Home Boarding
(Licence No 097701), and am proud to have been awarded the highest-grade Licence in 2019, when new Animal Welfare Licencing Laws were introduced by DEFRA, B’s Wings Pet Services is licenced to board four guest dogs. I have a variety of qualifications and years of experience and am experienced in medicine administration, including insulin injections. I continue to take courses to increase my knowledge in the care of animals.

Home boarding is considered less stressful than Kennels, as the dog is in a domestic environment with a lesser number of dogs around it. Dogs stay in my home as part of the family, along with my three dogs. Their stay is tailored to their needs, our aim is to give them as good a holiday as you are having! They will go on many and varied walks, as much as their fitness allows. They can play in the fully enclosed and secure garden and sleep on the sofa, or any of the dog beds scattered around the house.

You are invited to bring your dog’s own bed, but invariably they will use one of our beds, and Tucker our Westie will definitely sleep in theirs! We have a variety of toys for all to play with to provide enrichment, including Snuffle Mats etc. for rainy days.If they need some space, they are welcome to take themselves off to one of the bedrooms for ‘quiet time.’ They will have an individual Care Plan, which will be discussed with you at the first meeting and will detail their feeding and exercise regime and any medical requirements.

Dog Walking
Our walks are more of an adventure than just a walk. We walk dogs in groups of two to six, and always aim to take them to exciting places where they can run, play, paddle, swim and explore. This helps to maximise your dog’s mental stimulation and happiness. It is up to the owner whether dogs are allowed offlead, but it is great for dogs to be able to run with their mates!

We provide treats, water, poo bags, tennis balls and other toys to make your dog’s walk more exciting. Dogs are assessed before being taken on Group walks to determine suitability, and which dogs will enjoy walking with which other dogs. Solo walks are also available for those dogs who are elderly, disabled or just don’t like other dogs.

You will be sent photos and videos to keep you informed and put your mind at rest that your dog is having a great time. If we feel it is too hot or too cold for your dog to walk for their allotted time, the walk will be reduced accordingly. We will do our best to return your dog clean, but as we go on adventures and dogs love to play in water and mud it is to be expected that they will get dirty.

Reviews

“I love my Aunty B. Whenever my mom and dad go on holiday, I do too and have a fantastic time with Aunty's B and all the other dogs. She takes very good care of us all, with lots of cuddles, treats, tummy rubs and exciting adventures every day. She sends my my mom and dad videos and photos of our adventures every day so they don't worry about me. Thornton age 11. Ps. My mom said Bridget is brilliant with all dogs, has an great understanding of dog behaviour and she wouldn't trust anyone else with me as I'm a grumpy old man, but I don't know what she's on about as I'm a very good boy.”

“Few weeks ago I was on a rush to travel and our puppy was just 3 months. The idea to leave him with someone strange completely terrified me. Bridget was recommended by a friend and she was absolutely amazing. All my concerns disappear when I drop out puppy before leave. Every single day she sent us text message and pictures about his progress! And I was so happy to see that he was having a wonderful time! I definitely will leave him again with her! Her care about animals is something beautiful!! Thank you xxx”
