Established in 1998, and now part of the Travel Chapter family, Coquet Cottages is a holiday letting agency with a collection of over 140 luxury holiday properties in Northumberland.

Coast and countryside, all of our cottages are centrally placed for exploring the whole of Northumberland, including the Heritage Coast, the Cheviot Hills and Coquet Valley, the Borders and the National Park, as well as Newcastle and Gateshead.

 Established for 25 years, our reputation has been built on providing exceptionally high quality, immaculately clean and luxurious self-catering cottages to create holidays that are truly memorable. We know how important it is for your accommodation to be perfect – otherwise how can you possibly have a good holiday? We pay great attention to detail and provide many special touches that you won’t find in the majority of self-catering cottages.

Dogs
We also pride ourselves and have an excellent reputation for welcoming dogs to our luxury holiday homes! We believe you shouldn’t compromise on quality just because you have a dog.  We want our luxury holiday cottages to stay that way, so we do have house rules for dogs including not allowing them on the furniture, but if your own home is respected then we welcome you and your dog to respect ours in the same way.
Our properties are extremely well-maintained, each having either its own dedicated housekeeper or housekeeping team, or lovingly cared for by its owner. The majority of our staff and our owners have been with us for many years and every one of them takes great pride in the cleanliness and presentation of their cottage, with their aim being for you to have a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Dog Sitting
We don’t permit dogs to be left unattended in our cottages but we do offer a personal dog-sitting service where your dog can be looked after in the cottage for anything from a few hours to all day – however long you need to visit those places where they can’t go, such as stately homes and castles, or perhaps to dine out at a local restaurant.
Our dog sitters are usually our staff and have a life-time experience of caring for dogs. We can walk dogs if you would like although we have a strict policy of not letting them off the lead and we will not walk them close to other dogs.
