“Highly recommend Pack Holidays, truly dog friendly. We have stayed in 3 different holiday homes, so far, with our 4th & 5th booked already. Never been disappointed. Gail is so helpful, holiday homes always clean & set up for your dogs stay. Thank you for taking the stress away when holidaying with our pack of 6.”

“I stayed at Ollands Farm Barn in Happisburgh With ten toy poodles- the barn is lovely and has two lovely gardens to relax in . Also a lovely large doggie field to use . My dogs loved the freedom to run about and explore the field . The owners live next door and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful- they’ll answer any questions about the area etc and they were genuinely lovely with my yappy poodles ???? The area is beautiful, unspoiled and super dog friendly It really felt like I had a beautiful, relaxing holiday And would certainly recommend it ”

“We have just returned from a very relaxing few days spent at The Milking Parlour in Honing. The location for my reactive dog was ideal, quiet and tranquil with very little passing traffic. We loved the garden never having to worry about our dog escaping!! The cottage was lovely with everything you could ask for (including doggy beds). A true home from home. There is a great secure field 10 minutes away which we used twice and loved the walk at Bacton Woods (we didn’t see anybody). A perfect holiday for us and our anxious pup.”
- Jane Gadd
“Returned home from a lovely little break at The Coach House, a clean, comfortable and suitably equipped cottage with small courtyard for the dogs. Found Saddlers Wood, a fabulous wood only a mile away and the free Secure Dog Park area at Skate Park. Well done council, 6ft fence, air-lock gate and even the chicken wire protection for the tiny dogs. This was our second visit to The Coach House that is well-positioned for the town market, shops and there is good basic and affordable meals at the Bluebell pub. Visited Cart Gap and Bacton beach, ideal for the dogs. Then we visited Cromer, only a few miles away for a shopping fix and Bacton Woods to satisfy the dogs. A good affordable cottage, though the garden is limited with the over-grown shrubs and no grass. Thank you Gail for you dog-friendly and caring Pack Holiday service ”
- Helen Taylor
“First time in Norfolk and we loved it! Just spent a wonderful week at Herring house. Great location and lovely house, we especially loved chilling out in the large upstairs lounge after a day out with the fur babies. Both hoomans and doggies loved the never ending nearby beach and took long walks in the sand dunes. The village fish & chip shop and pub were close by and both served delicious food. We would recommend visiting Holkham beach and also Wells Next The Sea. Everywhere and everyone is so dog friendly and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you”
- Maribel, Mark, Polly & Bella
“We have just come back from a fantastic week at Poets Corner in Mundesley. The cottage is superb, really clean and spacious, excellent parking and really well equipped for both dogs and humans! Best of all is the location right in the heart of the village and only a 10 minute walk to probably our favourite beach in Norfolk. Luca, our 10 month old Labrador just loved Mundesley beach, as well as the garden at Poets Corner, which is huge. We will definitely stay again as it is one the best truly dog friendly cottages we have rented.”
- Adrian Osborne
“Just got back from my second stay with Pack Holidays, the whole experience was 5* from booking to coming home. Everything is so dog friendly with loads of throws for the furniture, dog treats on arrival, water bowls and towels plus a nice little welcome pack for me. There was tea & coffee with milk and sugar if I needed it. No charge for the dogs either and Cosy Corner had everything I needed all on one level. The garden is lovely and I'm sure that if the weather had been warmer I would have been sitting out in it while the dogs mooched about. I don't want to be too enthusiastic as I want to be able to book for next year LOL ”
- Paula Kingswood
“We’ve had a wonderful Christmas week at Echoes in Sea Palling, Norfolk (courtesy of Pack Holidays) , 7 humans including one 4 year old and 8 dogs. We really didn’t want to leave! If you have multiple dogs and are normally stuck for finding nice places, go no further. Gail is very nice and answered our queries super quickly. They were very flexible to allow us more dogs than advertised so thank you! They have a range of property which all seem so nice and with really great prices! We have just booked again for 2024. Kerry and family ”
- Kerry O’Toole
“We stayed at Fenside in Sea Palling. Very clean, very dog friendly. So many treats for the fur baby. The property is spacious, has all you could need and more. It is very quiet overlooking some fields with stunning fields. The shop is a short distance away, as is the beach. There was plenty of information available to us. Pack holidays are amazing. Thank you for a fabulous stay.”
- Gil
“My Wife Ruth and I, plus our two dogs Pagan & Daisy had the privilege of staying at Heron Cottage in North Norfolk courtesy of Pack Holidays. An incredible cottage nestled in the North Norfolk countryside this place is an absolute haven and an idyll. From the moment we arrived and parked on the drive, the Cottage was very inviting and we all totally loved it. Gail and her team work tirelessly to ensure that your stay is comfortable and that nobody, 2 legged or 4 pawed is left wanting for anything. I cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you so much and much credit to you all. John, Ruth, Pagan & Daisy.”

“As soon as I stepped inside Primrose cottage I knew it was going to be a good week. Such a charming cottage, so tastefully decorated and a calm tranquil feel about the place. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. I loved the layout, really well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, generous bathroom and lovely big bedrooms. Even checked the make of the mattress as it was so comfortable. It’s a Simba, btw. Every Pack holiday property has it’s plus point (this is my 3rd holiday so far with them this year, 2 more booked) but Primrose is the exception as it has lots of them, e.g. within the village but sitting just on the edge, peaceful, just 30 seconds to the dunes, your own parking place, a short walk of 3 minutes to the shop and 4 to the pub. Gail and her team made sure everything was just so for our arrival, dog crates etc. It’s so nice to know that within minutes of arriving you can be getting on with your holiday. I’d happily live there so if Ed the owner wants to sell up I’m first in the queue! I’m going back again for another holiday but for 2 weeks next time! ”
- Tracie Rickman
“We stayed at Neaps in May this year and, thankfully, the weather was perfect. Neaps is a wonderful little cottage with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The garden was fully enclosed and completely secure which was essential for our two little hounds - Henley Hobbs and Malish. We had some fabulous walks at Horsey Gap, Thurne Broads, Potter Heigham, Felbrigg Hall, South Walsham Broad and - our favourite - Sheringham Park taking in Weybourne with a spot of lunch at the excellent pub The Ship Inn - highly recommended. The Acle Bridge Inn is another great pub with good quality, traditional pub food at the right price, and a perfect garden to sit in right on the Broads. Hickling itself is a very pretty, quiet village and it was very peaceful sitting in the garden at the end of a very tiring day, listening to the birds, only disturbed by the odd bark from our dogs!! Thank you Baz and Gill for a fab holiday - and Gail from Pack Holidays who arranged all the booking. I can honestly say this was a true 'dog friendly' holiday.”
- Caron Brook
“We have just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday in Church View, Honing, and can’t wait until re return. The cottage had everything required for a peaceful and relaxing break. The area, well, walks from the door, amazing wildlife- deer, and a beach or two within a few minutes drive and the Norfolk broads just down the road too. If you haven’t been to Norfolk before you are in a for a treat x lots of beautiful empty beaches xx ”
- Jane
“Our stay at Poppyland was fantastic We truly had a wonderful time and the dogs loved it Everything we needed for our pack was supplied even dog bowls and dog towels Would highly recommend this place for anyone with dogs”
- Rose Musselwhite
“Fenside sea palling What a beautiful cottage everything is thought out so it's like home from home. Perfect place to travel to surrounding areas. Waxham barns is a must for food also poppylands. We have been many times and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pack Holiday's Team Pack Holiday's go above and beyond to make your holiday something special.”
- Tracy Smith
“This is the second time I have used packholidays for my regular break away with my reactive GSD. I most recently stayed at ‘Neaps’ in Hickling, a most beautiful and secure cottage perfect for us two. Gail who owns Pack Holidays was so so helpful in my quest for a secure garden, all on one level (those old GSD back legs thanked me for that), a property who had 3 star reactivity which wasn’t overlooked, in a too busy area and room to move. Nothing is too much trouble. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies for both pooch and me and truly felt at home. Any anxiety I had prior to booking Gail supported with my dogs needs and it made for a relaxing holiday. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for Gail. Now where to go next year! ”
- Lynne Collins
“Another PERFECT week at Oak Cottage, Happisburgh. Stayed so often and looking forward to the next stay. Each visit is like going home where I know not only will I be happy and content but importantly so will Barnie the Lurcher, he loves being made to feel welcome by the Owners and all who work with Gayle at Pack Holidays. All make this Cottage so special with every need and more catered for from beautiful furnishings, a welcome pack for Hoomans and people, cleanlieness, warmth, a wonderful safe garden and endless place to go and see. Not to be missed are runs of the Beach at Sea Palling, walks down country lanes , garden centres, shops its endless days of fun. Thank you all who always make Oak cottage such a special olace.”
- Barbara Allen
“Oak Cottage Happisburgh is the favourite' place for Barnie the Lurcher and me to stay as often as we can. Every time we return its like going HOME. The comfort for Hoomans and dogs is 5 star, cosy, spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly ask for is provided for your Pooches holidays, a superb Welcome Pack for hoomans! On arrival everything is so beautifully prepared for your arrival even the heating is ready and waiting. Whether it is the Owners, Gail at Pack Holidays and Alicia who ready's the house before & after, all make you feel they are glad to see you and help with any queries or problems (not that there are any). Can hardly wait for the next visit which I have booked because it is something to celebrate and look forward to in 2023. So....A HUGE thank you to all for allowing Barnie and I to be part of Oak Cottage each time. WIsh I could x more than 5 star!”
- Barbara Allen
“We have just returned from our first stay in a Pack Holidays cottage and we loved it. We stayed at Crincle Cottage which was in an ideal location and had everything we could need for a relaxing holiday with our dog. We have already booked to go back! I would definitely recommend Pack Holidays to others (and already have!). Easy to book, very informative website and most importantly super dog friendly (especially for our reactive lurcher). Thank you :)”
- Lynsey Connelly

