DogBasics offers dog training and a home boarding service in Ovington, Norfolk, IP25 6RZ.

In DogBasics care your dog will get:
No kennels (the dogs stay in the house with me)
Home environment
Lots of one to one attention (max 4 dogs in the house at any one time)
Attendance in weekly dog training classes with all the socialising that entails
Relaxation (the dogs will need their rest after all the work!)
Any food regime (you supply the food)
Lots of fun, cuddles and TLC!

About our home boarding
When you go away, give your dog a holiday too. Your dog will live in the house with me and will get walks, fun exercises, play, relaxation sessions and lots of TLC. The dogs are never left unsupervised, even at night (I always sleep in the room with them).

I'm sorry but I will NOT accept entire (unneutered) dogs, that are over 1 year old. Puppies are more than welcome. This is a decision I've taken after having difficulties with entire dogs in the past, but it is also a rule under my council licence.

I can take dogs with certain problem behaviours, but for obvious reasons I can't help board a dog with dog-dog aggression. This is however something I can help you with in a private training session. 

I can deal with dogs with separation anxiety and boredome chewers, because I'm with the dogs at all times, including night time.

About the training
I offer both private training sessions and group lessons. All my training is Pay As You Go, so you only pay for the lessons you actually attend. The group lessons on offer are Basic Obedience (also suitable for puppies), Advanced Obedience, Walking on Lead lessons, Recall lessons, Search & Track lessons and socialising sessions. The lessons are reward based and built on learning dog language and dog psychology, so you can understand your dog better. Socialising between the dogs is so important, that there will be off lead play during the Basic Obedience lessons. 

About the free dog walking group
Every week I send out a weekly walk schedule on WhatsApp, offering at least one walk per day, that you and your dog or anyone who is ok around dogs (you don't need to have a dog to join us) can join and let their dogs run and play during the walk, while the humans have a chat. The walks are offered mainly in the Breckland Council area. It doesn't cost anything to join our group, but your dog should be ok around other dogs. If your dog has any issues with other dogs, contact me and I can put up a lead only walk, where anitisocial dogs can join.
