Beach View Cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire

Beach View Cottages enjoy stunning views of St Bride’s Bay and Broad Haven’s Blue Flag beach. Both getaways are just a short stroll along the village’s wonderful sandy beach to the sea-front shops, coffee bar, pub, restaurants and water-sports hire shop. Whilst the cottages offer the perfect opportunity to just kick off your shoes, relax and watch the world go by they are also ideally located for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, exploring the tiny city of St Davids, enjoying the many thrills of seaside activities or visiting the RSPB sanctuary on Skomer Island. 

Stroll along the beach at low tide to picturesque Little Haven that offers a choice of excellent dining in the pubs clustered around the harbour. Perfect all-year-round getaways as each cottage is completely self-contained.

Bay View Cottage (sleeps 6)
Whether it’s morning coffee on the decking, afternoon tea in the huge kitchen diner with its floor to ceiling sliding doors, an afternoon nap in the living room or a sundowner in the hot tub after a busy day walking the Coastal Path, the ever-changing and breath-taking views of the beach and St Bride’s Bay are always present.

The generous open-plan kitchen diner is well equipped with everything you need to cook family meals. If something is missing just let us know and we will try and provide it in time for your next visit. There is however a good range of dining options in the vicinity if you don’t want to cook. Fish and chips and a bottle of wine on the beach is a great favourite of ours. The comfy seating area is the perfect spot for an early morning cuppa.

Beach View (sleeps 2)
Charming and well designed, Beach View is comfortable and contemporary. From the well equipped kitchen with soaring double height ceiling three steps lead down to an open-plan dining room/lounge with large patio doors affording breath-taking views of Broad Haven’s Blue Flag beach and St Brides Bay. Dine al fresco or enjoy a sundowner on the patio and watch the sky set afire as the sun slowly sinks.

Open-tread stairs lead from the kitchen to the bedroom and contemporary en suite shower room set behind a wall of opaque sea-coloured glass. Broad Haven has little ambient light at night so our starry skies take a lot of beating. With the bed set under the huge roof windows you almost feel as if you are sleeping out under the stars. We also have blackout blinds for those that want a leisurely lie in. Wake to spectacular views out over the bay as you sip your morning cuppa.