“Absolutely fantastic cottage in a prime location lovely sea view. Very relaxing and peaceful. Exceptionally dog friendly. Can't recommend enough! ”
- Amanda
“Love this company and owner. Nothing is too much trouble. Having 8 dogs in our family, children and a disabled member, it's almost impossible to find somewhere to go together. Gail always finds us fab properties. The Sheilings is our favourite, the children's rooms are amazing and the garden perfect size. The house is always perfectly presented. Looking forward to our next visit. Thankyou. ”
- Annette
“We stayed in Stable Cottage in North Walsham in September. The cottage was lovely with everything you would need. The town has a market on a Thursday. There was a footpath next to the cottage but we prefer to take our dogs somewhere where they can have a longer off lead run. Pigsey wood is very near as is Bacton woods and Bacton beach all of which are excellent. A little further afield we enjoyed walking the weavers way from Honing station. Pretty corner was also good to give them a good run before the humans spent time in Sheringham. You are really spoilt for places to go in the area and more beaches than there are room to mention.”
- Carole brown
“My sister has stayed at fenside twice now , and it is a credit to the owners , they leave the most amazing welcome gift and everything you could want is in the house ”
- Julie pye
“We have stayed in mimi and fenside twice now love the location and the houses , we could quite easily live there in them houses. We will be back in 2024 because we’re booked in other places next year”
- Julie pye
“Stayed at Cosy Cottage, Sea Palling . Perfect in every way. Very close to gorgeous very quiet beach, only ones on there most mornings. The cottage is fantastic and lives up to its cosy name. Well equipped, we wanted for nothing, and such comfy beds with pure cotton linen. There were four adults and four dogs and it couldn’t have suited us better. This was our third Pack Holiday and it was simply home from home and brilliant in every way. Why would you doubt it, just look at the fabulous reviews. Not one less than five stars. If you have dogs and you never go anywhere without them the Pack Holidays is for you! ”
- Sue Sills
“Wilfred farm cottage Dilham provided peace and tranquillity at its best although not too far from the lovely surrounding villages and local amenities.Weaver's way was on the doorstep for long walks with Alfie. The cottage was lovely with loads of space,we were able to use the garden(although a little overgrown) and read a book in the September sunshine. Recommend the local beaches which are close by you can walk for miles. Great holiday, thanks to Clare. ”
- Talboys
“3 Staithe Cottage in Stalham Norfolk Stayed week commencing 12th September 2022 Once again Pack Holidays have taken on another beautiful home. Everything was thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Wonderfully decorated and furnished to high standard. We met Fiona who cleans the house and ensures all ready for guests stay. Fiona was a lovely person and very helpful. This is our 4th cottage holiday with Gail and her team. We are looking forward to our next adventure. Lovely break Thank you xx”
- Sue and Ted and Toffee
“I have been back home for about a week after having spent a wonderful week in Stable Cottage, North Walsham. I know where I would rather be today, there. Beautiful comfy and very dog friendly cottage, and only 10 mins to the beach- 5 mins to a fab wood walk too. It’s also market day in N W today, which we missed as we went off looking for seals at Horsey and to sample Poppylands cakes. So much to do and see locally, definitely worth another visit - or more. If you’re looking for dog friendly family holiday I’d definitely give it a try. ”
- Jane
“Lovely short break to North Walsham, The Dairy. Quiet, spotless and everything I needed for a break away with my girl. A nice circular walk local to the dairy, and secure. A great base to chill, kick back and explore the surrounding areas when it wasn't too hot! Bacon Woods was a hit (many responsible dog owners) and equally Bacton beach. Would certainly stay there again. Thank you Gail xx”
- Lynne
“Just had a second fabulous stay at Fenside, Sea Palling, a lovely sparkling clean dog friendly cottage in a quiet location a few minutes walk from the uncrowded beach. Pretty, secure garden for dog games and lots of throws and mats provided to allow snuggling up on the sofa with our 4 legged friends. Dog bowls, treats etc provided and a welcome pack for humans! Great communication with Gail at Pack Holidays and lots of information provided about dog friendly eating places nearby. Will be repeat returners for sure!”
- Diane Todd
“Wonderful and relaxing week at Primrose Cottage in Winterton on Sea with our 2 dogs, Bruce and Benji. The cottage is spotless and well equipped for both humans and dogs. With walks from the doorstep onto the dunes and beach and access to several walks nearby. ”
- Tony & Sue Peachey
“We had a really wonderful week at Crincle Cottage - so homely and cosy - just perfect for 4 people and 8 dogs. Garden is brilliant for the dogs to play in safely. Scenery and wildlife around the cottage - just amazing. Gail at Pack Holidays is most helpful. All in all, simply first class!”
- Tina Andrews
“We can truly recommend pack holidays. Wed stayed in New Mill, Stalham. Absolutely fabulous, stay. We wanted for nothing. Everything you could wish for was included. The dogs loved it. So many nice walks from the house and everyone we met was so friendly. Hopefully we can try Scotland next year. Thank you Gail and all at Pack Holidays for a super time and we all have very fond memories to take back to Nottinghamshire and Eindhoven Holland x”
- Christine Cook, Marietje & Wally Muller
“Had a fantastic week at Greenwood Barn. The accommodation is excellent and the barn is located in a very quiet position with good dog walks on your doorstep. The garden at the property is very dog friendly. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Gail at Pack Holidays couldn’t be more helpful. ”
- Angela Inskip
“Pack Holidays are brilliant in organising truly dog friendly accomodation. They do not then hit you with rules about where dogs are not allowed once they have your payment but instead provide throws for the beds and sofas and give full info about wall height etc. Fantastic! We stayed in Cosy Corner and had a lovely time. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. They have thought of all the little extras to make things comfortable and easier with a dog. Comfy sofa and beds which are most needed to relax after days out and right near the beach. We have stayed in many accommodations with our dog(s) and this is the best one for dog friendly. Highly recommended. ”
- Claire Grover
“We have spent a week with Pack Holidays at Sea Palling, Norfolk. We stayed in the well equipped 'Echoes'. There were 5 adults and 9 dogs. Very comfortable accommodation. A secure garden and large kitchen with an easy clean floor !! The house is only a brisk 5 minute walk from the beach which is dog friendly all year round. The Pack Holiday Team are on hand from start to finish, making the whole experience worth the 5 star rating.”
- Cathy Austin
“Stayed at The Shielings with our 4 dogs, excellent accommodation close to beach will definitely be back”
- Catherine Stevens
“Just spent a wonderful week in Winterton on Sea. Booked through Gail at Pack Holidays and stayed at Herring House. It was very comfortable and there was everything we could need. A welcome pack for us and doggy treats for Woody. Dog bowls, towels, throws all provided. The Fishmans Return pub is very dog friendly and only a five minute walk away. The Winterton beach and dunes are also a short walk away and Woody was in his element. The whole area is very dog friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.”
- Margaret, Colin & Woody
“Just back from West Cottage. Lovely well equipped cottage. Large enclosed garden perfect for 3 energetic collies to chill in after a run on the beach. Quiet location but can walk to Sea Palling along the beach for a pub lunch or a coffee.”
- Michele Walker
“Oak cottage was perfect for all of us, it was homely ,spotless and fantastic for all dogs with a lovely secure garden. Walks from the door and plenty of dog friendly places to visit. Our holiday was made easy by Gails fantastic management. On returning home we have already recommended Pack holidays to friends. We will be back. Thank you.”
- Susan Elliott
“We stayed at Treetops in Honing, what a super property, very well equipped, tastefully decorated and super comfortable. Good sized secure garden and fabulous walks on Weavers Way just a couple of minutes from door, plus plenty to do short drive away”
- Sandra Knight
“Coastguard Cottage, Sea Palling, Norfolk. This was a lovely ground floor flat. Everything you needed within a stones throw and they accommodated us and our combined 5 dogs in style. A warm welcome with crates provided, wine for the humans and treats for the dogs. The secure garden was great and the beach was literally a stone throw away over the sea wall with beautiful walks, seals and sunsets. The house is literally virtually opposite a nice fish and chip shop, coffee and snack shop nearby and a beach shack type restaurant which we didn't use (mainly as it said cash only). There was also an amusement arcade. I can imagine it might get noisy in high season but we were not disturbed. You can also walk down a small path near the house behind the property to a virtually empty beach entrance. There is a village shop up the road but as Tesco with it's cheap petrol was a short drive away we tended to go there. Pack holidays were very helpful and returned our deposit promptly. I will definitely use them again. It is so rare to fine a holiday company that provides quality accommodation, great service and a can do and VERY warm welcome to people with "lots" of dogs....thank you so much...please get more properties in Suffolk and down the coast!”
- Karen Hare
“Had a lovely week staying at Stable Cottage with our two greyhounds Thora and Autumn. The cottage had everything that we needed and the garden was nice and secure for the dogs. A good location for quick and easy access for lots of coastal walks, we also visited two National Trust properties. Bacton Woods is close by with easy car parking and a choice of walks. Found a lovely vegan cafe Cafe Carmel at Bacton, tasty food and very dog friendly.”
- Liz and Shelley
“We have just returned from a big family holiday at Oak Cottage, East Ruston. 8 humans and 3 dogs. The house was perfect for both dogs and humans. It is spacious and comfortable. The garden is fully secure - our beagle thoroughly checked it out! We liked the fact there is 2 separate gardens, giving us the choice of letting the dogs in the larger garden or the smaller one, particularly when not supervised as much (poo patrol is easier in the smaller one). There are also lovely dog showers which we loved (the dogs maybe not so much!) We would definitely recommend this cottage. ”
- Lisa Dolby
“Had a lovely week at Greenwood Barn, perfect for all our 3 dogs but especially for Layla, who is blind, being fully secure and the cottage and garden all on one level but could leave her to safely explore on her own. Lots of dog friendly places nearby to visit with good walks and good food. Would definitely return.”
- Lynn
“Gail is excellent and keeps you well informed. ”
- Susan Denyer
“Just returned from 7 days at Cosy Corner, Sea Palling. Everything was spotlessly clean and welcoming. This is a brilliant cottage, well maintained, fantastic location; beach is just a 2 mins walk. Dog friendly garden, and the owners have thought of everything your dogs will need, just in case you forget something! Could not fault anything and have already booked for 2023.”
- Susan Denyer
“We stayed at Ports Corner in Mundesley last week. The one level accommodation was ideal for us & our 4 dogs. Everything has been thought of a beautiful kitchen, Underfloor heating, comfy beds & a large garden that our dogs loved to explore. Poets Corner is ideally situated in a quiet road & in walking distance to the park or beach. Excellent food at The Ship pub & takeaway shops. ”
- Beverley Scillitoe
“Just back from another Pack Holiday. We stayed at Oak Cottage, Happisburgh for a week and what an amazing week it was. Oak Cottage is absolutely delightful and offered us every human and doggy comfort imaginable. Along with furniture throws, dog bowls, dog beds, dog towels, dog treats and dog crates, we were mega impressed with the Canine First Aid Kit, not that we needed it, thankfully. The cottage was clean, spacious and well equipped with such comfy beds. A large garden laid to lawn was much appreciated by the dogs. This cottage is well placed for exploring the North East coast of Norfolk. We will definitely be returning to Oak Cottage”
- Siobhan Dawson
“Pack Holidays is a must for families that holiday with there pets ! We've been with Gail for a number of years now so that in itself speaks volumes ! Having just returned from a holiday at Mimi Cottage in Sea Palling this cottage is in such an idyllic location just views of fields and the quietness of the area was just what we needed after a rubbish 2 years due to covid and a family member being ill ! We wanted a cottage where we didn't have to do anything so the beach was a short walk same with the shops for morning papers and supplies including a farm shop and butchers I couldn't recommend pack holidays enough ! Gail and her team and owners of the properties are all just a phonecall away should you need any help ! We love it so much weve booked again for later this year and for next year If you have more than 1 dog or 2dogs maybe 3 4 5 even 6 dogs then pack holidays is your go to company ! Very very dog friendly very approachable and cares about animals as much as humans which is very rare in nearly all companies that claim to be dog friendly thats why we keep going back ! Book you wont be disappointed .”
- Jane Britain
“Lovely long stay at Greenwood Barn -great location - walking distance to the beach and easy drive to lots of the local attractions, and the Lighthouse Inn walking distance too Perfect secure garden for all dog sizes - large enough for zoomies - the barn itself was very clean, fab lounge - dogs loved the underfloor heating - will definitely stay again ”
- Dee
“Excellent accommodation. Good sized kitchen with separate dining room. 5 * all round”
- Richard
“This was our second visit to Crincle cottage, we love it and will be booking again. So comfortable and great for the dogs, lovely walks, great local pub food and we seen the seals in February! Fantastic to just switch off and really relax.”
- Dave wilson
“Booked Cosy Corner in Sea Palling very last minute and what a lucky find, this little gem of a cottage, it was spotless, had everything you could want, the beds were so comfortable, the bathroom is lovely, kitchen well equipped and a lovely lounge, the equipment for dogs was amazing, plenty of throws ,bowls, leads etc but what made this holiday for us was the position, it was in the prime position for the beach, literally across a tiny lane onto the walkway over the dunes 2 minutes and you are on a gorgeous beach, we had wonderful weather and enjoyed ourselves so much we booked to come back later in the year.our dog had an amazing time and we knew she was welcomed rather than tolerated ,fantastic ,can’t wait to return x”
- Kevin Corfield
“We couldn't say enough good things about Pack Holidays and the cottage we stayed in through them (Neaps in Hickling). One of the best equipped and TRULY dog friendly cottages we have visited with our pack; beds, towels, grooming wipes, throws all provided in a very secure, quiet but perfectly positioned cottage to visit the best that the Norfolk coast has to offer. We will definitely be booking with them again.”
- Lucy Oates
“Fenside sea palling Christmas and New year we had the most amazing time. Everything you could ask for and more. The cottage looked amazing decorated beautifully. Plenty of room for humans and doggies. The garden is perfect for my 4 they loved running around it. Lovely new porch so you can enter without bring dirt into lounge and perfect for leaving muddy boots. Kitchen is so equipped the owners have thought of everything you would need. Beds are super comfy Loved being able to use the log burner made it look so Christmassy. Brilliant location for days out and 10 mins walk to the beach.”
- Tracy Smith
“We stayed at Herring House in Winterton On Sea. The house is lovely, clean ,welcoming, everything you need for us and our 3 dogs. And so central in the village , short walk to the beach and great walks on the dunes, safe for our dogs. The seals were in a colony further up the beach which was a sight to see. The village has a pub, fish shop, post office and shop that sells everything . Further a field their is Hemsby with a coop , Chinese take away . Caister beach is long and safe for dogs . Loved our stay right from booking to Gail letting us know we left the house in perfect order, who would not as it was great. Thank you .”
- Lynda Smith
“My second pack holiday was a spare of the minute weekend away and Gail was extremely helpful with my last minute booking. We packed up the car and headed to Waxham. We arrived in the dark but the farm was well signposted and parking right outside the cottage so I could get my dogs in safely. They ran straight to the back door and I was so impressed with the sizeable garden that immediately I just relaxed. There was an outside light and it was secure at every aspect. Inside the cottage was spacious, had dog friendly flooring and a dirt trapping mat which is useful when you have 16 paws running in and out the garden. A beautiful welcome gift awaited us and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the bacon. Straight away I felt I was in a home away from home. The farm is a few minutes drive from Sea Palling where my dogs ran free enjoying the tranquility of an empty beach. The following day we explored the on site walk and headed to the beautiful dunes. To the right there were seals just chilling out as far as the eye could see and to the left miles of unspoilt coast. Having a doorstep walk is so important if you have elderly dogs that just want a little trip out in a calm setting. We didn’t see anyone so this walk is also ideal for reactive or noisy dogs I’m so grateful for my long weekend and to Gail for all her help with my never-ending questions about beautiful Norfolk. Thank you Pippa and the hounds ”
- Pippa
“We had the most amazing week at Oak Cottage in beautiful Happisburgh. It was the perfect base for exploring for our first visit to Norfolk. Our furbabies were more relaxed than I've ever known them, right from the minute we arrived. We had such a great time, we booked straight away for 2 weeks next year as soon as we got home. ”
- Paula
“I have just spent a week at Herring House, Winterton on Sea. As well as great accommodation with only a 10 minute walk to the beach this was an ideal location. Let's just say I had 3 very happy and tired dogs at the end of each day (including 2 humans) :-)”
- Paula Fowler
“ I have always wanted to take my dogs on holiday but never found anywhere that accepted more than 4 dogs until two of my friends recommended I get in touch with Gail at Pack Holidays. When my dogs and I pulled up at Crincle cottage I was immediately impressed by the location, surrounded by fields, and security of the garden, a nice sized enclosed area that kept my dogs noses engaged. The cottage was immaculate inside and clean dog towels, dog beds and treats awaited us! The cottage had a lovely homely feel to it. The floors were elderly dog friendly and the throws on the sofa’s gave me peace of mind should one of the dogs jump on with mucky paws. Everything was clean and smelt fresh and I was so impressed by all the little touches, teas, coffees, dog leads, dog bags, bowls that I felt I had discovered a little gem. The cottage had two out-the-door walks one to the beach and another to the windmill walking through beautiful countryside passing very few people so ideal for reactive or young dogs. All in all the whole 10 day experience was incredible. So much so I have since booked another couple of breaks over the coming months. Thank you to the team at Pack Holidays especially Gail! Pippa and the gang ”

