“Nice cottage, although in my personal opinion pricey for what you get, if price included a cooked breakfast it would be better. Gate that lead to dog area was unmaintained and had to be lifted & pulled shut, the gravel area that the dogs have to cross is too sharp & my dogs refused to go across, meaning having to lift them, could be so easily resolved with laying flag stones. Hot tub is clean, well cared for. Pub is within walking distance but it’d be a dangerous walk with dogs as it’s on a country road with no pavement it was far safer to drive there. There are a few local beaches that were nice clean and quiet for the dogs. Location is nice and tranquil but just a few small things let it down. The kitchen layout wasn’t ideal with the sink in a tight corner. Room has two small two seater sofas this would be better with one being a longer 4 seater or a corner sofa would create more sofa space, there is a drop step that leads into the kitchen which you almost fall over on arrival. It’s stocked with some comfy sun beds to use in the garden. Use of the large run paddock would definitely be an added bonus for the dogs without great recall. It is a lovely place but a few tweaks are needed to make it par or par with the pricing. ”
