Breedon Hall - Dog Friendly Bed And Breakfast In Breedon on the Hill, Leicestershire

Nestled behind ancient high walls, in the centre of Breedon village, a late Georgian manor house awaits your visit. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy, and you will be treated to a wonderful breakfast, from locally-sourced produce including homemade granolas, marmalades and jams.

Whilst we would never lay claim to 5-star status, as an award-winning Alastair Sawday “Special Place to Stay”, and 'Excellent' rated  by Trip Advisor for the past 3 years' running, we offer a high-quality and very personalised country house style bed & breakfast experience, with five ensuite bedrooms. 'Experience' is another way of saying we are fully signed up to the Alastair Sawday ethos: we are different, not bland and our personalities are very much part of our business!

We are popular with bridal parties preparing for their big day, booking the entire house out and taking advantage of the privacy & intimacy we feel able to offer, prior to 'launch'! Equally, we are often used as a family get-together place, a central spot for all to assemble, particularly utilising Meynell Mews,  the self-catering cottages.

Our own in-house catering is headed up by Charlotte, who already has a well-deserved reputation created over 25 years running her own business. Suffice to say she has never had to advertise.

Dogs
We absolutely love having your dogs come to stay with us in your room but we should like to be assured of the following before you bring them;
- They must be up to date in their vaccinations
 - They must be housetrained please
- They must be non-aggressive to other dogs, especially to our own  spaniel, Luna.
- Please keep them off the furniture and absolutely not on the  beds
- Please clear up any mess left in the gardens/drives/paths.

Welcome to Meynell Mews , a row of townhouse-style cottages, each able to sleep 4, in the heart of the countryside, yet close to East Midlands airport, and between the attractive market towns of Melbourne & Ashby de la Zouch. Quiet, secluded and private ... but in the middle of Breedon village.

Recently renovated from a former stable block, and Listed Grade II, each property is beautifully furnished to a high standard, providing all the home comforts and modern conveniences you would expect.

A peaceful retreat, with free Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchens and luxury bathrooms, Meynell Mews is the perfect central base for working from as a short term base, or as a holidaymaker with sightseeing, walking, fishing, cycling, sailing and much more on your doorstep. If staying for over a fortnight, it can also save you money on a hotel equivalent.