“We had a lovely few days staying at Stable Cottage, North Walsham. We arrived by train and used the train to go to the start of several walks which enabled us to go through some beautiful forested areas and also to the beach. The cottage was well equipped lots of saucepans, crockery, cutlery etc. There was a washing machine, which was a luxury! Our dog was grateful for the lovely cosy beds and blankets. A nice convenient field nearby for early morning or late evening walks along with a secure garden and courtyard made life much easier with our dog too. ”
- Sue Taylor
“Just back from a weekend break in Primrose Cottage, Winterton. Had a great time. Lovely accommodation, really comfy and definitely dog friendly, scrummy welcome goodies too! Perfect location for long walks on the beach and dunes. ”
- Miranda
“We have just returned from staying at Primrose Cottage in Winterton on sea. This was our first stay at this cottage but not our first with Pack Holidays. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a home from home stay. The back garden is mainly slabs with a couple of beddings on the side. This was amble room for our dog to run around and explore. Yes the stairs are fairly steep but not terrible - we found walking sideways down much easier! It definitely did tour us off the house at all. Location was amazing, a 6-8 minute walk to the beach and less than 5 minutes to our favourite dog friendly pub, The Fisherman’s Return. It is very central to explore other areas. Horsey Beach to see the seals and 35-40 minutes to Norwich. Thank you Gail and team for another amazing pack holiday and look forward to booking our next stay with you! ”
- Thelma Dionisiou
“Beautiful cottage with great secure garden for the dog. Lovely to be minutes away from the dunes and beach. The dog loved his morning walks there. Walk to Horsey Beach is a must to see the seals and The Fisherman's Return pub in the village is great for food. Would definitely recommend this cottage and Pack Holidays.”
- Kim Goldstone
“Had an absolutely delightful holiday at Mimi Cottage, Sea Palling, Norfolk, booked through Pack Holidays. It lived up to our expectations and more - highly recommended!”
- Tina Andrews
“Fabulous and truly dog friendly holiday, was able to bring all 6 of my dogs. Stayed in Oak Cottage, East Ruston, Large fully secure front garden with more than enough room for my van. Small side garden again fully secure. Large bedrooms, very comfy and cosy with a wonderful and inviting front room with a log fire which goes onto a dining area with a large table. Fully equipped kitchen with good amount of space. The dog showers with hot and cold water was amazing to rinse the sand/mud of the dogs from the days adventures. The cottage is in a great location for exploring and then to come back to a peaceful evening to relax and recharge for the next day. We were also lucky enough to be able to hire a hot tub for the week which was up and ready to use when we arrived. ”
- Sarah Jones
“What a great find Pack Holidays was. It shows the real difference between dogs tolerated and genuinely dog friendly holidays. Communication with Gail is a pleasure, and she's always there to answer any queries you may have both before and during the holiday. We stayed at Treetops in Honing and Poets Corner in Mundesley. Both cottages were spotless on arrival, comfortable and providing every basic need, and more, for a self catering holiday. The website descriptions of the properties are accurate, and I really appreciate the Reactive Dog star rating.”
- Gina Pearce
“We just got back from a very relaxing holiday at West Cottage in Waxham. Wonderfully large and secure garden for the dogs to zoom around and we also enjoyed it very much especially the hammock for an afternoon snooze in the sun! Lovely walk to the beach across farmland and dunes and very quiet at night so we slept very well. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could want or need and we enjoyed the little treats in the welcome pack. The dogs normally ignore dog biscuits but the steak and kidney ones went down a treat. This is not our first Pack Holiday and definitely won't be our last! ”
- Janine C
“Pack Holidays offer the very best in dog-friendly self catering accommodation. The cottages are all generously equipped and spotlessly clean, with secure gardens ensuring a stress free stay. It’s so rare to find a company that truly is dog-friendly and does not charge for your canine family. We have just returned from a short break at Echoes in Sea Palling, and this really is a lovely house in a great location - just a short walk to the beautiful beach. Thank goodness next year’s holiday is already booked! ”
- Dianne Youngman
“Our second holiday with Pack Holidays and another resounding success. Honestly can't rate them high enough! Super dog friendly, both cottages we've stayed in have been well equipped, well located, clean and homely, and most importantly TRULY dog friendly! Last year Oak Cottage Happisburgh and this year Oak Cottage East Ruston. Marvellous!”
- Jo Granger
“New Mill . I booked this holiday for my sister who had been unwell. Having had several Pack holidays myself I had no reservations about booking a holiday for someone else and New Mill lived up to expectations. Spotless, well equipped and great location. Big Thank you to Gail and her wonderful Team”

“We have just returned from a week spent at Norah's Cottage, Norfolk. Surrounded by the fields just after harvest, this was a quiet, idyllic contrast that felt like 'The Great Escape' after 18 months of COVID restrictions in the North West. Our two Golden Retrievers had a splendid time sniffing along country lanes, walking along Weavers Way, digging up Comer Beach, and being spoiled in the dog-friendly Garden Room at the Bridge end Cafe in Potter Heigham. We saw the Horsey Wind Pump and seals in Horsey Bay and so much more all packed into one big adventurous week. The cottage had comfortable beds, was carefully designed for visitors, and had an enclosed garden area for the dogs to explore. Everything was just perfect for us and the dogs. All the locals that we met were friendly and helpful and most importantly, greeted our dogs like royalty. (This is just a summary of where we went) I came home with two happy dogs feeling refreshed and delighted with the trip. I have booked our holiday for next year already, having been so impressed with the venue, its location, and the supportive, kind, and efficient assistance from Gail. Thanks also to Jan for her hospitality. ”
- Christine Anderson

“Myself and husband have just had the best holiday with our 4 dogs staying at Norahs cottage, potter heigham Norfolk. What a beautiful, quiet, relaxing cottage, it was very clean and had everything you would need. The cottage is situated in a very quiet area but not to far from local shops, Tesco and a beautiful dog friendly beach at waxham barns. We will definitely be returning and using pack holidays again. ”
- Jane Ratcliffe
“Just back from a week at Eden Hall Cottage with our 4 dogs. Wow! What a house! Huge and beautifully renovated. Fantastic welcome package for us all, 2 legged and 4 and With the Plum and Ashby products all round the house, it felt more like a boutique hotel. Large, totally secure garden and wooden/tiled floor meant it was exceptionally dog friendly. The dog friendly Sugar and Spice cafe if 2 minutes from the house by foot and the huge sanely beach just 10 minutes. There is a lovely circular walk around the village and a local shop and fish and chips. It was the perfect house for our group of 3 families to stay. Absolutely loved it and all topped off by Gail who made the process so seamless. Thank you. ”

It was the second time we have stayed here and love the layout of the cottage and the safe enclosed garden we would 100% recommend a holiday here for any dog lovers . After a difficult year I can honestly say it has put a smile back on my face!! Thank you Pack holidays !! ”

“Just had another lovely holiday in Norfolk with Pack Holidays. We stayed at Echoes in Sea Palling this time and as usual with Pack found the place came up to our expectations. Our five dogs including 2 Huskies found the house very comfortable and settled down easily. The house is very well appointed and only a very short walk to the dog friendly beach. We have already booked up again for next year. ”
- Patrick Page
“We booked through pack holidays, and from the minute we booked Gail was brilliant , very informative and lovely to chat too. There was myself my husband, 6 year old daughter and our 2 dogs. The property itself was chapel barn in sheringham, lovely little place 15 second walk straight into town and beach so brilliant location. In the barn was spotless, had everything you would need , a home from home, we were even left milk and most importantly a bottle of Prosecco which went down nicely thank you so much for a wonderful U.K. family holiday we would highly recommend and use Gail and pack holidays again. ”
- Anna hayes
“Chapel Barn, Sheringham. Nice cosy accommodation, enjoyed the log fire feature, shower great, within a minutes walk of both sea front and high street which contains plenty of unique shops. Ideal location for exploring the local area and very friendly people. Dog friendly environment.”
- Stephen Ward
“Over the years we have stayed at several Pack Holiday cottages. This year saw us staying at New Barn at Stalham Staithe. What a truly spectacular stay. Every mod con available and extremely modern and clean. New Barn was situated on the broads and very close to Mundesley, Happisburgh and my favourite beach, Winterton. All 5 pugs were in their element either tearing around on the beach or boating on the broads. Always a joy on a Pack Holiday!”
- Deb Lunnon
“We stayed at the delightful Oak Cottage on the edge of Happisburgh - and we are so glad we did because it was really great! A lovely, comfortable cottage, decor sensible and practical for multi-dog families. Location perfect for visits to Mundesley, Sea Palling, Winterton-on-Sea, Hemsby, Bacton Woods, Walcott. All the humans and canines had the best time - highly recommend this property booked through Pack Holidays, from Tina Andrews, June 2021.”
- Tina Andrews
“We stayed at New Mill, Stalham. Lovely accommodation, everything included for a comfortable stay with our 5 fur babies. Convenient location, lots of dog friendly beaches within easy reach. Highly recommended. ”
- Sue McNamee
“Had a great two weeks at Oak Cottage, Happisburgh. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and very dog friendly, our pooches had a great time and it was great not having to worry about them getting up on the furniture as ample throws were provided. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and we found Gail and Pack Holidays extremely easy and friendly to deal with, would thoroughly recommend Pack Holidays to anybody looking for a multiple dog friendly holiday cottage in Norfolk. Thanks again for a lovely holiday.”
- Angela Shepherd
“Had a fabulous week at the Oaks in Ludham. 4 Adults and 3 cockapoos. Cottage is very spacious 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms . Living area was open plan but could be closed off as needed. Plenty of dog friendly beaches and woodland just a short drive away . Ludham village a 5 minute walk with shop butchers and a pub is a Very pretty Everything we needed for our dogs was available bowls throws towels and an outdoor warm shower. The Welcome pack was very thoughtful treats for the dogs and homemade cake for us. Would highly recommend ”

