Hindringham Hall Gardens and Holiday cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Fakenham, Norfolk
Hindringham Hall is the most delicious little moated manor house straight out of a story book with its medieval moat and fishponds, working walled vegetable garden, formal and informal borders wrapped around a brick and flint Tudor Hall.
The current owners have developed the gardens over the past 30 years.
Make time to walk round the medieval fishponds and take tea in the Café beside the moat, smell the roses, watch the swans, listen to the birdsong and enjoy the peace and beauty of this special place.
N.B. The gardens are open to the public twice a week and free to residents but please note that dogs are not allowed in the gardens.
Holiday Cottages
In an area of outstanding beauty and one of the most popular areas of North Norfolk, the holiday cottages lie within the beautiful, peaceful grounds of Hindringham Hall. Ideally situated to access all that Norfolk has to offer. The cottage is equidistant from Blakeney, Holt, Wells-next-the-Sea, and the beaches and salt marshes of the North Norfolk Coast are just 4 miles away. We also have a tennis court in the grounds.
Banes Cottage (sleeps 4)
Facing south, the cottage is surrounded by unfenced lawns and lies within the grounds of Hindringham Hall, with country views from all windows. Enter into a delightful Brookman country-style kitchen, complete with with butlers sink and kitchen table and walk through to the comfortable sitting room with coal fire, sofa and armchairs.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom and twin bedded room, with en-suite shower room. To the side of the cottage is the scullery with recliners, barbecue, washing machine, etc. – and just beyond the garden is a hard tennis court available for visitors to play on.
There is a footpath running close to the cottage where visitors can walk their pets and local beaches are pet friendly.
