Weybourne Forest Lodges - Dog Friendly Lodges in Holt, Norfolk

Weybourne Forest Lodges is a unique development of self-catering timber lodges surrounded by lush pine forests. The lodges are set in a forest glade, well spaced apart and away from any roads. We are so well hidden even some local people are surprised when they come across us!

We have over 100 acres of our own forest and this leads into another 100 acres of National Trust forest, which adjoins Sheringham Park.

We are 5 minutes drive from the coast at Weybourne (1 ½ miles as the crow flies). Just below us the North Norfolk Railway (Poppy line) runs between Holt and Sheringham. This famous steam railway is often used in films and television and is one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the British Isles.

You can walk from Weybourne Forest Lodges into Sheringham without seeing another house, through the woods and along the cliffs. The forest is unspoilt and abundant with wildlife. It is our aim to protect and encourage wildlife and we have planted hedges and shrubs to attract birds and butterflies, other insects and animals.

Well-behaved dogs and responsible owners are very welcome here (maximum 2 dogs per lodge). The walks are simply wonderful and no dog has ever been disappointed!

Squirrel Lodges No9
These are beautiful Scandinavian style A-frames, built to a high standard and fully equipped for holidays all the year round.  Each lodge has three bedrooms and will comfortably sleep six plus a baby or small child. The main double bedroom is downstairs with an en suite shower room and there are two bedrooms upstairs with two single beds in each. There is a large ground floor bathroom with walk in shower, toilet and basin. The sitting/dining area is open plan and fully equipped for your stay. The kitchen area is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, etc.

The lodges are extremely well insulated, with double-glazing and are warm and comfortable in cold weather. Heating is electric throughout. Each lodge has a front balcony with a gate (safe for children and dogs).

Chestnut Lodge
This is a comfortable double glazed park home with full gas central heating. Chestnut Lodge sleeps five, and there are three bedrooms; one with a double bed, one with two single beds and a third very tiny bedroom with a 2'6" wide bed.

There is an L-shaped living/dining area with TV etc. The large kitchen area is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, fridge etc. Modernised bathroom with full sized bath and shower.

Outside there is a large L-shaped gated balcony (safe for children and dogs).

Acorns
Acorns is a cosy single storey pine chalet tucked away in a quiet corner, which sleeps two plus baby or small child. This chalet has one bedroom with a king-size bed.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with full size cooker, microwave and fridge. There is a comfortable living room with TV etc. The bathroom has a bath with shower. The chalet has full gas central heating.

Running along the front of the lodge is a gated balcony, safe for dogs and children.

Hawthorns
Hawthorns is a delightful single-storey lodge overlooking the pony paddock. Outside is an enclosed decked area for sitting. Inside is a living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceiling.

1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, twin bedroom and shower room. (sleeps 4 + cot).
Also benefits from a 4k TV and Netflix.