- Tracy Smith
“We have just had a week's stay at Oak Cottage, East Ruston. We all had a fabulous time, weather could have been a bit nicer, but we managed to dodge most of the rain. Oak Cottage, has a fabulous garden and secure fencing, just right for our 3 labs, and the huge bedrooms were just right for the humans x The lovely big freezer was just right for taking the dogs raw food. Sadly we didn't get the chance to visit the local pub, but it certainly looks inviting, fingers crossed that they can reopen fully soon. We had a lovely walk at Holt Country Park, dogs are allowed off lead. A visit to Salthouse and the Dun Cow is not to be missed, excellent seafood and a wonderful view out to sea x”
- Tracy Harris
“Just home from a fabulous 2 weeks in Poets Corner. 2 adults and 5 dogs, we've stayed here many times and just love it!! The very pretty cottage is of a very high standard with a great garden that the dogs love exploring in. Mundesley beach is beautiful and Bacton which is a 5 minute drive away is fantastic! Gail is brilliant and we even met on the beach at Bacton ... Cant wait to come back, best place in the world!! xx”
- Beverley Angell
“A true dog friendly experience. We have just returned from a week in Echoes in Sea Palling. An amazing house so close to all amenities but down a quiet lane. So dog friendly with treats, beds etc supplied with no extra cost. Gail runs an exceptional company that has easy to use web site and great communication. ”
- June Sparrow
“East Cottage, we've just experienced our first ever Pack Holiday in this cottage after having 2 bookings last year going up the swanee due to covid and a bereavement, which I have to say Gail was very helpful in getting everything sorted out and rebooking us 2 hols this year, this one and another week later in the year. The cottage had everything you needed, was comfy, bright and nicely furnished. Nice sized secure garden for our 2 girls (lab & lab cross). There was a lovely welcome tray on arrival which was very much appreciated by the hoomans and doggos alike. The setting on Walnut farm was lovely, very tranquil and relaxing. It's just minutes from Waxham and Sea Palling beaches which is good. Was bit too cool for our liking to be sitting out having lunches/meals so we made full use of the cottage kitchen which was well equipped. I can honestly say PackHols really are dog friendly unlike others that only seem to 'tolerate' your dogs in their properties. The dogs really can feel like its home from home with the welcome they get. The provision of dog tags to use while you're on holiday are an excellent idea and give peace of mind to us owners. I'll certainly be recommending Pack Hols and look forward to next stay in a PH property later this year.”
- Geri Hayes
“We have 5 dogs and we always have difficulties in find holiday lets. Not anymore... now that we have found Pack Holidays. We stay at New Mill for 12 days and absolutely loved it. Welcome pack for both dogs and hoomans. Quality home with a very relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable furniture and beds and very clean. Plenty of towels for us the hoomans and plenty of towels, bedding and throws for the hounds. I have already recommended Pack Holidays to friends and will be letting the charity 'German Shepherd Rescue Elite' members know about Pack Holidays. We highly recommend Pack Holidays and Gail who operates Pack Holidays. Thank you so much Gail. I'll be back! ”
- Gerry Widnell
“Our second time using “Pack Holidays” and won’t be the last that’s for sure. When they say DOG FRIENDLY they really mean it! Last time we stayed at The Coach House but this time we stayed at The Diary - same place different accommodation. This was smaller and suited us better. We loved the secure courtyard. The girls had great fun smelling on the lovely sniffs and whiffs left by previous visitors. Inside was perfect for us too. The heaters made it lovely and toasty. We took the dogs to the canal for a muddy walk, Bacton Beach for a Sandy blast and lastly Bacton Woods for a last muddy tear about prior to leaving. They were exhausted! Us humans did some lovely rural cross country runs and also enjoyed a visit to the seals at Horsey. We could not believe the amount of seals - absolutely amazing! We are planning our next trip and have plans to utilise all 3 accommodations here and bring the extended family!!! Thanks Gail and co for helping us find the perfect staycation! ”
- Deborah Hollidge
“Stayed at west cottage. Family of 5 with two dogs. Spots and flossy scruffy jack Russell's. Lovely place, incredibly clean and a log burner well used as a December visit. Thanks to gail who was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay. Will”
- Carole Feasey
“Wow , Sea View is amazing, perfect location and fabulous house . You can guarantee that all pack holidays are truly dog friendly. No worry’s about dogs on the sofa here! Gail was wonderful sorting out everything in these uncertain times. The welcome pack was incredible. Can’t wait to return. ”
- Sandra Emery
“Just had a fab weekend at Crincle Cottage in Horsey. The cottage is simply perfect....should be called cozy cottage! Short walk to the beach to see the Horsey Seals and Cubs. 2 min walk to the Nelsons Head local pub, really friendly and was able to take away our food....the fish and chips are the best!! This is my 2nd pack holiday and will not be the last.”
- Liz
“We spent a lovely week at Martham Mill with our daughter and little dog. Such a lovely peaceful spot, ideal for the Broads and the sea. It was great to have the boat too and we enjoyed the simple pleasure of boating, walking and visiting the beach without the need for the car. Both Gail and Jan, owner of the mill, were fabulous and we would have no hesitation visiting beautiful Norfolk with Pack Holidays again.”
- Rachel & Martyn
“Spent a week at " FENSIDE " , Sea Palling end of October . FABULOUS . Very rare to holiday in such a spotless , clean holiday home . The house was perfect for us & our 4 dogs . Your every need is catered for & I mean EVERYTHING . If you can't find it either for yourself or your canine family then it most probably hasn't been invented . Such a lovely home from home . PACK HOLIDAYS were also superb to deal with throughout . Gail even came round on our first morning as the cleaners had forgotten the bin liners !! Oh No ! ”
- Stephen Broadhurst
“Oak Cottage East Ruston We were lucky enough to have a fantastic week here with our 3 dogs and Grandkids, the house had everything we needed, and more and our treats were amazing and very welcome by our four legged friends and humans alike. Gail is a brilliant host and nothing is to much trouble, and a high Thank you to her and her staff for making us feel safe, will definitely be revisiting. ”
- Sue
“We have just returned from an amazing holiday At the beautiful Sea View. The house was stunning and on arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack. Booking was so easy and any communication with Gail was quick and thorough, an absolute pleasure. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Pack holidays again”
- Lisa
“This is a truly dog friendly company. There were four of us with five dogs and Oak Cottage at Happisburgh was superbly equipped for staying with dogs, there were dog beds, bowls, a completely secure garden and dog towels for use after walks. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival thanks to Frankie and Frazer (the owners) and to Alicia who had the cottage spice and span for our arrival. The communication from Gail was excellent. ”
- Ellen
“Had a lovely week in early October at West Side Cottage with the two mad cockers. Walking on the beaches every day was a delight as was a trip to Bacton Woods. Waxham beach is especially lovely with the crashing waves and of course Horsey is just down the road with the ever nosy seals looking at you. The cottage was lovely and spotless with a big enclosed garden and everything you could want was there for you. cant wait to get back to the Norfolk beaches.”
- Kim and Jim
“We had a weeks stay at The Shielings and had great time. The cottage itself is lovely and the secure garden is perfect for the dogs. The location is peaceful and just a short stroll to the beach. The service from Gail could not be better, its very much like renting from a close friend. Nothing is too much trouble. Paul the owner is also very nice. All in all, a great experience which we would be more than happy to repeat.”
- Steve Russell
“Just returned from a fabulous week at Seaview in Wallcot,6 adults and 4 dogs ,the house was immaculate and had high quality furniture ,beds and bedding throughout and was as if nobody had ever stopped there ,granted it is fairly new to the holiday lettings ,but still it is testimony to the amazing work of the owners ,Gail at Pack holidays and the fantastic cleaners . The house is perfectly placed for walks straight out onto the beach ,which we did for sunrise each morning and for travelling up or down the coast to the various towns and villages. The weather was reasonably kind to us but I would imagine that the garden and patio area would be great in the warmer months . There was a large and very welcome package of goodies on arrival all of exceptional quality and was very welcome. This was officially our first stay with Pack holidays after having to cancel earlier in the year because of the lockdown ,the cancellation and the moving of the booking was handled quickly and efficiently by Gail and we are very much looking forward to our stay next year . We would not hesitate to recommend both Seaview and Pack holidays for anyone looking for accommodation both with or without dogs in Norfolk”
- stuart letch
“2 adults and 3 dogs stayed at Echoes sea palling, brilliant spacious house 5 minutes from the sea. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.”
- Carol lee
“Lovely few days at Snowdrop cottage, Winterton-on-Sea. It's all about the location - toward the end of a cul-de-sac, so very quiet, and just a hop and a skip through the alley to those wonderful dunes. The dogs were in heaven! Inside, it's a cute, beach-themed, welcoming space. Steepish stairs, but you soon get used to them. A beautiful bathroom, with a good shower. Kitchen is at the front, but it's totally private as it faces the little courtyard, so once you are indoors, you're in your own happy little holiday world. Thanks for a lovely stay.”
- Annette
“ Stayed in The Dairy at North Walsham. Ideal for our 3 dogs, ideal for us 2, plenty of room for all, clean and warm (it was a bit chilly after a horrific storm). Will certainly book again.”
- Chris Norman
“Can't recommend Pack Holidays enough. We've had dogs for many years and stayed away a lot with them. We currently have five and I can tell you there is a big difference between "dog allowed" and being truly "dog friendly" and Pack Holidays definitely are the latter. Good and honest descriptions of each property so you know whether it's suitable for your dogs or not (but lets face it most of them will be!) and Gail cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. Just arrived home and already looking forward to the next trip.”
- Fiona Barrett
“Oak Cottage East Ruston. Like staying with your favourite auntie. The one who spoiled you rotten and didn’t care if you lounged around in your PJs all day, watching TV with your dogs cuddled up on the sofa with you. But you wouldn’t be doing that; East Ruston common is a three minute walk along the (very quiet) lane, and once you’ve popped through the hedge, there are acres of heath to scamper and explore off-lead. Plenty of other walking routes from the door, plus Weavers Way, with a new, wet weather, shingle path - we drove to Honing for direct access by the bridge. And of course, it’s only a short drive to a choice of fabulous, dog friendly beaches. Oak Cottage is all about the very warmest of welcomes, lots of space, both indoor and out, and that secure garden. Everything is there for you: a fabulous welcome pack, lots of throws and towels for mucky pups, and, above all, the only thing that is required from you is to unpack, relax and start enjoying your well-deserved holiday. Oh! And those warm, custom dog showers are a Godsend. Especially if you have a dog like ours who finds stagnant ponds totally irresistible ;0)”
- Jane
“Another fabulous English break with Pack Holidays. Gail is absolutely amazing at sorting out your booking, organising crates/cages for your fur babies & making sure everything is perfect for your arrival. Lovely welcome pack upon arrival for both dogs & is. We stayed at Mimi Cottage this time which is in an ideallic location, down a quiet Lane surrounded by fields. The house was well equipped, beds lovely & comfortable, rooms all spacious & bright. Huge sofa in the lounge & large dining table so plenty of seating for us all. Lovely outdoor space for both dogs & humans. Beautiful sandy Beach, arcade, shop & cafe just a small walk away. We can highly recommend a peaceful, relaxing break at Mimi Cottage. ”
- Cox Family
“A party of 4 well behaved adults and 1 dog stopped at The Shielings , sea palling . A fantastic welcome package was left and the house was more than adequate for our needs , we had no children with us this time but “The secret Room “ was a brilliant idea for those that do have little ones.we made good use of the hot tub which was relaxing after a busy day walking all along the Norfolk coast . Very dog friendly with even going the extra mile with dog towels and poop bags . Lots of dog friendly places to eat also and a fab farm shop down the road . We shall highly recommend this company for large parties of people and for being very responsive to our questions . ”
- Tracy & Paul Ilett
“Fantastic, just returned from Echoes at sea palling, what can I say except perfect. Comfy beds spacious rooms great parking shop close by and a short strolll to the beach. Can not recommend enough. Thanks Gail for great communication.”
- Helen
“Sea View was our most recent stay with Pack Holidays, each property has been excellent- super clean, lovely gardens and perfect for dogs - Sea View was no exception to this. Lovely bright airy house - beautifully decorated, with fabulous sea views from most windows and a great location right on a lovely sandy beach - it was perfect in every way - highly recommend.”
- Dee
“Yet again another fabulous Pack Holiday. This time we stayed at the Coach House but we have also stayed at the Stables and the Dairy. Excellent properties all really clean and well maintained. All 5 pugs loved it too!”
- Mrs Deborah J Lunnon
“5* service Gail can't do enough for you definitely recommend pack holidays ”
- Tracy Smith
“Amazing house everything you need beautiful location looking out onto open views. 10 minute walk to the beach. 5* to the wonderful cleaner and gardener. ”
- Fenside sea palling
“Have just returned from our first stay at The Dairy, North Walsham. The cottage was beautifully clean and perfect for our needs. The welcome pack was very much appreciated especially the fruit cake and fresh milk in the fridge. The dogs were not forgotten as dog treats had also been left for them. We have previously stayed in other "dog friendly cottages" but have been disappointed by the lack of security for the dogs in the garden. The enclosed garden at the Dairy was ideal and we didn't have any worries about the dogs safety. The provision of special dog tags with Pack Holiday phone contact number is also a nice thought. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves although they considered the residential pigeons were trespassing! We loved the area and the dogs enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach at Becton which is only about 10 minutes drive from the cottage. Gail is always very helpful answering all our questions. We certainly hope to return again next year.”
- Helen
“Our family arrived home yesterday after a wonderful weeks stay at New Mill in Stalham Staithe, a beautiful home with all you could possibly need for a comfortable stay and more! Perfectly placed near to so many of Norfolk’s beautiful beaches, which making the most of the heatwave we visited everyday! We also were able to walk over the road and hire a boat out at Simpson’s for a few hours on the Broads. Gail is great, professional, a wealth of knowledge with perfect communications throughout. Our first holiday with our 2 year old Yorkiepoo Mabel. Thank you Pack Holidays we all had a ball :)”
- Emma Dunbabin
“Had a brilliant time at Herring house 3 people and 8 dogs miles of sandy beach 5 minutes walk a local dog friendly pub in the village the cottage had everything humans and dogs needed we will definitely be using pack holidays again”
- lindsay paipala
“We had the most amazing holiday with pack holiday! Heath cottage was amazing , had all a dog needs , every detail thought of : huge sunny garden , dog beds , picnic bag , beautiful house , very high standard, it was heavingky!! Gail the host was amazing and attentive . I can not recommend the house highly enough , only 10 min from sea palling with amazing beach , can’t wait to be back ”
- Sharon ogilvie
“Another wonderful holiday at Winterton staying at Herring House with our two lurchers. An idyllic village with everything you could wish for despite the lockdown restrictions. The cottage itself is really comfortable and spacious with excellent vehicle access and parking. It is very well equipped with every need provided for. We have booked already for next year and will look forward to many happy hours on the beautiful beaches and the excellent service provided by Gail and her team! Jim, Judy, Daisy and Dilly ”
- Jim Norden
“We have just returned from a week at Mimi Cottage in Sea Palling. The cottage is at the end of a quiet lane with one other cottage next door set a little back so you still have complete privacy whilst sitting out enjoying the uninterrupted countryside views. The cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable with very comfortable beds. There is a large garden for your dogs to run around in as well as a patio with 2 x picnic tables for eating outside. It is a 10 minute walk to the seafront which is also dog friendly as long as you turn right on the beach. you might even spot some seals. Just one thing to note as the cottage is next door to arable land there are lots of canon bird scarers going off throughout the day and if your pooch is sensitive to noise, as ours is, they may find it a bit unsettling. All in all we had a fab weeks stay at Mimi cottage. Gail was brilliant from our first enquiry to sorting our hot tub and all the uncertainty around Covid 19. we will definitely use Pack Holidays when we visit Norfolk again.”
- Mrs Baker
“Fantastic customer service and the cottage we stayed in was perfect ”
- Matthew Wormald
“My partner and I have just returned from a long weekend at Misty Meadow, Hickling, with our 3 setters. We had a very muddy and sandy holiday but Misty meadow was perfectly equipped to deal with this. On arrival the house was set in a tranquil village, with pub a couple of minutes walk away and the dog friendly beach of Sea Palling a 10 minute drive, it was the perfect location. The house itself was spotless and although it had the capacity to sleep 12 people, it remained cosy and homely. The log burner was a real plus! The garden is huge and very secure, a certain highlight of the trip for our pups and a stress free holiday for me as I didn’t have to worry about them getting out. The welcome pack including sausages, bacon and wine was greatly appreciated too . Gail (pack holidays) was fabulous and made the booking process easy and seamless. We booked extremely last minute (the evening before) and Gail sorted it all out so quickly, we were ready to go the next morning! The price was also very reasonable. We highly recommend Misty Meadow for any group size and we cannot wait to return ”
- Jessica B
“The Beach Hut in Cromer is a beautiful little house in a perfect location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the town, where there are plenty of dog friendly cafés etc. Sinead was very happy about all of the exploring she could do here! Lucy, the owner of the Beach Hut, has thought of everything and has a well equipped kitchen as well as all the things your dog might need so no need to bring things like bowls and toys (unless your pooch has a favourite of course!). Thank you Pack Holidays for a great break with Sinead! ”
- Anna
“5 adults, 2 children and 4 hounds recently spent a fab weekend at wonderful Misty Meadow in Hickling. Loads of space, lovely and clean, large garden and super dog friendly. The house is in a great location, very peaceful. Gail at Pack Holidays was as brilliantly helpful as always! ”
- Suz Fenn
“Just returned home after a lovely holiday, with my five dogs at Oak Cottage East Ruston.. The house was amazing I instantly felt welcome and relaxed... truly dog friendly.. The gardens were fabulous and totally secure. Gail at Pack Holidays was so helpful and the welcome packs were stunning. It was so nice to be able to take the dogs out around the fields and lanes nearby, didn’t use my car all week. There is even a warm dog shower, to rinse off muddy paws. They have thought of everything, I can’t wait to return. X”

