The Old Chequers - Dog-Friendly Accommodation in South Creake, Norfolk

The Old Chequers is a luxury holiday home with a large kitchen and gorgeous garden, offering group holiday accommodation for up to 14 guests. The hot tub in the corner of the walled garden fits up to 8 people at a time, and is definitely a guest favourite. We've recently renovated and added a full games room with a pool table and arcade games, as well as a dedicated working space. Both the garden deck and courtyard have outdoor furniture and are great spaces for entertainment and al fresco dining. This home is perfect for group stays, family vacations and celebrations. We often welcome pets in our home, having a great outdoor space for them to enjoy along with guests.

Indoor
You will find the living spaces expertly divided into a TV room, a lounge with a log burner and comfy couches and a sunroom conservatory that opens up to the flintstone walled garden. The home has six spacious bedrooms with king-size beds, each with its own en suite and modern luxuries like Bluetooth speakers. The kitchen has all the appliances and equipment of a permanent residence and more, including a KitchenAid and Nespresso coffee machine. 

Amenities
Hot tub, indoor heating, al fresco dining, spacious garden with room for kids to run around, modern kitchen and fun in the games room! We aim to make our guests feel at home and have taken care to add all the things we often need while on holiday. Having three young kids of our own, we have ensured that the house is family-friendly and have provided a high chair, cot, and children’s books for guests to use during their stay. You have the option for outside dining, either on the deck in the garden or in the courtyard, which are both lit up by fairy lights at night. There is a fire pit in the courtyard and a BBQ weber in the garden. 

Things to do in Norfolk
The Old Chequers is in close proximity to the North Norfolk coast, and we highly recommend making the short drive to the popular coastal towns of Wells-next-the-Sea and Burnham Market (only 10 minutes away). There are various historical sites and nature conservation areas to visit in the Norfolk area. The village of South Creake, where The Old Chequers is located, is quaint and family-friendly. There is a children's play area and tennis courts just down the road. The local gastropub, The Ostrich Inn, is very popular and serves a good meal.
