Brook Meadow is a family business and run by Mary and Jasper Hart for more than 27 years. Set in the tranquil Northamptonshire countryside and situated on a working farm, the site is surrounded by 400 acres of peaceful pasture and arable land, with 20 acres designated for holidaying and a breath-taking five-acre lake.

Over the past 20 months Mary and Jasper, along with their daughter Claire, have completed an overhaul of Brook Meadow’s accommodation facilities and grounds to offer guests a new and exciting holiday experience.  In 2018 we became a multi award winning site receiving recognition in particular for our lodges and glamping. This year we are also shortlisted for multiple awards and are thrilled that our adventure to transform Brook Meadow is generating further excitement, interest and recognitions.

The two original lodges have been refurbished and a third lodge has been added, all of which now boast a high-end English botanical design linking with the peaceful setting and lake views.

A new safari themed glamping tent has been set up, in which visitors can now enjoy a luxury canvas experience in a 6m diameter large bell tent. The site is now available for wedding hire, a new pirate themed area is bookable for children's camping parties, the onsite shop now stocks a wider variety of products including indulgent Thamar farm house ice-cream and if you time it right you'll find the best free range eggs going.

Enjoy a stay in a holiday home authentically designed to sit perfectly in the breathtaking lakeside setting with botanical interiors. Each are unique in feel with heart warming welcoming interiors.

2 of 3 lodges are pet friendly so you can even holiday in style with your pampered pooch!  All lodges are fully serviced with a weekly clean and linen change.

Sink in to a quality mattresses with Egyptian cotton bedding and cosy up with velvet cushions. You will find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area so you can eat home cooking on your great escape. Each kitchen contains a fridge, oven and microwave. Woodpecker also has a dishwasher. In the lounge there is a flat screen TV, DAB radio and free WiFi.

Relax on your veranda with seating in your own personal outdoor space to enjoy views across the lake. ​All lodges have ramped access from the driveway and visitors can park directly outside the front door.  All lodges sleep 4 people with an optional extra of a sofa bed in Woodpecker and Skylark for a further two. Fishing is included on the easterly side of the lake.

Shop
We have a small shop on site, where you can buy daily essentials such as bread, milk etc.  Our fresh eggs from Mary's free range hens are amazing! We also offer a range of luxury and everyday treats and snacks and of course those all important marshmallows to enjoy toasting on your campfire. We stock a great range of ice creams including Thaymar Real Luxury Ice Cream treat-size tubs, with lots of flavors on offer such as Natural Vanilla, White Mint Choc Chip, Elderflower & Gooseberry and many more delicious flavours.