“Having spent a lovely week at Crincle Cottage in September with our 5 dogs we decided to have a Christmas away this year (2019) at Misty Meadow in Hickling with the rest of the family. A big thank you to Gail and the owners of Misty Meadow - it is a lovely property with lots of space for a large family and all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The large lounge benefits from four leather sofas and an armchair and also has a lovely multifuel stove which makes it feel so homely at this time of year! The bonuses for dog owners are the large and secure rear garden, two downstairs bedrooms and toilet and all hard flooring dowstairs making the job of keeping clean at this time of year so much easier with lots of wet, muddy feet! There are some lovely walks almost straight out of the front door and two very warm and welcoming village pubs in easy walking distance - the Greyhound & the Pleasure Boat Inn both of which serve good home cooked food. Sea Palling is only a 5 minute drive away for those with dogs that love to swim. We spent a couple of hours there on a beautifully clear and sunny Christmas morning with the dogs and it brings home to you what is really important in life - making the dogs happy! Thanks again Gail. ”

“Decided to have a last minute break in Norfolk and Gail found the perfect cottage for us and our three dogs . The dairy at North Walsham was a fab base for visiting the seals and nearby beaches . The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed , including an enclosed courtyard for our dogs to run free . Welcome basket for us and the dogs was much appreciated . Looking forward to booking another break soon with pack holidays ”

“We have just had a fantastic Christmas at The beach hut Cromer. What a lovely place, it had e everything we needed and was very comfortable. Nelson our four legged family member soon settled in and absolutely loved the treats that had been left for him. The location was superb with a two minute walk to the beach, shops and pubs. We definitely hope to return.”
- Millie
“We had a fabulous time at the Beach Hut, Cromer with our 2 dogs. It is in a great location with the beach and town centre just a few minutes walk away. We loved the accommodation which is beautifully furnished and really warm and inviting. The homemade treats on arrival for both us and our pooches were really thoughtful and the Christmas tree and decorations made our stay extra special! Loved it!! ”
- Loulla Woods
“We cannot express how amazing the Oak Cottage is for dogs, humans and children! Gill made it such a wonderful stay and we truly felt welcome. It's wonderful to not have to constantly worry about the dog because it's clear that this is a place for them :) it was also great that there was a bedroom downstairs and away from the others for the smaller kids so they have their own space where they didn't need to go upstairs. Wonderful cottage and lovely location! Thank you, Gill! ”
- Charlie Wakinson
“Fenside in Sea Palling has provided excellent accommodation and dog friendly holiday for the second year in a row. The house and garden are great and the morning geese flight provided lots of entertainment for the dogs. Pack Holidays are truly dog friendly and being able to take all my dogs on holiday is something not many so called dog friendly holidays will allow you to do. Dogs are the heart of all holidays here and the humans are just there to drive them, feed them and take them to the beach of course (which is only a 5 minute walk from the house, unless you have nosy pugs like me, then it’s about 15!) I would highly recommend Pack Holidays to anyone that wants to take their fur babies on holiday to somewhere they are truly welcomed and valued as guests!”
- Emma Ellisob
“Just back from a week at Oak Cottage, Happisburgh Common. I have stayed in around 12 cottages in the last 4 years and this one if my favourite so far. I couldn't fault anything. Clean, warm, well equipped. Lovely big comfortable sofas, Sky TV with a good selection of films already downloaded, comfortable beds for both humans and dogs. Even the neighbours stopped to say hello with one bringing the dogs some treats on a couple of occasions. Perfect for exploring Norfolk”
- Michelle Allen
“It was simply fantastic - would give more than 5 out of 5 if it were possible - accomodation perfect and the enclosed back garden was a huge bonus - our family and extended to the 3 dogs enjoyed it - great location, quiet, relaxing.”
- Dave & Janine Sansom
“Just back from a wonderful stay at Crincle Cottage, couldn't fault anything about the place once again another Gem from Pack Holidays. ”
- Steve & Mandy Coles
“Have just got back from a week in the Beach Hut. The property was fab with everything you could wish for, provided for both four legged and two legged visitors. This place was a real home from home. Situation in Cromer is perfect being able to walk to beach and town within minutes and dogs welcome almost everywhere. We always take throws to cover furniture having three lurchers, but it’s so nice for dogs to have their comfort without feeling like your ‘breaking the rules’. Would recommend to everyone who loves holidays with their ‘best friends’ and hope to book through pack holidays again.”
- Dawn, Ash with Bo, Bonnie and Bertie
“We stayed at The Oaks, Ludham. We can't recommend it highly enough. Not only is it a brilliant holiday home for humans, but it caters completely for dogs too. They supply everything, dog towels, bowls, tags, treats, dog shower, throws in case they want to lie on the furniture, vet contact details and it's in a lovely dog friendly area. We'll definitely be back....a real home from home!”
- Barbara Morris

- Sheila Brace
“What can I say except what a great holiday. We stayed at Crincle Cottage and from the organisation of the trip via Gail at pack holidays, to the location, the quality of the cottage and how dog friendly Norfolk is there can be absolutely no complaint. My rescue doggie is very anxious and this was a perfect place to stay. Cannot recommend enough ”
- Sarah Canavan
“Oh My!! What a great holiday we have just had with friends in Echoes at Sea Palling. Our second visit to that particular cottage and our 4th Pack holiday. This time there were 4 humans and 15 dogs - and yes there was plenty of room for everyone!!! Fully secure back garden made this a very relaxing holiday knowing our packs couldn't escape. Very dog friendly pub down the road - The Reef Bar - that also does great food. Beach walks galore both close by and within a short drive. Can't wait for the next visit!”
- Jane Dickerson
“Superb service from start to finish with Pack Holidays and Crincle Cottage was just fantastic with our five dogs. We'll definitely be back!”
- Fiona Barrett
“Stayed for a weeks relaxation with my partner and our three German Shepherds. Beautifully set out accommodation , with an enclosed cobbled yard. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is in The Dairy, you just bring food and clothes. You would never think that dogs have been in the property before, as they are spotlessly clean. The property is a credit to the Owner and Gail from Pack Holidays The town of North Walsham, is a lovely dog friendly place, (In fact so is Norfolk) Close to the beaches, about a 15 min drive, Happisburgh was my favourites, two lovely National Trust properties are close by with grounds to walk the dogs. If you are looking for somewhere to stay with your dogs look no further than Pack Holidays.”
- Claire Miller
“Misty Meadow - What a wonderful house and garden. We've just returned from a fantastic holiday there. It was so relaxing. Ten minutes from the Broads and the beach! The dogs loved being able to run around in the very large enclosed garden and we loved the peaceful surroundings, with everything we needed close at hand. Everything was so clean and tidy and in good order and of such a great standard. We couldn't ask for more. We're definately booking for next year. Thank you so much. It was just what we needed and the owners Alan and Claire and Gail at Pack Holidays were amazing!! 11 out of 10 !!!”
- Donna & Mick
“How many holiday companies say dogs allowed and then you find out 2 small dogs only if your that lucky and find extra charges, unsafe gardens & so many rules it makes your head spin? Well you stay with Pack holidays all gardens are safe, unlimited dogs in most properties at no extra charge. All the dog bits like leads etc if you've forgotten or lost yours even dog tags with direct contact to Gail if dog has been lost.. We have just had our 2nd stay this year in lovely Echoes in glorious Sea Palling that is also so dog friendly. Large clean house with a safe back garden and close to all Sea Pallings dog friendly beach. Throws so our dogs could get comfy on the sofas and treats left for us as well as our 3 dogs.. Already booked again for next year. ”
- June Sparrow
“Firstly, one of the biggest reasons for booking with Pack Holidays is the proprietor Gail Adams. I spoke with Gail at length before booking with them because being totally honest I was completely fed up of booking supposed dog friendly places, searching the terms and conditions and then arriving to find a long list of “rules” about what your dog can and can’t do - no dogs on the settee, dogs must stay in the kitchen etc etc. This is fine if you know in advance and you can make the choice not to book with them as they are not, in my opinion dog friendly. After speaking with Gail I really trusted her that her company is different and I wasn’t disappointed. The stayed at The Oaks in Ludham, a lovely well appointed bungalow in a quiet lane a stones throw from the village and also country lanes. Dog towels, throws, bowls, even holiday dog tags are included. The garden is totally safe and secure, there is even a warm dog shower outside. Several dog friendly fabulous beaches are a short drive away. If you want a holiday that truly caters for you and your dogs and deal with a really friendly small holiday company then you really can’t get any better than Pack Holidays.”
- Caroline Whitehurst
“Just spent 5 night at Crincle Cottage. What a fantastic place to take our 3 dogs, so close to the beach. Close to fabulous walks and villages. Can not recommend highly enough. Home from home. Secluded & peaceful. Treats galore for humans & canines. Such a lovely touch from Gail, with a beautifully made cake for our wedding anniversary xx ”
- Paula Nussey
“Mum, I and the 'girls' recently had a short break at Crincle Cottage and it was everything we needed and hoped it would be! A lovely cottage, very quiet position and a great enclosed garden. The view, across to the dunes meant we also got to enjoy some amazing skies. The bridle path which runs to the dunes alongside the house was fantastic for walking the dogs and across the road, the pathway takes you almost to the entrance of Horsey Windpump a mere 0.5 miles away. Gail couldn't have been more helpful (answering all my random questions!) and we'll most definitely be back.”
- Jane, Yvonne, Scoobs and Teaasel
“Just spent another week at Crincle Cottage in Horsey. Had another great time there. Lovely homely property in a fabulous location. The Nelso Head just a couple of hundred yards up the road, and the seals on Horsey beach a leisurely stroll down a safe track with no vehicular access onto either the Norfolk Coastal Path or onto the beach. Hopefully back again next year. Great Dog Friendly Holiday. Many thanks to Gail and the team at Pack Holidays. Sue & Steve Ashover Hay Derbyshire”
- Steve Marsden
“Stayed in Misty Meadow with friends and four dogs. The garden was perfect for the dogs and very secure. The house was super. Kitchen well equipped. We cooked most evenings. No major issues and tiny light issue was dealt with promptly by owner. The care and attention to detail was perfect. I highly recommend this holiday home and a big WOOF from the dogs! Thanks to the team x”
- Alessandra Rocco
“Another wonderful holiday at Fenside at Sea Palling. Total peace and relaxation. Ire over the fields is amazing inc watching the deer in the evenings. Five minutes walk takes you to the wonderful dog friendly beach. Simply love it here. ”

With 3 dogs and 2 small children the cottage was perfect for us and with the beach on the doorstep it was excellent to keep everyone entertained. The cottage had everything we needed, including a yummy cake and dog treats on arrival. We will soon be booking next years adventure ”

