Hello, my name is Lesley Dore, and I have been a dog lover all my life. I am a professional dog groomer with a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification, and I am in the process of gaining a diploma. I have a lovely grooming parlour, a quiet environment dedicated to grooming dogs. It is fully equipped with all the necessary tools, with space and comforts to groom dogs safely and as stress free as possible.  

My desire is to make you, the owner, happy and to make your dog feel happy and comfortable too, as well as to look great!

Different hair types require differing maintenance techniques and styling requirements. All this would be discussed with you at your first appointment, along with how you would like your dog to look afterwards. I like to work in partnership with you and your dog.

I work on my own which is great as there are none of the distractions that come with other dogs being groomed by other groomers.

I can accommodate multiple dogs from one household, but I mainly work on a one household to one basis. However, if necessary, with prior notice, I can keep a dog for a little while before, or after, his/her groom appointment.

I am trained in dog first aid, and have it regularly updated. I am also fully insured  as well as being  registered with the British Isles Grooming Association (BIGA).

General Grooming
The final price may vary depending on factors such as size, temperament, and coat condition and style requested. So, it is difficult to quote without talking to you and seeing your dog in person. Puppy Introductions
These are giving a puppy a gentle introduction to being groomed. Some breeds will need regular grooming sessions all their lives and the younger they are introduced to it the more easily they get use to and accept the techniques and equipment. It just becomes part of their lives. If the first introduction is when they are older, and in desperate need to be groomed, the procedures can be quite alien. Some dogs will find it distressing and may never be totally at ease with the grooming processes. Puppy introductions are thoroughly recommended. They can start as soon after their vaccinations allows them to go out and mix.

Teeth Cleaning
