility problems, a Labrador & us two in our party. The downstairs amenities, bedroom & bathroom are essential, the mobility seat in the shower is an added bonus. The cottage is very well equipped and there isn’t anything we’ve needed that wasn’t there. It’s clean, homely & inviting. There was a welcome tray waiting with eggs & welsh cakes. It’s peaceful & the views are beautiful. For us it ticks all the boxes. Liz takes great pride in offering a warm welcome as well as advice & information on all manner of things. We have stayed in many cottages over a number of years and feel confident in giving this one full marks/stars. Guy and family”