“Eden Hall Cottage - Bacton We had a fabulous week in Norfolk. The cottage is really lovely and Bacton beach is just a five minute walk away. The beach is perfect for dogs and as an alternative, Bacton Wood and Pigney Wood are not far away. Many thanks to Gail and her team for a wonderful holiday. ”
- Helena Honarmand
“Just returned from a wonderful week staying at Oak Cottage in Happisburg. Had a brilliant time - such a lovely Cottage with everything you and your dog(s) could possibly want - a real home from home. Thanks Gail as always for all your help and to the owners Frankie & Fraser for letting us stay. Been to quite a few 'Pack' cottages now (they have all been lovely) and can't wait for our next one - highly recommended! Thank you also for the delicious welcome pack and Teddy (our Cockapoo) loved his treats!”
- Allen & Lyn
“I’ve just spent a week’s holiday with my greyhound and whippet in The Beach Hut, Cromer. It’s a gem of a cottage in the heart of Cromer, 5mins from the beach and close to National Trust properties Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. Very well equipped and immensely comfortable with everything you could need for a holiday, including huge TVs, WiFi, comfy beds, plenty of sofas with throws for the dogs, fully fitted kitchen, fab shower, sumptuous towels and even a roll top bath ! Cromer itself is very welcoming to dogs, plenty of cafes and pubs allow you to take your dog with you. Highly recommmended cottage in a great location.”
- Sue Brown
“Just back from a lovely stay at Oak Cottage in Happisburgh. What a fabulous cottage - thoughtful touches throughout and the dog security was thoroughly tested by the escape artiste of the pack, who gave it 5 out of 5 stars - great to drive in, close the gates and just let the dogs straight out. Cottage was beautiful throughout. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with lots of very quiet walks from the door, loads of wildlife and few minutes drive to lots of sandy quiet beaches - loved it so much have booked to stay again.”
- Dee
“Just returned from oak cottage, East Ruston, great dog friendly cottage, plenty of room for 5 adults and 5 dogs, everything catered for a relaxing holiday. The garden is completely secure so no worries about inquisitive terriers escaping. Lovely walks from the cottage along quiet lanes and footpaths in beautiful countryside. Really can't fault it if you want a peaceful break and Gail has everything covered for a real dog friendly stay. Highly recommend pack holidays”
- Sarah Hyde
“Are you fed up with being charged for your dogs? Being told that more than 2 is not allowed? So was I. Just spent a fantastic week in Echos Sea Palling with my 3 dogs. House spacious with all doggie throws, bowls, leads, holiday name tags, dog treats. Echos was clean and warm and down a quiet road but a very short walk from glorious beach and fields. Will definitely return. ”
- June Sparrow
“We stayed at Heath Cottage, Hickling during May 2019 and found it to be one of the best dog friendly cottages that we have stayed in over the past 10 years. It has every amenity that any 2 or 4 legged visitor could wish for and ideally located for fantastic local beaches, pubs and sights of Norfolk. Gail at packholidays manages the booking with great efficiency and clearly runs the business with passion & enthusiasm. The accommodation is traditionally cosy with the added feature of a magnificent sun conservatory & fully enclosed garden. We would recommend this Company and this particular property without hesitation. Thanks for a great break.”
- Sandy & Gary Gray and Charlie the Labrador
“My daughter, Carly the dog and myself have just enjoyed a lovely stay at Heath Cottage. We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was lovely and clean and comfortable and the garden was so nice for us and Carly. We were very lucky with the weather for March and were able to enjoy lunch in the garden and the days it was too cold for outside we took advantage of the conservatory bringing the garden in to us. The location of Heath Cottage was ideal for touring round the area. I have to say that getting used to the staircase took a little time and a cautious decent.”
- Jackie Quinn
“Three adults and four dogs stayed at Oak Cottage East Ruston March 19. Upon arrival we were delighted to find a very generous welcome pack the best we have ever had and there were even home baked biscuits for the dogs! The cottage was well equipped and the garden spacious with lovely field views. There were walks nearby and the beaches a short drive away. Gail was a super host and kindly went out of her way to help when we realised we had forgotten something. She clearly cares very much about her job and aims to give you and your dogs the best holiday ever. ”
- Wendy Hayes
“I stayed at ”Fenside” in Sea Palling last week for 7 nights with my family (5 people & 6 dogs). We had the most wonderful time. The location of Febsude is beautiful. It’s at the end of a lane and has oven views as far as the eye can see over farmland, it’s less than 10 mins walk to the beach, perfect! Inside the cottage was cosy, yet spacious. The heating is very efficient and it was very snug. There were hard, dog-friendly floors downstairs & carpet upstairs. There was a stair gate at the cottage so we used it to stop the dogs going upstairs although they are allowed. Everything we wanted was available including spare dog beds & dog treats. The garden is secure but the fence is only around 3.5 foot high, which was fine for us as none of our attempted to jump out. Frankly a higher fence would spoil the lovely view. I can not recommend this cottage enough, nor the owner of Pack Holidays, Gail; she was very thorough & efficient throughout: from the point of booking, to a query we had during the week, through to returning our security deposit after the holiday. Definitely recommend Pack Holidays & Fenside (and also The Dairy where I stayed last year).”
- Jacqui
“We had a fantastic time at Fenside and everything we could need was thought of including spare leads, ID tags and a lovely welcome pack which thought of both humans and canines alike. It was our first time visiting Norfolk so the information book the owners had compiled covered any questions we had (local walks, where to find things etc). Sea Palling beach is just a short walk away and it's beautiful, the dogs loved it! If you get a chance to go to Horsey to see the seals then go, it's a wonderful sight :) Will definitely return to Fenside again.”
- Alexandra Seal
“Pack Holidays - The Oaks - Ludham We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at The Oaks, the bungalow was immaculately clean and tidy, secure garden and everything we could need for us or the 4 dogs was provided, dog beds, poo bags, dog towels, a hot and cold dog shower in the garden, luxury. The welcoming brownies and dog biscuits were very welcome after our 3 hour drive. Will be looking to rebook soon. ”
- Samantha Baker
“Friday 1st - Monday 4th February 2019 @ Oak Cottage Happisburgh. What a stunning little place, first impressions left us lost for words! A real home from home and everything really has been thought about, down to the fine decorative detail. A true retreat for the dogs, comfy beds and a superb secure garden, that they absolutely loved! I can see this place becoming very very popular over the coming year, it deserves it 100%! The cottage itself is situated in a gorgeous location, a lovely base to get out and explore with beaches only a few moments drive away, the closest being Cart Gap which is just down the road. We’ve had a wonderful short break and really didn’t want to leave, already planning on when to return, hopefully next time will be longer. Thank you again Gail and her team, cannot wait to be back in Norfolk again in October for our 6th Pack Holiday! ”
- Jordan Wardle
“Beautiful place in lovely peaceful surroundings. Very clean and welcoming. The Xmas decorations were a nice surprise and very much appreciated. The dogs were made very welcome and loved their treats and meat loaf! Fenside was so homely and comfortable we would loved to have stayed for Christmas! Would love to visit again soon. Thank you everyone for letting us stay. Mary.”
- Mary Findley
“Stayed at Crinkle Cottage for a long weekend to see the seals. Had out 4 mutts with us and they were truly welcome. Makes a lovely change for a house to welcome pets. Garden was very secure and we all had a lovely time with doggy biscuits and a lovely Victoria sponge on arrival which was very welcome. Have already booked for next year”
- Patrick & Amanda Miller
“Had a great cheeky break at Snowdrop Cottage Winterton. Absolutely perfect. Very well equipped and dog friendly with everything you could need. Perfect location only a few minutes walk to the dunes and the beach. Seeing the baby seals on the beach was magical. Gail was amazing sorting out a problem with the wifi. Highly recommended.”
- Wendy Halling
“We had a very relaxing 3 night stay in November in Crincle cottage along with our spaniel. The cottage is in such a quiet location that we couldn't tell what time it was in the morning! It is very cosy and attractively done up, and we didn't have to stress about our dog going upstairs with us :-). We visited the seals and the Broads. Would definitely would recommend.”
- Emma Baker
“Had a lovely stay at Poet’s Corner. Great place with huge, enclosed garden. Our hounds liked a good run it in! Thank you for the tasty cake & dog treats. Excellent service from Gail at Pack Holidays. Norfolk is beautiful and so dog-friendly. Thanks 😊”
- Helen
“Would like to say a huge thanks to Gail at Pack Holidays for arranging our short stay at The Oaks in Ludham, Norfolk for 3 adults & 4 small dogs. The Oaks is a wonderful property situated in a lovely village in a perfect position for walking along the broads or for visiting the many beautiful beaches in the surrounding areas. The property is a dog owners dream with underfloor heating three spacious bedrooms and a large reception and kitchen area complete with a log burner. The local pub is very welcoming and serves good quality local food at decent prices. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back for a return visit. Thanks again Ian & Sharon”
- Ian Thompson
“We returned to Crincle for a full week this time. Our Gsd-Lolly- loved the garden again and made full use of it. It is great not having to worry where your dog is in the house. Too many supposedly dog friendly cottages have instructions as to where your dog can or can't go in the property, and you only find out once you arrive! Nice to be able to open the door and head off for a walk straight away too. The absence of clocks in the house is great too, we just read, walked, watched dvds, walked , ate etc etc. came home fully relaxed. A minor problem arose which Gail would have had sorted the next morning, but thankfully it self sorted!! Dealing with Gail is always a pleasure, and she makes the whole booking process so easy.”
- Peter, Maureen and GSD Lolly
“Recently stayed at Daisy Cottage all I can say is wonderful! Exceptionally clean very comfortable and so close to a wonderful beach and dog friendly pub cafe etc. Will defo return !”
- Bryan Harverson
“Just spent 4th holiday at delightful Snowdrop, through Pack Holidays. Gail is super helpful, and this time I took daughter in law and granddaughter, my 3 little dogs, and their big GSDX. Perfectly placed in Winterton for walks on either the dunes or the beach. Plenty of throws, bowls, toys & towels for dogs, and comfy beds for humans after a days walk. Stay number 5 is already booked and it can’t come soon enough!”
- Sally Begley
“We can really recommend Pack Holidays and Stable Cottage, every consideration for dog owners, and Gail Adams could not have been more helpful. Our cottage, Stable Cottage, was charming and tasteful, simple but well equipped and extremely well thought out for dogs and their owners. Good quality clean bedding, towels and water bowl provided for pets. We were able to totally relax in the charming cottage with its small but beautifully planted, leafy and secure garden. There is very easy access to the field behind the property for early and late short walks with dogs. We only needed to travel short distances to the wonderful dog friendly beaches on the Norfolk coast, perfect with miles of firm sand as the tide went out. Relaxing all round! ”
- Penny Bradley
“Had a wonderful week convalescing at Oak Cottage with just me, my dog 5and my mum. The house is very clean, warm, well equipped and comfortable. The beds are heavenly! It’s in an ideal location for dog walks from the door along Weavers Way, on footpaths around the village or my dog’s favourite - East Ruston Common which is beautifully wild as commons used to be. It’s also very easy to get out and about with beaches, Bacton Woods and the Broads all well under 20 minutes away by car. Had delicious home made cake at Smallsticks and Charlotte’s cafe. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were reluctant to leave. Although I think the dog was happy to leave the ‘doggy dungeon’ - dog showers - behind.”
- Christine
“Just spent a week at Crincle Cottage, Horsey and had a wonderful holiday with 4 humans and 5 dogs. Great location close to Horsey beach (and the seals) and just a stone’s throw from The Nelson’s Head pub. Very cosy, very quiet and VERY dog friendly. Thanks for a great base for a great holiday and look forward to visiting again. Steve & Sue, Linda & Alan, 2 whippets an 3 Italian greyhounds. ”
- Steve Marsden

“Rose Farm, Hickling Our first visit to Norfolk. We used Pack Holidays on a recommendation from a friend. Four of us and a dog. The cottage (I say cottage, but it’s a large property!) was well equipped and clean. Great garden area for the dog too. Loved arriving to biscuits, milk and bread as just what we needed! 2 great pubs in walking distance- one of them providing Himself with the best steak he’d ever had! Lovely dog friendly beaches at Sea Palling and Cromer. There’s a field near to the cottage where the dogs can be exercised. We hired a boat too and explored The Broads. A lovely, relaxing holiday - just what we needed. 😀ðŸ•ðŸ˜€”
- Emma Pearce
“Echoes, what can I say a wonderful house, with everything you could wish for, our dog loved it and didn’t want to come home, lots of walks and off course the beach, can recommend Gail and her team enough this is our second stay with Pack holidays in different houses, and we are looking forward to our stay later on in the year. “3rd-10th Aug 2018. 2 Adults, 2 kids, 4 dogs. Just had an amazing stay at The Mill, Martham. A unique and wonderful windmill, keeping true to its natural features, beautifully quirky. Quiet location right on the river with use of a boat to travel the broads. Who could wish for more, certainly not me! Can't recommend Pack Holidays enough will be using them again. Jan the owner of the property excels in being dog friendly and catered for all our needs. Special memories made :)”
- Kat Mason
“Myself plus 7 friends and 15 dogs have just returned from a very comfortable Oak Cottage in East Ruston. It's a short walk from dog friendly Butchers Arms where we were able to get gluten free and vegetarian meals. The cottage itself has a nice sized fully enclosed garden with seating outside and a barbecue. It is comfortably furnished inside and very clean. The Location is excellent giving easy access to beaches, woods, riverside walks, Norfolk Broads and National Trust properties, all within a thirty minute drive. We even managed a trip on the Mississippi River Boat along with all our dogs. Gail who looks after Pack Holiday bookings is very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return.”
- Sue Jones
“Just spent a great week at Poets Corner in Mundesley, booked through Pack Holidays. Weather was gorgeous, pleasingly cooler than Cambridge! The house is light and airy and with its mature gardens with plenty of trees there is planets of shade for humans and dogs! Well equipped for eating in if you want and plenty of places to eat out means it caters for all. Very comfortable to relax and comfy beds. We had a very relaxing week. We’ve been many times to North Norfolk, Mundesley is a nice low key family resort, blue flag beach for families and not too far to go for those of us with dogs. More beaches at Happisburgh, Cart Gap ands Sea Palling. Nice flat promenade walks at Walcott with ice creams and fish and chips! Woodland walks at Pigely woods and Bacton woods (still one of our favourites). Highly recommended. ”
- John Pritchard

“Just returned from a week at lovely Fenside, Sea Palling. Myself, hubby and our 5 pooches had an amazing restful, peaceful holiday. Fenside cottage is just wonderful and homely with everything you could possibly need supplied by the extremely thoughtful and generous owners. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The décor is fresh and modern with a really homely welcoming feel and a lovely large kitchen...and the views out across the garden....fields and cows in the distance for as far as you can see. After a lovely walk on huge sandy Sea Palling beach, just 10 mins walk from Fenside, we would sit in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine and just listen to the birds and the peace and quiet.....just wonderful. Thank you to Gail at Pack Holidays and the owners of Fenside for our lovely holiday.”
- Sharon Hutchison

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful cottage. Thank you.”

“Have just returned from our 2nd visit to Poets Corner in Mundesley, this is truly a beautiful and spotlessly clean property. From the quality beds and bedding to the very generous welcome package, and the biscuits for the dog, it makes you feel instantly relaxed which is what a holiday is all about. 2 minutes walk to a lovely village with a good range of shops, and 5 minutes to the sea front and dog friendly pub and tearooms. From booking to details of location etc, all carried out with the personal touch, have recommended to all my doggie friends, and will booking again for next year.”

