Fair Farm Hideaway - Dog Friendly Glamping in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Come and enjoy a true rest and relaxation in the rural Leicestershire countryside. Discover our unique luxury glamping site in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds. Our site has a 2 night minimum stay* and consists of 10 hand crafted shepherd huts nestled around 2 established fishing lakes on the edge of the village of Waltham on the Wolds, Leicestershire.
All of our shepherd huts benefit from their own private wood-fired hot tubs and every hut has a fire pit and BBQ (subject to weather conditions).

The Hideaway is a unique countryside glamping experience where you can choose from our 10 hand made shepherd huts nestled around 2 established fishing lakes. For insurance purposes we are an adult only site and we have a 2 night minimum stay policy.
All our shepherd huts on site that have their own private wood fired hot tub, raised outside deck area, a double bed, TV, kitchenette, ensuite toilet and shower facilities.
We provide complimentary wood, kindling and firelighters for the hot tub for your stay.
We have made a number of changes to 4 of our shepherd huts this winter.
Hot Tubs
Relax and unwind in our handmade Scandinavian style wood fired hot tubs. Our natural still water chemical free hot tubs are a wonderful way to destress and immerse yourself in a Nordic experience in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds.
All of our hot tubs are positioned for maximum privacy, many benefitting from hand crafted privacy screens to enable guests to feel as relaxed as possible in their Hideaway. Lose yourself in the ambience of woodsmoke and warm water, as you create memories that last a lifetime.
Complimentary kiln dried firewood, kindling and fire lighters are provided for guests at the Hideaway.
Local Area
Fair Farm Hideaway is located in the village of Waltham on the Wolds, which lies on the A607 between Grantham and Melton Mowbray. If approaching the village from Melton Mowbray, the access road to Fair Farm Hideaway is at the edge of the village, immediately after the Waltham Hall Nursing Home on the right.
Turn right when you see signs for Waltham Heights a Belway Housing development.
Keep driving straight on the road past Beeby Drive until you see our reception shepherd hut. Take a right following the Hideaway signs which will take you to the car park next to the huts.
If approaching the village from Grantham, continue on the A607 through the village. At the far end of the village, on the left, immediately before the Waltham Hall Nursing Home, you will find the access road to Fair Farm Hideaway. Follow the road and then take a right turn down to the Shepherd huts.
