Ruff Dog Training & Welfare was born in January 2018 and is run by Holley, a passionate dog trainer located in the NR29 area of beautiful Norfolk. Holley’s desire for providing care for animals began in 2014; she has over 16 years experience and this will only continue to grow. With working backgrounds consisting of RSPCA, Dogs Trust and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Holley has had a variety of experience with canines from all walks of life. This includes her ability to coach and mentor people into understand
their dog for the better.

Puppy Training
(Services ideal for Puppies 6 months and under)

Holley at Ruff Dog Training believes that the first twelve months of a dog’s life are an investment in their future happiness. Holley is a puppy expert and will help you feel at ease whether it’s your first time learning the basics or if you would like to refresh you existing skills, Holley is determined to help you reach your training goals!​

There's also no need to wait to start training your puppy because your puppy begins learning the moment they come home in the car with you! Training should start as young as possible.

Ruff offers a range of services to help you give your puppy the best possible start in life whether this be a class environment or a 1-2-1 session. Sessions can be tailor made, therefore if you are unsure what may be best for you and your puppy, please get in touch so Holley can advise you further.

Adults & Oldies
Adult and old dogs need just as much enrichment as young dogs, they also may need special care, or experience changes to their body and behaviour. Ruff can help with a variety of training services.

Make sure your dog is happy, comfortable and stimulated so that you can enjoy the perfect companion.

Behaviour Consultation & 1 to 1 Training
One to one appointments in your home or outdoors area with a highly experienced dog trainer. Training will start with an initial consultation to discuss and observe you and your dog's current situation and needs. ​

At Ruff - Dog Training, you will have a dog trainer who is understanding and supportive alongside having experience with families with children and experience with families that may have learning difficulties or assistance dog requirements.

Training Classes
Training 101 - Dog training classes tackling all your essential needs such as; recall, clicker training, lead walking and more.
Scent Work - Enrich your dog by giving them a job to do. Unlock the true potential of the gift that is their nose!
Fun Agility - A way to engage with your dog in an outdoor environment. Agility teaches focus whilst having fun.
Walk Nicely! - Teach your dog to walk nicely in the right equipment, learn techniques for less pulling on lead.
Recall Top Up - Whether you are new to recall or have done training before - learn the skills you need to get your dog to come back when called.