“We had a superb holiday at the Stable Cottage, our second stay in Marshgate (Dairy Cottage last time). The cottage was very quiet and considering it is near the town, you feel like you are in the country. The cottage had all amenities you could ever need for a break away, including a bed comfy bed for the pooches, which Skye loved and would not share. The little treats for us hoomans and pooches is a lovely touch. We would highly recommend staying here and will defiantly be coming back. Thank you Gail, Simon and his family ”
- Carolyn, Paul, Emily and pooches Skye and Roxy
“We have just had our second stay at Neaps in Hickling. Pack Holidays make sure that every detail is accommodated. Their attention to detail ensures that the holiday with your dogs is a dream. Neaps is perfect for someone with limited mobility. The garden is dog proof and great for a speedy run around. We love Neaps and Pack Holidays. ”
- Dorothea Georgeson
“Just back from an all too short break at Heath Cottage Lovely house, so well equipped with a very secure dog proof garden. Local beaches are fantastic, cafe at Cart Gap lovely and you must look up the Gunton Arms on route to Cromer BUT our “Star of our holiday “ was definitely Gail herself We had a problem whilst we were there and this lovely, smiley lady moved Heaven and earth to help us Thanks Gail ”

“Crincle Cottage was everything it was advertised as. We only stayed for 3 nights as it was an experiment with our rescue dog. She loved the large fully enclosed garden and had a great time playing there. The location was perfect with just an adjoining property within earshot! Ten minutes walking took us to the seals and sand dunes, and two minutes the other way was the Nelson Head pub, great food, very friendly staff. The Cottage itself was well equipped and comfortable and clean. Gail made the booking process very easy and was always available should we have needed her. We had a nice tea at Poppylands too, again very friendly people. We intend to return to Crincle for a longer stay.”
- Peter, Maureen and GSD Lolly
“Had a lovely week at Misty Meadow in Hickling. So quiet, huge garden and plenty of space for our Great Dane and toddler to play. Lots of child & dog friendly places. Will definitely be returning”
- Kelly Schrader
“Just had a fabulous stay at Heath Cottage. There’s such a difference between ‘dog friendly’ and actually welcoming dogs. Beds, towels, treats, poo bags and more all provided - couldn’t want for more. Add that to great pubs within walking distance - that also welcome dogs - and beaches where Jay could walk and swim. Heaven for him and us. Thank you!!”
- Kay
“Our third stay at the lovely Snowdrop Cottage and hopefully it won't be our last. It's in a perfect location for the dunes and beach at Winterton and our GSDX Harley, absolutely loves his holidays there. It has always been a pleasure to correspond with Gail at Pack Holidays and nothing has ever been too much trouble for her. If you're thinking about booking, do it, you won't regret it.”
- Alyson
“Thank you Gail for a wonderful stay at the Dairy. We fell in love with Norfolk and the beautiful beaches. The Dairy is a stunning, beautifully appointed holiday cottage. The location is perfect for a short stroll into charming North Walsham or a short drive to the long sandy beaches or roam around Bacton Woods. Fen and Ralph loved running around all the wide open spaces. We cannot wait to return. Matt and Kenny xx”

“We’ve just returned home from 4 days in Stable Cottage with our two miniature Schnauzers. The cottage is lovely, comfy & the garden is very dog proof! We can vouch for that as our youngest is a bit of an escape artist. We can’t thank Gail enough for all of her help in arranging this break for us with less than a weeks notice. The fudge, cake, apple juice & doggy biscuits were fab too! Can’t wait to go back to this lovely peaceful cottage. Eric, our older dog even used the dog bed and he’s a real fusspot! ”
- Catherine Dickey
“I've been on several Pack Holidogs and have always been delighted. I've holidayed (is that a word?) with multiple people and dogs, with elderly relatives with mobility problems and as a solo traveler when I wanted to get away for some solitude with my doggy pals. Gail at Pack Holidays has always had the perfect house or cottage available and been really helpful recommending the best place for the group. I'd personally never use anyone else, and as they keep adding great new houses to their portfolio I don't think I'll need to! ”
- Emma Hardern
“Lovely 2 weeks at Snowdrop Cottage - lovely and quiet and very relaxing. The cottage was a real home from home to stay in - very cosy and everything had been thought of - from the great enclosed front courtyard, dog throws and bowls to the blocks provided for the side gate - which stopped the little escape artiste of the pack squeezing under , so garden super secure! Thoughtful e mail from Gail when the Beast from the East struck and we were able to extend our stay to beat driving through the madness. Would definitely stay at the cottage again - had a great time”

“What an absolutely fabulous weekend away at Crincle Cottage! This was our first stay at this glorious cottage and it really did not disappoint any of us, we didn’t want to leave when the weekend came to an end. The location is ideal if you want to get away from everything and just completely relax, you’re surrounded by nothing but fields and the quiet sound of nature! The beach is a 10/15 minute walk away and there is even a pub within staggering distance, you can see it from the lounge window. The food is divine and the drinks are priced really well, definitely worth the visit and the atmosphere is lovely. Cottage was spotless and it has everything you need and expect within a holiday home, to make it comfortable and relaxing. The garden is a very good size for the dogs to explore and have a good run, my 3 had more than enough fun out there, This was my 3rd holiday with Pack holidays since October 2017 and now won’t go anywhere else with the dogs, cannot wait to be back at Poets Corner in october! As long as Pack holidays keeps going, we will continue to come back as much as we possibly can! Thankyou Gail to you and your team for creating fabulously stress free holidays!! ”
- Jordan Wardle
“Just returned from Poets Corner, a beautiful cottage, very spacious well equipped and extremely warm and comfortable, very homely. The garden was great for 3 medium sized dogs and totally secure, couldn’t get them to come in. Situated right at the centre of the village with all amenities and the wide sandy beach perfect for dogs within 5 minutes walk. A visit to the seals at Horsey was well worth the drive. Having visited in the worst weather of the winter, Gail was very accomodatin in allowing us to be flexible with our stay due to such bad driving conditions caused by the snow. We will return, hopefully in warmer weather but would highly recommend both the property and the village at any time.”
- Pauline Mawson
“We had the most amazing family weekend, extremely dog friendly. Very welcoming and had thought of everything (dog towels, dog showers, fenced off garden) It was a beautiful property and so close to beautiful beach walks. Our 5 pooches loved their stay :) Thank you so much Gail x”

“We recently had a short break at the wonderful Heath Cottage. A gorgeous, well equipped cottage, which was hard to leave! There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived and it was 100% pet friendly with biscuits, bowls, beds and throws for the furniture so you could enjoy a cuddle with the dogs. Peaceful and relaxing, we will definitely be back. Thanks Gail! ”
- Suz Fenn
“We stayed at Heath Cottage over New Year for 4 nights. Spotless accommodation with everything you could need. A lovely welcome pack of milk, eggs, cake & dog treats. With 2 teenage children & a dog, we appreciated it being a three bedroom cottage. Beautiful garden ideal for our dog to explore. A lovely quiet village in easy reach of the beautiful beaches of Norfolk. We visited Winterton, Wells & Cromer whilst there. Thank you, Gail, for helping us book & your friendly & Helpful communication throughout. I'm sure we'll book with you again :)”
- Lucie Brady
“Have just spent an idyllic long week end at Oak Cottage. What a find, we just couldn’t believe how well the three dogs we had with us were catered for, you really don’t need to take anything apart from food for them. Gail had even provided dog tags with the cottages address on, that is so thoughtful. You wouldn’t expect the standard of furniture that there is in a house that is so 100% dog friendly. Everything was so perfect, it was a very cold weekend but the cottage was toasty warm with the added advantage of a wood burner which wasn’t necessary but oh so Casey. Thank you Gail, Brian and Lynda Knights”
- Lynda knights
“Just returned from a week at Crincle Cottage In Horsey. The cottage was what we expected & much more. It’s very dog friendly, and the homemade dog biscuits went down well with all my dogs....The location is perfect if you want to get away from it all, perfect for dog walks & visits to the beach. We will definitely be returning! ”

“Just come back from a week's holiday at Neaps. Love restful location. Easy journeys to several dog friendly beaches. Cottage Comfortable and well appointed. Garden really is completely secure for two Jack Russells! ”
- Philippa Finlay
“We have just returned from our stay at Poets Corner. The house is amazing. A true home from home, immaculately clean, very tastefully furnished and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is infact my dream home let alone a holiday let! Mundesley is a lovely village and very central. We had days out to Wroxham and went boating, Horsey to see the seals (amazing) and not forgetting the lovely beach right on our doorstep. Corner House Cafe was great for light lunches. When I book things online with just pictures to go by I always feel a little anxious but Poets Corner completely exceeded our expectations. We are already planning our next trip there! ”
- Thelma Dionisiou
“Wonderful stay at Heath Cottage - such a great place to stay - everything you could want for both dogs and us. Lovely walk from the door and a pub at the end of the road with lovely view over the broad and very dog friendly. Short drive to lovely beaches and Horsey Mere with lovely walk past Brograve Mill. Didn't want to leave at the end of the week and would have stayed on for another week if the cottage hadn't been booked already. Will definitely be staying again.”
- Dee
“We have all just returned from our first stay at Poets corner and what an absolute delight that it was! The location is absolutely perfect and the beach is right on your door step, which is super handy when you have 4 dogs with you. The cottage is amazing and has everything you could want from a holiday and more, so much space both inside and out and equipped with everything that you need to have a comfortable stay. (the underfloor heating is a real delight, especially when getting out of the shower/bath), beds are so comfy that you never want to get up, the garden is so superb for your pooches and is literally a taste of heaven for them, near enough every night we had to drag them inside to go bed. Right from the moment we parked up in the driveway we knew that we was in for a pure treat! we can't thank gail and her team enough for all the wonderful things they do! I could keep writing and fill a book with all the fabulous things to say about this place! I cannot recommend this place enough and if you're looking for a perfect and stress free holiday in norfolk then please visit Pack Holidays as you won't be disappointed, we may have only just left but we already can't wait to book and be back again next year!!”
- Jordan Wardle
“Heath Cottage. Fantastic dog friendly cottage. Everything to make the 4 legged friends happy, home made dog treats, dog tags saying “I’m holidaying at” bowls, towels, beds etc. Loved Winterton on sea beach and Cart Gap beaches. Good location for Bacton Woods too.stairs in cottage were very steep but you got used to them but glad it had down stairs bedroom for me as I have mobility issues. Lovely quiet location with some lovely pubs. Glad to have found somewhere that is fine with me taking all of my babies (4) and will definitely visit again.”
- Lindsey Chapman
“Didnt want to leave ! Oak cottage is a fabulous place for larger families of for like ours with elderly relative that dont do stairs ! With 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor this suited us extremely well ! Near the beaches and so quiet it was ideal for a chill week ! Gail and her staff should be very proud ! We travelled with 4 small dogs so needed to be extremely satisfield the garden was secure ...i neednt have worried ! We will be back for sure !”
- Jane Britain
“We had a great holiday at Snowdrop Cottage in Winterton on Sea. The cottage was really well located and had everything we needed. The garden was a good size and fully enclosed which was great for the dogs.”
- Michele Walker
“Neaps Hickling. Really enjoyed our stay at Neaps, the cottage was beautiful and the garden an hit with our 2 dogs. Everything we could of possibly needed was provided. We hope to return soon. ”
- Steve & Terry
“Everything thats advertised here is true. Excellent accommodation aimed at providing for not just us humans but the dogs too. It was clean and for dog friendly accommodation you wouldnt know dogs had been there. I stayed at The Coach House which was a great hub for exploring. We beach hopped every day spending a few hours at each to get around them all (with 9yr and 13yr old children and two dogs). Horsey is a must to see the seals! The atmosphere so peaceful its amazing. Amazing beaches and walks with no crowds of people so you and your dogs can relax together. If you are thinking of booking please do as you will not be disappointed and cottages get booked up quick. Im returning next year as loved it.”
- Jo Hart
“Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Everything has been thought of for both dogs and their humans!”
- Becky Hamilton
“We stayed in The Dairy and had a wonderful time! Despite it being the middle of August the beaches had plenty of space for the dogs and we found some lovely quiet walks in the Broads where we barely saw another person. The accommodation was lovely and cosy with everything catered for. We loved the enclosed courtyard as it meant the dogs could wander in and out as they pleased. Definitely one of the most dog friendly cottages we have stayed in and we certainly hope to return in the future!”
- April
“Just returned from a weeks stay at 'Neapps' cottage in Hickling. What a wonderful cottage with every amenity you could wish for for you and your furry companions. The cottage was ultra dog friendly with a lovely garden for the dogs to play in. Upon our arrival we were greeted with chocolates and local apple juice for the humans and free locally made dog treats for the dogs. 100% recommend this cottage if you have dogs and want to visit a lovely part of the country where everyone you meet is dog friendly. Beautiful country and beach walks just a few minutes drive from the venue, will definitely be returning again!! Thank you, for the memories.”
- Dick Wall
“We have just come back from a week at Crincle Cottage Horsey. The cottage is clean and well maintained and just right for the 2 of us and our 3 dogs. It may have been a bit on the small side if fully occupied - the cottage slept 6. The beach is a 10 - 15 minute walk down a track from the cottage, there are sheep in the fields and they sometimes came out onto the track so dogs had to be kept a close eye on. The beach was lovely, hundreds of seals all along the shore but dogs did have to be kept on leads. It is a short 10 minute drive to Winterton which is our favourite beach, dogs off lead on the beach and in the dunes and valley, also a lovely café to relax in after a walk. Also a small supermarket for supplies as there isn't anything local to the cottage. The garden is excellent for the dogs, fully enclosed with no worry about them escaping. Wooden floors upstairs and down, easy straight stairs and an upstairs bathroom all a real bonus for us. Parking is just outside the paddock gate so really easy to get the dogs out of the car and safely into the back garden. ”
- Jackie and Mike
“Just returned from an amazing relaxing holiday at Crincle Cottage. Our fanily of two adults and two girls plus our beloved Lab Woody. Lovely remote location (but still has that all important wifi !) Clean, cozy and very doggy friendly. Fabulous enclosed garden, outside tap with hose for sandy paws. Great walks on your doorstop, wonderful strolls to the Beach (about 15-20 mins). lovely and deserted and we were lucky enough to see hundreds of seals on the beach. Absolute heaven x”
- Yvonne & Family
“Stayed at oak cottage for a glorious week - wonderful home from home! 8 adults and 3 dogs all accommodated perfectly. So dog friendly - even the naughtiest hound couldnt escape and the dog shower was very appreciated after a particularly gruesome roll in something very smelly! Kitchen was so well equipped and even tho the weather was a bit unpredictable, we still made the most of the bbq and fire in the garden. Cant finish this review before mentioning the bath - HUGE!!!! Given my oldest son is 6ft 8, this was a real treat. Thankyou for a wonderful week. ”
- Ali hodgson
“We have just returned home from a wonderful week at Poets Corner. No one wanted to leave and come home! It has to be the nicest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Mundesley itself is lovely, a pretty seaside village with everything in it you could possibly need and everyone was so friendly. Poets Vornwe has the most amazing garden and our dog Bob and the grandchildren had great fun playing in it and exploring every part of it.”
- Janet Penfold
“Wonderful holiday in the new Heath Cottage, what a lovely place, 5 mins from the beautiful Sea Palling Beach....everything just perfect.”
- Mandy Addington
“Oak Cottage East Ruston Just spent a fantastic week there with our 5 dogs, the accommodation was excellent, dogs loved it and spent a lot of time playing in the well fenced garden, the cottage is equipped with everything that you would need and thank you Gail for the welcome provisions, will definitely consider coming back. The dogs loved the showers they had one before we came home. Highly recommended.”
- Margaret Wray
“A week was not long enough for our stay at the Dairy in North Walsham, we took our four little dachshunds and found the beaches and bars of this area of Norfolk very dog friendly. The property itself was ideal for just two of us, it had patio doors opening onto a very secure courtyard which was great for the dogs to go out and come in as they pleased, it was also a lovely little peaceful suntrap however indoors always remained nice and cool. Everything we needed was there and pack holidays and the owners left a welcome pack to help find our way around the area which was great because we had never been before. Would definitely recommend.”
- Andrew and Dawn
“Had a lovely stay at Crincle Cottage with my two dogs. I loved the spacious secure garden with outdoor table and chairs. Customer service was amazing. The cottage had everything we needed, very dog friendly and then there were dog walks right on the doorstep and lots of opportunities to see some wildlife. Over all this was a much needed break & me and the dogs all had a fab time, couldn't have asked for more, they had everything covered!”
- Amy
“For the second time this year we have just come back from the Coach House after another splendid week in beautiful Norfolk and one of Pack Holiday's properties. The accommodation was wonderful and we were well looked after by Gail who runs Pack Holidays and Simon and Felicity who own the Coach House. This is only the second time we have visited Norfolk and found that the Coach House has been a great base to explore from, the property itself is quiet and secluded and relaxing with all the equipment one would need to self cater. We occasionally saw the owner who passes by with a wave and a smile leaving us to our own devices but we know that both he and Gail were at the end of the telephone should we need anything. Our two dogs and my sister's dog settled well and enjoyed all the comforts of home, there were plenty of throws, dog towels and bowls that we knew that we didn't need to bring our own. There were some delicious treats for us and some home made treat for the dogs too that went down very well. We've booked another Pack holiday for our main two week break in the Summer and can't wait. WELL RECOMMENDED.”
- Denise
“We have just spent a lovely weekend at Stable cottage in North Walsham. The cottage is very quaint and comfy, well equipped and has a very secure garden. “Just returned from a fantastic week at The Coach House. Lovely dog friendly accommodation and secluded garden and of course they loved the home made treats left for them. Actually we loved the treats left for the humans as well ðŸ‘😃 the local beaches were brilliant and most were dog friendly. Dog beds, bowls and the one cage we requested were all there for us. Will definitely be passing on details to our dog friends during hope to return in the future ðŸ¾ðŸ¾ðŸ°ðŸ¾ðŸ¾ðŸ˜”

