There’s something for every family member in East Norfolk, including the furry ones. With more coast and countryside walks than you can shake a chasing stick at, they’ll definitely be tired out and ready for a nap!

The Sea Palling circular walking route is one of our personal recommendations. As well as taking far-reaching views of the Broads, you’ll pass Eccles-Juxta-Mare — a medieval village that was lost to coastal erosion in the 16th century. For a quick refreshment afterwards, we’d recommend calling in at the dog-friendly Reefs Bar. Their Sunday carvery is to die for!

Our furry friends make family getaways at Waxham Sands so special, so don't forget to bring them along.
