A coaching inn built in 1594, The Falcon Hotel has been thoughtfully restored and reintroduced into the rural Northamptonshire countryside as a hotel, restaurant and wellbeing retreat for those in need of rest and renewal.
Our Bedrooms
Each bedroom embodies and connects you to the restorative elements of the surrounding countryside. An abundance of natural materials – stone, wood, leather, wool – are found in an array of fabrics and textures that cocoon and comfort for a restful stay.
There are eight rooms in the main building, keeping you close to all the hotel’s key amenities. Rooms include double and deluxe options, as well as an accessible and dog-friendly room on the ground floor.
Dine & Refresh
We offer a variety of food and drink experiences here at The Falcon, from signature fine dining at our award-winning restaurant Eyas for lunch and dinner, to bar food, afternoon teas and casual drinks in the East Wing Lounge.
Eyas Restaurant - Respecting the local landscape and the abundance it provides, acclaimed Head Chef Russell Bateman and his team work hand-in-hand with local farmers, estate gamekeepers and nurseries, wherever possible, to create menus that showcase produce grown, harvested and reared from within the 10,500 acre Castle Ashby Estate.
East Wing Lounge & Bar - With wonderful views of the gardens and rolling countryside beyond, the East Wing Lounge is a place to enjoy afternoon tea, cocktails and light bites.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing is central to everything we do. Find some time for connection to self, the local community and surrounding countryside through our range of yoga and fitness classes, nature walks and open water swimming.
Castle Ashby Gardens
The renowned Castle Ashby Gardens were designed by Capability Brown, who is remembered as “the last of the great English 18th-century artists to be accorded his due” and “England’s greatest gardener”. The gardens feature an impressive Arboretum, formal Italian gardens and a menagerie with rabbits, monkeys and meerkats.