“We have just returned from our weekend away at stable cottage. The cottage was perfect for both humans + dogs. A lovely welcome pack awaited us, which was fab. quite secluded, although garden slightly overgrown. Amble amenities on your doorstep, lovely walks for the dogs. Only 10 min drive to the beach. Gail was great throughout the whole booking process. Thank you for a lovely experience. ”

“We stayed at Snowdrop Cottage, the cottage was well equipped and left clean. Excellent location for a chillaxing holiday. I will definitely be booking again :)”
- Carina Anderson
“Just came back from The Coach House; such a wonderful time was had by all! Thank you for the lovely tasty welcome package, the dogs loved the treats. Thank you to Simon for securing the front yard space meaning that we could wake up and let our dogs our for a tinkle from the comfort of our bedroom leaving the rest of the house to sleep in in peace. Gail has been such a help with all my questions regarding the three 'Pack Holiday' we've booked for this year. We look forward to returning to comfort of The Coach House next month and Crincle Cottage in the summer. So pleased we've found this site, there's been a great deal of effort put into making the properties comfortable, clean and well maintained and fully equipped. Can't wait to return to Norfolk, The Coach House has been a wonderful base to explore from and has been a home away from home for our senior dogs ”

“We had a lovely long weekend at the Diary with our two border terriers. A secure cobbled courtyard and easy access to a field and woods. The shops are nearby so everything to hand. The Dairy was well equipped and had everything needed on a short or long stay. A cosy cottage ideal for two adults and two dogs. The dogs loved all the nearby beaches and the dog friendly pubs. Will definitely be back!. ”
- Natalie Whittaker
“Stayed at Neaps cottage at Hickling with our dog. What a delightful cottage, very well equipped with top quality fixtures and fittings. The garden is fully enclosed, with a nice patio area. There are two dog friendly pubs within walking distance, great dog walks locally and great beaches a few minutes drive away. Mike, the owner couldn't be more helpful, friendly or welcoming, providing treats for both humans and dogs. Gail at Pack holidays was also very helpful, giving great advice and insight on the surrounding area. We will be returning soon.”
- John + Pauline
“Just got back from Oak Cottage booked through Pack Holidays. Most dog friendly place we've ever stayed. Every need catered for, both human and dog! Even dog showers in the garage so I bathed all 4 of our dogs before returning home. 5 minutes stroll to dog friendly pub, which served huge portions of lovely food. 10 minutes drive to dog friendly beaches. Really can't rate this place highly enough! ”
- Michele Lancaster
“Fabulous holiday, wanted to stay longer. We took 5dogs to snowdrop cottage and they enjoyed their holiday as much, as we did.The fully enclosed garden was perfect even for my 12 week old chiauhauh puppy! Plenty of dog friendly walks even the nearby beach is all year round dog friendly! Lots of furniture covers for the dogs, bowls and even special biscuits. Could not find 1 fault with the entire holiday. Can't wait to return! Many thanks to Gail and owners and cleaners.”
- Mary findley
“A lovely long weekend staying at Neaps.Set in a quiet location the cottage was clean and cosy with everything we needed provided. Large garden which the dogs loved. The weather was good so we were able to spend time sitting outside. Long walks at Sea Palling, Waxham and Happisburgh. Would also recommend Smallsticks cafe Happisburgh. Would definitely go back to Neaps.”
- Dawn Hollings
“Just come back from a lovely week at Snowdrop Cottage in Winterton on sea, what a wonderful place this is this was our second visit in past year. The place is heaven for dogs with a conservatory that leads into a fenced in large garden , and the dunes leading to the beach a 50 yard walk away. As always the property was very clean and tidy and a nice little tray of dog biscuits and cake for Adults, with a Pub, Fish and chip shop and a local store what more do you need, will be definetly coming back next year all credit to Gail and the team.”
- Steve Coles
“Just had a 5 day break at Poets Corner in Mundesley. A really nice dog friendly property and pretty good for us as well! Well appointed and equipped, solid floors throughout. Warm comfortable, underfloor heating enjoyed by our 3 dogs. Garden huge, and interesting for the dogs to roam totally safely, exploring their own wood. We'd not been to Mundesley before, though we know North Norfolk well. Enjoyed it, nice beach and good walks from the village. Easy access to other beaches like Happisburgh, Winterton etc. Highly recommended ”
- John Pritchard
“Have just returned from a lovely weekend at Oak Cottage. The best way to describe it is that your dog has taken you on holiday with them! Loved it, both pooches and humans well catered for. A home from home. Will certainly return. Thank you Gail for the warm welcome.”
- Katy

“Extremely comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Enclosed Courtyard backgarden small but ample for us and our 3 dogs given that there is plenty of walking nearby. Owners nearby and very friendly and helpful. ”
- Donna and Lennard Francis
“The cottage was clean on arrival, well equiped for our stay and very useful for the two of us with two young dogs. Discrete and extremely quiet, surprisingly,in respect to its location so close to the centre of town. North Walsham offers avast range of opportunities to explore, from those on the NE coast, historic houses as Felbrigg, Blickling and Gunton within a most approachable distance of about ten miles. The cottage is within a wealth of footpaths and other places to walk dogs in safetyand enjoyment. Our experience on arrival, with a basket of apple juice, cake and dog treats and milk in the fridge meant that we felt genuinely welcomed. The placing of the cottage in the grounds of Marshgate Housewas surprisingly good as there was plenty of privacy and lack of overlooking. The people staying in the Diary had three greyhounds with them which caused us no problemwith our dogs during the whole week. The gardens are well planned, easy to use and lovingly kept. We were fortunate in having extraordinarily mild weather, apart from the dramatic Storm Boris, and Simon brought us out a table and chairs into the garden which we enjoyed using for most of the week. The paintings on the walls were numerous and individual to the owners which helped to uplift the quality of the spaces. The decoration, furniture and fitting out of the cottage was considered in a practical and cultured manner which gave a very positive feel for the user and enjoyment of the spaces. We would gladly recommend this holiday to any of our friends and will look forward to our next visit.”
- David Ashton Hill
“My boyfriend and I stayed at Neaps for a long weekend with our 2 dogs during the half term. We had all the help and support previously from Gail with a wonderful service for booking our break. When we arrived we met Mike, the owner of the cottage who was very welcoming and helpful with all information about the cottage, where to walk our 2 dogs, and what's on locally at the weekend. Neaps was filled with all amenities you could ever need for a break away, every small detail has been covered, even a guide book of local walks from Mikes dog buddy! We loved our welcome gifts, which were very yummy and thoughtful! We enjoyed the local beaches, exploring and visiting local villages, and then heading home in the evening to the log burner and lazing infront of the fire..heaven! We cannot fault the whole package, from the booking process to the amazing cottage, and all the amenities provided. We truly had a wonderful stay, and cannot wait to return! ”
- Hannah
“We stayed at Stable Cottage last week and were very impressed. It met all our needs and those of our 9 month old Labrador on his first holiday away from our home county. A crate was provided for him, along with a generouis chill-out area for him, which he made regular use of. He made himself right at home, as did we. The owners, Simon and Felicity, along with Gail, were kindness itself. On what was to be our last day we had a family bereavement in the county and we requested another night's stay. Not only did they agree, but refused to accept payment for the extra day. We were so touched. Highly recommended, and we would go back in an instant.”
- Dennis & Sally Clegg
“Had a lovely week at Crincle Cottage with our 3 huskies. Cottage had everything we needed including a great bath!! On an evening settling down in front of the wood burner was a great way to relax. Lots of good walks straight from the doorstep means the car doesn't need to move. The pub is literally 200yds up the road and does real ales and good food - including takeouts of both!! What more do you need ?”
- Jane and John Dickerson
“We went to Neaps for the New year. The cottage was lovely with everything we needed and an ample garden for our two boxers. The beaches are perfect in the area this time of year for the two of them to run about and play. The local pub the greyhound does lovely food they are all friendly and the dogs are welcome in their too.”
- Jo Mills
“We spent three nights at The Dairy over New Year. It was warm and comfortable with everything we needed plus bowls, bed and safe enclosed courtyard for our dog. We appreciated the ridge and the cake and Pebbles, our dog loved the dog muffins. We had some lovely beach walks, enjoyed seeing the seals at Horsey and had some lovely lunches at various dog friendly pubs. Gail was helpful and accommodating during the booking process. All in all we had a very restful and relaxing few days. ”
- Clare Pierce
“Poets Corner is just perfect for dogs and their owners in every way. The cottage is perfectly set up so you have nothing to worry about and all you need to do is get your dog/s on a lead and walk the short distance to the fantastic beach. The garden is wonderful for dogs to explore safely without worrying they will get out. The cottage itself is peaceful and cosy. We have spent a wonderful few days and will certainly return in the future. ”
- Deborah Thompson
“Our family of 9 adults and a baby have just spent a fantastic weekend at oak cottage. Like all the other guests have commented, Gail was brilliant throughout the booking process and accommodated all of our needs. She even made sure we had Christmas decorations including Christmas tree! The cottage was extremely well equipped and enough space for all. Beautiful location within 20 minute drive of coast, where we enjoyed fish and chips and it was open on Sundays. The house was extremely comfortable and we all felt at home. Would definitely book again. ”
- Sue wallace

“We have just come back from a holiday at Crincle Cottage. What a lovely place. There was 5 adults and 8 dogs. Gail was a star from beginning to end. Answered all questions and queries and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself is in a very quiet location and is a 10 minute walk from seeing the beautiful grey seals...an absolute delight. The cottage is very well equipped with all that you would need. We loved the area and in particular the beach at Sea Palling. Will definitely be going back to Crincle cottage again. ”
