Earlham Park is large open park on the edge of Norwich close to the university. There is a small free car park just off University Drive. Probably the best thing about Earlham Park is the dog friendly cafe (closed Monday and Thursday) where lots of dog walkers meet to chat and have a coffee or cooked breakfast. There are even dog treats on sale in the cafe.
The River Yare runs along one side of the park and the section of river just south of the road bridge is safe for human and doggy paddling alike! There is lots of open space for running around and ball games as well as riverside paths that lead to the university and University Broad.
